i used to catch several dozen of them and put em in a cricket tube, me and my dad would anchor right above a nice drift on a decent stream, id start droppin grasshoppers over board, and once the trout started suckin em down i drop more, eventually i would have a feedin frenzy goin and thats when we would start fly roddin for em. so much fun. it only took me one time of forgetting my little landin net when i had a big brown on , i was so scared i was gonna lose it that i ran my hands into his jaws to grab him, i knew what was gonna happen, yeah he shredded my fingers, it was close to 5 pounds, well worth it, never forgot my net after that. good times.
I love seeing someone showing genuine content like this. Real fishing for real people!!
This is awesome! My favorite bait for trout fishing growing up was grasshoppers on an ultra light spinning set up.
That is cool.
