I don't know much about AIXDSP but it seems they have amazing plugins, the multi-band gate seems one of the best on the market! This compressor is quite interesting! Cool video!
Love the interface and appreciate that someone or more likely several people spent many hours thinking about how the end user could see and control exactly what is going on in signal processing terms. Great work and great review Warren 🥰👍
Enjoyed this deep dive into the Intuition. Very flexible tool! Always gain a lot of knowledge from your videos. I entered the giveaway before it closed. Wondering if the results have already been posted somewhere or if that is still forthcoming?
On a side note; cool adding a cloud lifter to that mic. It gives it more of a broadcaster vibe in our opinion. Almost like a sports announcer, lol? That's what it reminded me of anyway. The comp certainly seemed to do something to upper mid-range. More distortion? Maybe. Hmm. Another good one here. Cheers. 👍
I think for beginners being able to have a visual representation of what the compression is doing to the signals could be very useful, but only so long as they learn to take what they have learnt with this and then use other (even hardware) compressors without a graphic representation, as we all know the values that are on the knobs can be misleading, in the end the target should be to set up any equipment using only your ears.
If possible, can you show how to mix a guitar track recorded using Electric Guitar VST (Virtual Instrument) with amps sim. I tried many times but always sound weird. Please.
CLA76 is one of my favourites, API 2500, CLA-2A and UVI OPAL, I've been trying to use Arturia FET-76, great plugin too! RVOX always works! Fabfilter PROC2 and Waves C1 are great, FabFilter MB and REAX (Reaper Stock) are awesome, Wave Arts Multi Dynamics is a plugin I've been using quite a lot too, for bus compressors SSL Native it's always somewhere in my mix, the Plugin Alliance Townhouse and the good old Metric Halo are very nice.
Hmmm interesting, time for a download, don't you think? The compressor looks a bit like my Three Body plugin, the Cenazoix Compressor, they also have the Kirchoff EQ. And I'm going to do the test with this material. If I'm satisfied, I post it on my channel, with a link to this channel. Thanks Warren, and that Shure, I need one, desperately, to play around with. All My mics are 440 as you may know. Ehm looking for the link for the multi tracks? Sorry, but can't find the URL. Thanks.
Bob Clearmountain is great, I definitely ruined some very good mixes trying to do a lof of heavy lifting on the master bus! I guess if you're not embarrased about your first mixes you're not going anywhere, right? 😂😂🤣🤣👍👍👌👌
I need some advice on a new Vocal mic, i’ve been using the Slate vms for a few years and I really starting to hate the top end of it. I’m looking to upgrade. My two favorite mics are the C800G and 251, anywhere between those two is what I’m looking for tone wise. what mic has the cleanest smoothest top end in the $750-$2000 price range?
There is a lot of choice, Lauten Atlantis, Lewitt 940, JZ V67 (excellent value) and similar priced mics from Mojave all are excellent choices for smooth top end in your price range
@@danymalsound I’m kind of turned off by model mics, I would rather spend the entire budget on just the hardware of a great mic instead of a software package, that’s basically what I have now with the slate vms

Great functionality on the Intuition; but I thought the SSL sounded better... cleaner and more like a record (to overuse the analogy).
The SSL compressor he tested with is not based on the G series buss compressor. I have a video comparing it with G buss compressors
Pipeline's comparisons video is here:- ua-cam.com/video/FJ3BmJ8hUek/v-deo.html
Virgin island here

Does it do something FabFilter Pro C2 doesn't?
SSL G Buss mode. And some oscope functions that may or may not be important for you.
