The arrangement of this song is absolutely insane. Everyone is on top level performance as well. So tight in every little syncopation. Great reaction Josh!
That syncopated section you replayed stays in time (4/4) with Aaron crackin' the snare on beat 3, for kind of a half-time feel. Listen again and clap the 4 beats, and you'll see. The syncopated horns and bass make it seem like a weird time signature, but it's not. Enjoyed your reaction! Dirty Loops is MIND BLOWING!!
This might be my favorite DL cover at this point. And they've done some MASTERPIECES regarding covers. I was nervous at first cuz they were stepping into so huge shoes, but to say they pulled it off is putting it way too lightly. It's outstanding. Jonah is just...*sigh*. Jon Lampley (trumpet) was a whole entire mood in this video. And I love how much fun Henrik was having. Aron is always so much fun to watch. I'm running out of words to express my adoration at this point for them (even though I just said a mouthful). And Cory Wong is funky beast himself. I'm really glad this collab happened.
Sweet reaction to one of the best covers of all time. Loved how you were diggin' this. Man you decide to cover one of the best loved, most iconic pop songs of all-time, by MJ no less...you better bring it. Loops and Wong and everybody brought it and then some. Wow they did the original proud and made it their own. That is some kind of music magic.
What a fire 🔥 DIRTY LOOPS with Cory and the rest of the band. Dirty Loops originates from Sweden. I can’ t surpress the thought that these guys descent from the Vikings who terrorized Europe in the 9 th century CE…. I forgive them freely 🤣.
absolutely amazing, band effort, but IMO it is the bass that lifts Dirty Loops from amazing to unreal in this song and in fact in pretty much all of their songs, the bassist (Henrik, I think) is just insanely good
Please giv. a good Yamaha Drum Set to this guy, in that way we can hear good melody note tom sound! DW is not for this band, theres no projection of the Toms in the Dirty Loops Mixes anymore with DW! Yamaha is the Drum Set for Dirty Loops!
Because they are so talented, and make random instrumentation join together to make masterpieces, rather than just simple straightforward music that is mainstream like everyone else
@@drumcorpslot I just don't think they work together as a group man. 3 extremely talented individual artists yet unless its a cover, their songs don't make sense to me.
@Da Bx key words in your statement are “don’t make sense to me”. The musicians that get them understand and appreciate how much sense they make. To each their own. If you delve deep enough into studying music theory they might start to make a little sense to you. However, if you don’t get it and don’t love them that is ok too. It is just the fact you asked that question to begin with that is a little off, since you see how much joy Josh gets from listening. Many of us have the same response. Why question someones joy?
This was lit! Please do a shirt that says: I don't count any more, cause it's get lost in translation!
That would be dope!
More like " Yall Multiplying ?! " 🤣🤣

F150 groove.
One can drive a Ford F150 right down the middle of the that wide groove pocket!
Killer arrangement!
Apart from being so groovy and brilliant, I think their love and respect for the song and MJ:s genius really shines through.
Michael would have jumped out of his seat!
The snare is clean, snappy , just killin man wow

exactly
I had the EXACT same reaction... and as soon as I ran it back, it was right there up front. Fantastic reaction!
Isn't it 12/8?
@@tkvids1377 could be that, too. The point is that it’s straight time. No odd time signatures.
I'm ok keeping the 12/8, or going with the band, but does anyone know which beat Cory is following? lol
No words... still listening
Wow! He was killing that… the whole band was in a zone that you don’t see bands in often! Would have loved to been there for this bro
He hold that high note crazy
just .... wow that's so brutal, this blow up my head.❗
Yo I Just Love How The Time Signature Went From A 6/8 To A 9/8 Back To A 6/8 And Then Seamlessly Transitions Into A 12/8.

I think I’m with you on this!!!! This was pretty amazing!!
I know you heard that dirty loops signature in there 👀😂

They’ve on this level of live arrangement musicianship for YEARS! Check out Dirty Loops out for sure!!!
You´re in for a ride. :D
They kill this and aron is tuff
Double bell euphonium! Nice!

Thats how to cover a classic!
The orchestra though !
Clean!
Pure 🔥 every second. ✊🏽
Can't wait for the Turbo album to drop!!
It's out!!
The best fusion record I've heard for years
absolutely amazing, band effort, but IMO it is the bass that lifts Dirty Loops from amazing to unreal in this song and in fact in pretty much all of their songs, the bassist (Henrik, I think) is just insanely good
They are locked , Aaron is rockin those drums and Bass player is crazy
I'm counting half time 6/4 during that horns breakdown part before the outro but I could be wrong 😂
Song is in 12/8 I believe, and halftime during horns break.
@@JakobStrand yeah maybe. Idk Dirty Loops out here doing the most😂
Who TF puts THAT kind of horn arrangement in THIS kind of song??? ...Dirty Loops, of course!
That would be Michael Nelson from The Hornheads. He has been doing some amazing horn arrangements with Cory over the last few years.
^ and for Prince, way back when!
The horns are amazing!!!
It’s the run me at 4:29 gosh! 😩
The pocket of the band is INSANE!!!!!!
Dirty loops always finish their songs making us say : ” is that all?”
Deep
Big tribute to the Voice of Michael Jackson! I thinks he is the best person that sing Michael!
Geshhhh 😱🔥🔥🔥💯💪🏾!!! Bass player 🔥
This is a awesome group!!! Where are they from? I`m a drummer and that drummer is GREAT.
Theyre from Sweden
GEEEEZUZ CRICE!!!!🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏💯
Hard Core STANK!!! I really can´t nail the time/meter the transition was in... can anyone help me out?
Always waiting until JC does a reaction. 💯👏👏
This dudes though❤❤❤
Sound likes if Stevie wonder made the instrumental
Did you catch the hand slap every 5th bar cool!
React to "follow the light" by dirty loops please!!
At 6:19 I think he's hitting the snare on the 3. But I could be wrong.
Awesome 😎
Mj would be proud
Like to hear them steve wonder hover ground
Higher
Sorry M.J. , this is better than the org. Sorry 1000 times...
Amazing!!
Kit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I bet MJ is begging God to let him hi5 this young man
Baddest jams 🔥
Aron is great on the drums but Henrik is simply next level and it's not even close or funny.
Joshua that middle section is just an afro cuban 3/2 clave bro, get up
What was uou saying about Aaron during the half time feel
It sounds very familiar!........mmmmm
What were you talking about when you were talking about Aaron's counting? I can't hear what you're hearing haha!
Hey, Josh. just wanna let you know that it's ok to put a headphone warning at the beginning of the video and proceed to scream throughout. 😂😂😂
Stewie Wonder style Thriller
Yooooooooooooooo🔥
12/8. Crazy stuff
that 2:03 stank face 👌
that singing is ridiculous

Managed by Quincy Jones! end of story... :)
Can you react Ray miss independent drum cover
Is this guy sounding like MJ or I'm hearing wrongly?
Josh please react to Alejandro sifuentes beggin maneskin
Can you say syncopation ?
Is they doing a Re-playing Michael Jackson's song thriller? I respect this but the Micheal Jackson one is better. But dirty loops has been on fire
That's far from a replay
@@dreichert1438 kind of as far as you can get without being too far away from the original. This is how a cover is supposed to be done 🔥
