This monitor seems like its great I am considering getting it for my birthday. I have seen a few reviews on a couple of sites describing that the stand can be wobbly. As well as other people saying that the blacks seem muted or the backlight too bright. Have you seen anything of the sort?

I am writing this using that screen. I ended up switching one of my secondary monitors in my second workstation as I have liked this one very much. Everything is very customizable, and yes, viewsonic has always been known for adding some contrast to its monitors, some like itand some don't (I don't) I had to customize the color mode and increase brightness after having decreased contrast. Backlight has many modes and yes, the standard pre defined setting is way too bright, which actually is a good thing for many... just dial it down. I also have used many of Sceptre monitors that are much cheaper and very good. Soon (Maybe this weekend) )a short review about it's 27 inch model (amzn.to/3se7Xsc )
