I was watching his Hot ones interview and I think the reason he can't speak and mumbles is because he is trying really hard not to curse
I just love how he says the most unintelligible sentences with just the absolute most confidence.
His mouth can't handle all the words that want to come out from his brains

When you want to say multiple versions of the same sentence at once and you only have one mouth and you don't know which verb will suit the best constructed sentence best.

I never understood what it was like for other people to try and decipher what the heck I was *attempting* to say to them. And then I started watching It’s Alive with Brad. I would love to meet him and while I feel like we would get along great, I can’t imagine either of us could parse out what the hell the other was saying
Personal experience with that issue says that my mind's like, "oh, you could use this word here, or this word, or this word, OR you could move that OTHER word over here and use THIS word, instead!", and instead, I spoonerize words together or just kinda end up making a noise. I mean, it's frustrating, but clearly, it can be endearing in the right person. Hell, if Brad wasn't already among the cutest men on the planet, this would surely lift him onto the podium.
Apparently he stumbles over his words because he trying REALLY hard not to curse

My all time favorite edit is Brad having that circular thought about the basket and the editor summarizing it on the side. Really eye opening as someone who rants about something that could be summarized in one sentence.
