I love these videos. I dream of going to Japan and I really like how videos like this allow me to soak in the atmosphere and feel like I’m there, hopefully this works as a form of manifestation! 🤞🙏💫
I love this, miss walking on the streets in Tokyo/Japan so much! Love to see different neighbourhoods in Japan through your channels. I’m happy you take us to different places beside the typical touristy places.
I’m not kidding. As soon as I’m able to visit Japan, I DEFINITELY want to go on an adventure with you and Satoshi! You guys would be so fun to frolic around Japan with! 💗
Sorry for not turning in for a while Shinichi. I do really enjoy these walking tours and why first started watching UA-cam channels like yours. These videos help to familiarize myself before I get to Japan. Thanks again 👍
Shinichi, this was really a nice walk and your background information was very helpful! The right length, too. We don't comment very often but your TabiEats episodes are something we are excited about every time a new one is released.
Thank you so much for this video 🤗 I went to a Japanese language school right next to the shrine back in 2019 and it was one of the best experiences ever. It's so beautiful to see the streets I used to walk every day again in your video. Can't wait to visit again!
It’s pretty hot here in Arizona it’s 37.8 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit :-) so hot! give me some cool spring water! Love your walk! I love seeing all the different food stalls.
wow I didn't realize that that shrine was the big one in shinjuku. the last time i went up to tokyo I was staying quite near there and I managed to go on 七五三 celebration! I had lots of street food and was also the first time i had 甘酒. I really want to go back to japan now
Absolutely love this video. Shinjuku is one of the special places for me because it's my birthplace and so many memories there with my late Mom in there. 22:20 Streetcars were running on the backstreet where Shinichi san walked until the early '70s. According to my family, there used to be more streetcars back in these days. Looking forward to watching another amazing video!
I live near to Hanazono Shrine and the green area in the starting of the video. I would love to meet you someday. Thanks and I'm gonna watch the rest of the video now.
Thank you so much, Shinichi for making this video! It brings back my memory of first trip to Japan. My wife and I stayed at the Granbell hotel the very first night and we had no idea it was in the middle of the red light district!Always enjoy your video! Thank you and please make more!
I don't know if you've tried any of these things for insomnia but they've helped me so thought I'd share. Calcium and magnesium daily. Wear orange glasses at night that block blue light. These can be cheap safety glasses, they work just fine. It let's your body produce the melatonin hormone you need that tells your body it's time for bed. (I find that I need to wear them 3-4 hours every night to make me tired enough, so start a few hours before you want to go to sleep.)This is also why you should use yellow or orange light bulbs in the evening and reduce or eliminate screen time for phones and computers. At the very least, wear the glasses and use apps that change your screen color to block blue light. Also very important, get early morning sun before noon. At least one hour every morning to help set your internal body clock. And also eat all meals on a regular schedule. This also helps set your internal clock. (Times of day your body secrets particular hormones which all affect your sleep/wake cycle.) Hope this helps. Insomnia really sucks the life out of you.
Once the borders are widely opened, am sure that Japan is the first country that I would love to return to! Can't wait to try out all the seasonal food in convenience stores, the canned beer, the hot canned coffee from vending machines and food stalls outside the shrine... Thanks for the video, Shinichi! For bringing us around the local spots in Shinjuku, would really prefer this kind of small trip rather than check-in to "insta famous spots".
Ah, the Granbell hotel. They have a nice rooftop bar, you can sit outside, they have blankets if it’s too cold. I had my first (and unfortunately last!) Hibiki whiskey there! That Hanazono shrine has the Tori no Ichi festival every autumn, it had a really old fashioned cabaret show called Derisya Sweets when I was there. My Japanese teacher told me that in the old days that used to be a proper freak show.
Hi Shinichi, I just want you to know that I was having a terrible day today but your calm voice and sweet personality has really made me feel better and less alone. I really hope you continue to make such great videos ❤️. Lots of love from Florida
I stayed in a Airbnb apartment in Kabukicho, and although it’s all full of clubs and love hotels, my family enjoyed our stay. We didn’t see anything bad and my husband says he wouldn’t mind staying in that area again. He liked the convenience of the area being so near everything.
So nice to see a little bit of green in the middle of a city. In Sydney they are encouraging people to make roof gardens which is all very nice but they cannot be enjoyed by everybody like that tree lined boulevarde.
Hi Shinichi, loved this video… I find walking tour videos immersive. By the way, what is the name or the location where the “nature path” is? Really interested in going there when I visit. どうもありがとうございます🙇🏻♀️
Thanks Shinichi, this was such an enjoyable informative tour . The azaleas are a gorgeous pop of color in such a vibrant city . Plenty of restaurants ,shops and Hotels just perfect. 🤗💛👍
Thanks so much Shinichi for this vlog! So many good memories. I walked a lot of what you showed today cause I stayed at the APA Gyoenma in 2019. I have pictures of that same shrine. They were actually doing renovations and had scaffolding everywhere but it was still amazing! Funny story I was looking for Daiso in the area and Google kept saying I arrived. I gave up and later when I got back home found out it was UNDER my feet in the subway! 🤣 If Japan opens in time, my goal is 2 weeks in November. Hopefully you'll be able to have meetups one day!
Shinichi, salamat = arigato (salamat po = arigato gozaimasu) for the lovely walk. By the way, a couple years back during your live stream, I typed "salamat pi" when I meant to have typed "salamat po." It was an autocorrect error. Once again, you asked how to say thank you (in a polite way) in Tagalog and my phone typed it wrong (salamat "pi"). It is salamat po. Also, you can simply just say "salamat" which is like saying "arigatou." Adding "po" is formal
depending where you are from you could always use trains and ships like from Europe you could (maybe not yet) got to Vladivostok by train and then take a ferry to Japan (if it still runs though)
The weather is unseasonably warm for Autumn here in Australia and I am really not loving it. Usually by this time it's around 10°c and raining. The last few weeks it has averaged between 20°c to 25°c. I want my rainy, cozy indoors days
I love this! It's like being there. My only problem is that I would be stopping to snack EVERYWHERE hahaha! I know I'll probably never have the chance to go here but these videos just make me feel like I am there already
I have been to Japan three times but never seen Tokyo, Osaka is more my style. I may try Tokyo just to see Shinjuku Tiger who I think is a living national treasure. Have you ever seen him?
I sleep 4 to 5 hour A night .As I have t o get up at 6 am . BUT I just had 8 hours and the next night 7 hours . And my god I feel so much better for A long sleep .😲😲😲 OY MY YES fried food is the best lol ....Weather is getting cooler were I live ,As it is the start of the cooler months .
My partner and I would love to come to Japan! Thank you for sharing your videos! We love watching them one day we want to come and visit maybe after we are married as our honeymoon! Are gay woman accepted in Japan? I've seen content with men but rarely woman. ❤️It would be amazing to see some of Japan with you guys! We love your content and vibe!❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈
I'm usually at work when you drop a new video but I'm off today so I got to watch earlier. Yay!😄 I've saw a video once of the Golden Gai and I think it's a cool area to walk around. I like all the nifty alley ways. I don't know if I'd want to walk around there at night but it's fun in the day. And in Alabama we have a saying here... if ya don't like the weather just wait a minute and it'll change. Right now it's hot during the day and cold during the night. But with summer approaching it'll be hot, humid, and hot all the time.🌡😩🌞
I love these videos. I dream of going to Japan and I really like how videos like this allow me to soak in the atmosphere and feel like I’m there, hopefully this works as a form of manifestation! 🤞🙏💫
These walks/tours are so refreshing. Tokyo looks so well organized

Thanks for the amazing and informative videos. Have a great week ahead.
Going next year as a present for my 40th birthday from my wife
I miss Japan, wish it would re-open. Funny memories of getting lost in Shinjuku Train Station.
I'm coming to Shinjuku in February next year, looking forward to it

I’m new to your channel and would like to tell you what a lovely host you are. Thank you so much for this fun walk along!
That looks like quite a nice area. I hope you have a superb week!
I love these walks. Heck, I recognized some of these places! Can't wait to return to Tokyo...
Was just there a few weeks ago!
You are right, I do miss Shinjuku so much

The sun highlights red in your hair and it is very nice looking. Loved the video it was very fascinating. Japan is at the top of my bucket list.
I love the shinjuku granbell, I stay there everytime I’m in Tokyo
Hello from Guam! Thank you always for your videos!

That was a nice walk. I love those old businesses.

I’m literally dreaming every other night that I’m travelling somewhere in Japan. It’s usually in Tokyo, but sometimes it’s unclear where I am.

Thanks for your time to video this. I can't travel now, so I am visiting Tokyo vicariously through you. :)

I am terrified of flying so I really enjoy seeing these videos. I would love to see Japan

@@XYoukaiX I live in the USA. I’m not gonna make it to Japan. I would love to though💕
When I lived in Japan I was always told to NEVER go near Kabukicho or take the exits near there. It's nice to know things have changed a bit!
If you squeeze the nose band on your mask around your nose it will not slip down when you are talking. Hope this helps.
@ 25:50 shinichi what would u give that ramen place outta 10 ?
I enjoyed that vid!!!👍🏻
Shinichi you’re so sweet and polite. I like how you try to differentiate a love hotel and a standard hotel 😂😂😂

Would be really nice to have a map edited in on the side in your videos to give viewers an idea which part of the street you are on.

when will japan open up for tourist ?
I think they’re opening up in the summer for tour groups only.
I have been to Japan three times but never seen Tokyo, Osaka is more my style. I may try Tokyo just to see Shinjuku Tiger who I think is a living national treasure. Have you ever seen him?
Mahalo nui loa!! ❤️🌺
OMG. I didn’t even know there’s a Koreatown in Shinjuku. gotta love learning about these things from you. 🤭
Is Japan opened to Australia yet😭
Unfortunately not yet, although they are opening up to small groups starting this month. Hopefully borders will be open by summertime.

Shinichi... how many channels do you and Satoshi have? I think i'm starting to get confused 😅
I never actually knew there was a Korea town in Shin-Okubo.
Temperature in Manila is 35 but feels like 41
