    Great car! I've got the S5 Sportback and kind of kicking myself for not just ponying up for the RS5. Next time!
    Also running 034 Stage 1, such a transformation. Car sits nicely, are you running any lowering springs or just the spacers you mentioned?

      Thanks man! Always happy to have more sportback owners watching the channel, and I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your 034 tune! The car is currently on 10mm wheel spacers and OEM springs, which on the RS5 I believe are a little lower than those on the S5, however I am planning to install the 034 springs in the next month or two, which will put it about 0.75" lower that what it is today. Thanks for watching, and happy modding!

    Car looks and sounds good man! Hearing that new intake, have it in mine now also! Honestly IMO 285 is too wide for the stock 20x9 rims, especially with the square shoulders and excess rim protection of the PS4’s.. Wondering if you’re feeling any squish or movement on the tight turns also? I had the 275’s on same size rims and the tread still looked over the edge of the rim and the handling didn’t feel as direct/tight as the stock Pirelli PZero with tighter sidewall. Yes the Michelin is a better all around tire, I just think you’re overtired, plus like you said you’re rubbing. I’m thinking of going down to 265 on these stock wheels with PS4 A/S’s or up to 285 on 20x10 wheels.
    You mentioned the car gets pretty warm when pushing - my former S5 did the same with just the 034 stage 1, so I expected with the RS. I plan to get an upgraded intercooler before I add the stage 1 to my ‘21 RS. You should do this before going to e85. I’m worried about Audi engines longevity with the excess heat when tuned. I’m sure you’ve heard of all the failures with the S4/5 B9 motors….though a different motor spec, the heat is a major factor they share.

      Thanks man, really appreciate the feedback! Agreed about the 285's being close to the limit of the stock wheels. I plan on swapping the tires onto aftermarket wheels sometime soon, and will go 20x10 with a slightly more aggressive offset. The tire as a whole feels a tad softer, but I attributed that to being accustomed to the feel of driving on three year old bald Pirelli's. Turn-in feels solid, and the tire hasn't felt like it wanted to roll over, but truth be told I haven't pushed them to the limit yet, only been on the car 48 hours. In regards to the cooling, definitely upgrade that intercooler/ rad combo if you plan on driving hard. As for the e85, it burns cooler than gas, so I'm going to experiment with a few tanks to see the effects. Enjoy your RS, and thanks for watching!

      Right on the money about the square shoulders of the PS4's. Most folks don't consider that not all 285s "fit" the same in terms of shoulder shape and sidewall deformation under load. I've got the S5 Sportback, and I'm running 275 PS4 A/S on my 20x10.5 +35 wheels (keep in mind my fenders are about 10-12mm shallower than the RS5). They have sort of a "stretched" look, and allow me to get by without any rubbing. There's also something to be said about a slightly stretched tire and how the sidewall reacts under cornering. There's significantly less "felt" flex. Only negative I've run into so far is people in SUVs telling me my tires look flat.
      Anyway, all things to consider. Happy hunting!

    Best back backroads / hills and clean pavement I’ve ever seen, where is this?

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  5 місяців тому +1

      I estimate roughly 50+ miles of the main roads were resurfaced in the last two years, but some of the more technical off-shoot roads still need to be done, but yeah that fresh stuff is great! It’s deep in the hills of Murrieta CA. There are some vids on the channel where I’m driving the 911 on Palomar Mountain, as well as Mount Laguna, and those are some of my fav roads in SoCal 🤙🏻 Thanks for watching!

    How’s the suspension? Is it stiff enough to Conner fast nd good while Being Soft enough to absorb bumps easily without yu feeling it in the cabin while being able to keep tires on ground for most grip possible ?

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  5 місяців тому

      The RS5 has dynamic ride control, so there are three modes. Comfort mode is softest, auto is middle, and Dynamic/individual are the stiffest. I filled that video in the middle setting which is the perfect balance when roads are semi-bumpy IMO. Dynamic/Individual mode is a tad bouncy, but grip is still amazing. There are aftermarket suspension components available to greatly reduce the bouncy feel, and I plan on putting those on the car soon.

    Was the front splitter scraping or were the fenders hitting tires?

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  3 місяці тому +1

      The front tires were rubbing on the top fender liner fastener. This has since been corrected. Thanks for watching!

      love that front splitter! 100% getting that for mine. how was the install? have to drill into the bumper?

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  3 місяці тому +1

      @@stealthhtm23 There is some drilling, and my recommendation is to not drill the forward most two holes below the radiator, the two holes you drill behind those is plenty. If you try to drill the forward two it will likely go all the way through the chin and be exposed. Everything else is a perfect fit. You have to temporarily remove the tray under the front of the car as well in order to get everything bolted up. Took about an hour and a half doing it by myself, but all around not a bad install!

      @stealthhtm23 3 місяці тому +1

      @@SpeedcraftGarage right on! and are those the stock 20x10 et 26 wheels you put the 285's on? why were you rubbing? lowered? I wanna slap some PS4S on mine too

    • @SpeedcraftGarage
      @SpeedcraftGarage  3 місяці тому +1

      @@stealthhtm23 Yes sir, stock wheels on OEM suspension. It was rubbing because of the 10mm spacers I have on the front. There is zero rub without spacers. What it rubs on is the fender liner fastener head at the top of the wheel arch. Options are to remove that fastener, user a 5mm or smaller spacer, or no spacer at all. 👍🏻
