That "flute" sound or whatever it is in Mario songs is always a tearjerker. Like in Mario 64's file select or a lot of the music in the first Paper Mario.
Middle school for me. I had a store near me that still sold n64 games and hopped on the chance to buy Mario Tennis and Star Wars Rogue Squadron. It was worth it. Plus my computer refused to emulate star wars for some reason.
Amazing theme, I just discovered it with the Nintendo Switch. I love it, is so peaceful, it reminds me a lot of Golden Sun, that strong essence of Motoi Sakuraba that flows around it is noticeable.
That game Mario tennis is fun for me to play because l choose daisy, peach, and all the characters that l played are fun to use, the sounds the racket hitting the ball is amazing , & the theme sounds are fun to hear like the lob, topspin, flat, slice, and drop shot.
The game I was first introduced to Daisy and my brother quickly claimed her as his character because I had already claimed Peach lol. We would always fight over her!

I think it's a panpipe or pan flute
I hear a harmonica in this too really nostalgic sounding tune
Ahhhh.
Such a peaceful song for a game that can break friendships just because you won all the games 40-0.
Nice 😅😅
Lmao!!!😂😂😂
Perfect. The good old days of junior high. Totally miss those days.
dawedoors Kindergarten for me lol.

Those times Will never come back
I wasn't born in the times you were, but I miss middle school regardless
Uh.. yeah.. the good old days. At least in terms of gaming it was fun.
The staple of what set the standard of composing, the true embodiment and flagship of video game music.
YIS
I love the bass in this
Calvers06 I know right??! Barely even noticed it on the system coming out of the tv back in the day
Possibly the most overlooked multiplayer game of all time. 4 friends on this game is Mario Party/Smash Bro’s level fun
Gosh dangit.......you sometimes forget how amazing music was back in the day for gaming. This brings back so many feels
Amazing song! Totally overlooked!

I would leave it on the sound test and let this play while I did homework. Just so soothing
The debut of our tall possibly anorexic or just lanky man in purple and black and meme lord of fabulousness
I think about this melody so much
Last time i played mario tennis was inside a bar in japan, the whole club was watching and cheering us play lol
Memories playing this with my brother back in the 2000, good times...
Childhood...
I miss my N64! :'(
Whoa, that beginning sounds like Ace's menu theme!
I miss this game so much
You can play it again on Switch now!
@@Leppa10 I know when I heard about that I literally screamed for joy
Y'all already know Luigi was my pick
He's always mine too :D
When I suspend the thought that this is from Mario Tennis.. I start thinking of Golden Sun.
I kinda wish Isaac was a guest tennis player.
Just because this was composed by Motoi Sakuraba
The same man who composed Mario Power Tennis' soundtrack
Well luckily for you, Camelot did help make Mario Tennis.
I'm pretty sure a part of this song actually literally exists in Golden Sun's soundtrack in one of it's songs
I LOVED this game! Always picked Paratroopa.
Nah. Always Luigi, won over 45$ for sure with him.
Always used Luigi
Paratroopa is my 2nd pick. 1st is Boo
I’m watching a tennis championship on tv and I’m bored and listing to Mario tennis music and this makes it more exciting for me
Beautiful sounds
I also really missed Luigi's voice too. Nintendo screwed him over a lot those bastards
It was Charles Martinet.
Now he give girly poses of afraid and some screams, disgusting!!
Mario and Friends serve up another ace
WHAT A GREAT MOTTO 🙄
atleast it's spelled correctly
I'm sensing sarcasm in this comment
This baseline is wicked fresh
Good old day

I once wrote a letter to a tennis player that I considered mario tennis experience. And she laughed. 😅

Those flute and harmonica soundfonts sound suspiciously close to the ones from Plok lol, probably came from a soundfont library or something
Oh man I've never heard the N64 version. I only owned the GBC one, this feels so weird but pleasant to hear.
"HERE WE GO!!!"
Waluigi first appearance
Dick Dastardly 😆
Esse é o meu favorito tema do jogo, e os outros reclamando de que Nintendo 64 é ruim, pelo contrário, subestimado!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
I lvoe this game I always picked yoshi Becuse he’s my favorite character .
Mario tennis!! Woohoo!
The game I was first introduced to Daisy and my brother quickly claimed her as his character because I had already claimed Peach lol. We would always fight over her!
I challenge anyone on this planet if i have luigi.... Nuff said!!!!!
I play this game with my friends from 2013 or 2014 cause there dad had n64
Curse you, nostalgia-inducing harmonicas! Gahhhh the goosebumps.
The first other mario game then sm64 i’ve played on N64
Benjamin
Sounds like when you're in love with a girl and a montage plays of you two having a good time...
Dick Dastardly makes his debut!
OGs reside here
Me before playing badminton with my friends
It was a simpler time
Kids these days just don't know
I do to a degree (even though I’m 19, going on 20)
