Still can’t see how it’d take more than eight tent pegs (mine doesn’t!) to put up a Lanshan but hey ho...Nath there’s good UA-cam content to show you how!
I did forward him the Lanshan vid that everyone sends me regularly, I even followed it step by step 4hw day before as mentioned. There's no way in hell that this tent is being double pegged. But, it did the job and Nath actually slept so I'm sure we will see him out again yet. Cheers for watching.

Brilliant enjoyed this one. I did my first day trip to Dartmoor 2 weeks ago was supposed to be a camp but too windy. Had great time blue sky then total battle with the elements, getting lost in the bog . What an adventure can’t wait to return next year 👍🇬🇧😄
I had exactly the same situation a few months ago; got up to Great Links to find somebody had already setup and that really was the only decent spot. I ended up going back down to Arms Tor and found a really nice level pitch there with a good view of the valley.

Trev i use a silicone anti slip mate under my trekology and it works a dream, and small and light to carry, such a funny video, love the bit where Nath suggested going on the footpath, then instantly realised his mistake, Summit or nothing don't do paths! haha

I have a cook system the same as the Jobsworth it’s called the Highlander blade and I had exactly the same problem with the pot support so I bought another of eBay for £2.99 and it fits perfect, def worth looking into. I’ve had mine for 18 months and it’s never let me down and the full system was just £39.99. Glad Nath enjoyed the Thermarest, as I have just bought one and not been out in it yet. Hope I wake up as chipper as Nath (never thought I’d say that) 😂😂 really enjoyed it both, hope to see more in the future. 👍

No worries. The Lanshan police always get their backs up on here telling me im doing it wrong, but I followed the step by step guide the day before this in my garden and without additional pegs I couldn't do it with mine. Still enjoy it though. Cheers!

I did mine badly in the end with an old tube in which the nozzle was solid... just splodges it straight out of the tube.

No worries. The Lanshan police always get their backs up on here telling me im doing it wrong, but I followed the step by step guide the day before this in my garden and without additional pegs I couldn't do it with mine. Still enjoy it though. Cheers!

Great video .... glad to see Nath back .... an now a slight critique 😞 on the Lanshan I see you took the knot out of the line from the vent guy line and are pinning the vestibule with a seperate tent peg .... i did this at first but actually the original way works better and is actually easier ... oh btw I did finally pull the trigger on the Khaki Lanshan 2 ( don’t tell the missus 🤫) but not the pro.. still not convinced a single wall tent is for me ... Yeh they can be a bit open to chilly breezes ... dunno if you knew but there is a four season inner for those ... with less netting and more material I have one for my Lanshan .. not seen a review on how they perform .... oh oh I feel a gear review vid coming on 😂😂 ATB Dave Mc
