Growing up as a Roman Catholic in Asia, I discovered the Orthodox as my brothers only late in life. Watching all the attacks on Christianity worldwide, I truly believe Jesus Christ Our True Shepherd will one day re-unite His Flock. How He does it will be His Holy doing. meanwhile, I pray for the safety of our Orthodox brothers in lands where they are a minority.

Just as important to Orthodox Catholic ( Eastern Orthodox).
Since both were the same at the beginning.
Another modest gesture from the RC Rome , we are well in the destined path to unification.
      Amen.

Not until the Orthodox give up their herectical doctrine and recognize the one true Church of Christ.

@Bobby Allen The Orthodox church knows and understands the importance of relics, unlike the Protest-ants. They received it with open arms and hearts. It's great to see the successors of Peter and Andrew, two brothers, to be together as brothers should.

if i were not taught by the Jesuits, i would probably not understand these actions by the Pope. but i am excited to see how the Holy Spirit is guiding the Church by using these peaceful tactics to make us, Christians, one. it feel like an illustration of Sun Tzu's The Art of War.
if our Jesuit archbishop peacefully bridged the gap between Christians and Muslims in our archdiocese. why not the Pope, the Pontifex (bridge-builder) with our brothers from the Orthodox Church?
too bad the protestants are hard-headed...

Relics are just relics, they aren’t holy. Please read the Bible and be informed. The Catholic Church does opposite the Bible says to do. No where in the Bible is there mention of relics or worship of statues or relics.

Catholic and Orthodox Churches don’t worship relics or statues of saints or any kind. It’s (relics) holy because once it was a vessel or temple of Holy Spirit ( spirit of God). Like holy temple references to the Jerusalem temple in the Bible.
