Best reverb pedal on the market for the price. I was a bit worried when I bought it (because of how inexpensive it was) but I must say this pedal is fantastic
I didn't hear that spring slapping sound when you hit the strings hard. But many other cheaper reverbs don't have that either, so it sounds absolutely OK in that price range.
My priority in a reverb pedal is spring first, and then some kind of hall sound. Also, I don't like teenie; tiny knobs, or those tiny toggle switches that stick up. The single spring reverb on this one sounds good and also can double as a hall effect. TC Electronics Skysurfer would be my next choice, but it is double the price. After that, if you want some modulation with your reverb, the price is tripple the price. I like simplicity, this one gives you spring and hall, and it's really not bad at all. That's my $0.02.
I love your demos so much. Wanted to get the behringer cos of your video but it's not in stock so i decided to get this, sounds incredible for the price
Hi Sledge. Can you please tell me if you find the footswitch is of good quality? I bought a Kokko mini pedal & the switch feels very cheap. It lacks the strong snap of my other pedals. Also, do you notice any volume or tone loss with this pedal? Thanks a lot Bro!
@@t-boog2173 the footswitch is very clicky and firm, good quality. There's no volume loss, if anything a little bit of gain. Not sure about tone loss, don't think there is, nothing noticeable anyway. Mate for the price this pedal is definitely worth it
I needed a reverb and dont have a lot of money so i ordered this one blindly, its in mail. so i wanted to hear it and man im shocked and glad i ordered it. i have mosky golden horse and it sounds good too, mosky stuff is cheap and actually pretty good!
I think theyre pretty good too..i was in the market for a Marshall, I ordered their Plexi Distortion Pedal. I tried both solid state MG Marshalls and DSL 20 watt tube Marshalls and came home to hear the Mosky Plexi Pedal through my Deluxe Revetb amp and liked the static sounding pedal tone better than the new Marshalls. These pedals are an excellent size and they sound really good. The Azor Overdrive Pedal is inexpensive and also sounds quality
For me this pedal is good for beginners.. After gets use to Reverb effects then can buy a bit expensive reverb.. And that was me b4 get use to reverb Pedal
hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think! no, I've never had any contact with Mosky, every pedal I've demoed by them I've bought with my own money :)
@@ronaldrosete4086 yeah, lots of violet LEDs actually go into ultraviolet, so they're brighter than they seem (and that can lead to eye damage if it's bright enough, but that's not a problem with little LEDs, more lasers than anything)
It sound ok all by itself But when you run other pedals like OD it will color the sound But for $25.00 what do you want My old 63 Bandmaster sounds cool for Surf guitar So if that’s all you need it’s cool and sounds ok
Still sux, but the fact that you can get even a tolerable spring verb for under $100, is pretty special. Reverb is expensive. It can be hard to tell a $20 OD or chorus from a $200 one, but cheap reverbs typically sound terribly fake. Anything even close to a spring tank, is going to be over $100. I don't even have a spring, because I can't afford one that doesn't make me grind my teeth. However, Im really considering trying one of these if I can find one cheap. So far, the best quality reverb effect under $100 that Ive found, is the Snake Bite. Not too versatile, but does its thing really well. Astonishingly well for the price.
What is your signal chain for this? It sounds fantastic. Ibanez > pedal > ? Are you going into an amp and micing it or is it direct to an interface? If direct, what software is it going into?
Hey Ryan. Can you please tell me if you find the footswitch on this pedal is of good quality. I bought a Kokko mini pedal and the footswitch feels cheap. It lacks the strong, solid snap like on my other mini pedals. They're all cheap pedals but they all have good switches except the Kokko. Thanks Bro & Thanks for the good demo.
Hey Ryan! I'm looking for a spring reverb and i already own the hall of fame mini, it's a nice pedal but I can't get those types of sound with it. Since you tried both if I want the spring sound, should I sell the HoF for this little boy? Thanks and take care!
I just ordered this petal. Was a little worried about the price/quality of sound. This video set my mind at ease. Hahahah at least until Amazon delivers it. Hopefully my egnater tweaker 15 with a to800/ cheap tube screamer and this cheap ass reverb. Hopefully doesn’t disappoint.
I bought the Eno you reviewed and hated it. After loads and loads of great reviews on this Mosky, I'm getting this one tomorrow and probably binning that shit Eno pedal.
It's importante to be in tune when demoing thank you sir , so many demos with guitars out of tune destroys the efect pedal and the iceing terrible players, there should be a law against them.
i m kind of new in the E-guitar world. i do check pedals for a while now. because i want to buy a good but unexpensive guitar and some pedals..i like country music and want guitar and pedals for this style. now i m a little confused because this Spring Reverb sounds very much like Delays and chorus pedals..and acoustic pedals. harmony.... are they same or is there a difference that I don't get it for now because I m really new in this guitar world.. ... I hope someone can help me out with this.. and maybe what pedals I should buy for country music solo playing.. soft and sweet sound. not Heavy Metal. in mind yet... until now i like the Behringer Accoustic modeler am 400. sounds like a delay.. . then the Overdrive of joyo.. and what pedal should i buy more?? a compression pedal ?? Joyo has some interesting pedals like the Joyo Jam Buddy for 80 usd around....with different pedals inside . sounds really strong .. and i like the American style pedal of joyo..
a compressor pedal can be useful as they smooth out sudden volume differences in your playing. but they can be a bit too complicated to beginner guitar players because it's a rather subtle and not that intuitive effect. it sounds like the best thing for you would be getting a multi-effects unit. they have muliple effects to give you a chance of exploring different sounds. you can get a good idea of what a chorus, a delay and reverb can do to your sound. and they can be quite affordable.
Usually I'll have two reverbs and two delays on my board if I'm doing ambient atmospheric stuff.. and when Im not I'll have one of each, but I still use a bit of amp reverb after the board either way :) I think with the anti stacking reverb argument there is a point.. it can become muddy and you can lose clarity.. but reverb pedals these days have such beautiful decay trails.. so its cool to hear how they interact.. muddy or not, I think reverb is fantastic to listen too :)
@rblyle382, Instead of feeding the output of one delay into the input of the other, you could try feeding the same signal to both then feeding the outputs into a mixer.
I personally didin´t use trust very much those mini micro cheap chinese pedals. The last one i bought direct from China, a looper, use to sound good, but there was something was wrong with the stop, for instance. But all the Mooer pedals i have, are good. same, for the price it is a spring verb. I always keep my amp's spring dialed down to 8'o-clock. This, does it.
reminds me of when I was young, 18 and had a Watkins copycat echo .so had to buy one at 70 years old ,,great fun
been trying to get my hands on one of those for a while :) they sound great!

You can get a lot of sounds from just two knobs.
