- If y’all keep up with these, you’ll see the live I did on how I tore my bicep tendon off the bone about a month ago. I had surgery to reattach it Thursday, and now we’re unwrapping it to clean the stitches, then Hannah will wrap it back up for me!

I had bicep reattachment, after a complete collapse, on a 3 day break. No pain meds, no extra days off. Never had a wrap that big. Wish you a great recovery.

I wish you a speedy recovery Mr. Barron. I tore my bicep tendon 2 years ago. Fortunately, it is an injury that heals fast and is better than new when done. Be well. Great content, keep up the good work.
I hope for a speedy recovery, you sure raised one heck of a a fine young lady.Hannah rules !
Glad your surgery went well, Jeff, and that you’ve got that step behind you now.
Here’s to quick healing and complete rehab!
When you’re an active person, and have a surgery, it changes how we do things. I know it’s frustrating but anytime we push ourselves, we wind up doing more harm than good. Learned my lesson well.
Hoping for a speedy recovery...👍🇺🇸
May God Bless you with a speedy and safe recovery! I’m glad you came through surgery alright!
Hannah you have your hands full with Jeff following doctors orders 😂
Praying for you and Hannah jJeff , yall good folk , in a crazy world, you sure bring a smile to this old Disabled Vets face MUCH LOVE AND THANKS

Looks like your in good hands with nurse Hannah! Wishing you a speedy recovery from Louisiana
Appreciate y'all glad to know your surgery went well God bless you and your family
Jeff is a remarkable man. Hard headed and stubborn sez Hannah. Good as gold.
The blood in the pads is .. somewhat sanitary, because thats a function of blood out of the body. It clots up and builds a layer of protection. Also it has taken on some iodine from around the wounds from the operation. So its steril, you can leave it on there up to 2 weeks (if the outer layers are kept clean). But after 3 days it can take up some fresh air, wound is mostly closed at that point, just put no tension on the wound. Just watch out for necrosis on the stitches and bleeding.
Sounds like you know what you're talking about.
@@austinpresley6187 Well, due to many operations i had in my life (nothing major, but many minor) thats what i took away from it, from doctors, nurses etc. But by no means, i am not a medical professional. Listen to them, preferably from someone close to you (family etc.).Thats how i treated my wounds with stitches. And one time i didn't and got necrosis (worst place: on my scalp). Still have a 2cm deep scar there. After 5 years.
The two coolest cats on the internet.
Prayers for a full and speedy recovery!🙏
I had the same thing on my left arm too in 2019. Do the rehab and you'll be good to go. Took me 9 months but I'm as good as ever. Hope you healed great.
Glad everythings comin along good for ya jeff. Youll be back to normalcy before ya know it. Good luck with recovery and thanks for the update. Get well soon.
Glad everything went good. I know it's going to be difficult but stay inside in the air condition & just try to relax in your recovery.
Been there myself. Distal tendon repair surgery nearly 3.5 yrs ago. (I wholeheartedly agree with the stubborn part)! But I did everything that the doctor and the physical therapist said to do. The strength will come back. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Godspeed Jeff !! I’ve been checking both channels to try to get an update and lucked across this just now !! Keep it clean so you don’t get an infection!! Wash around the stitches now on the stitches!!
Then keep the damn thing covered lol You’re more hardheaded than I am !! And I’m a stubborn sob !!
Glad Jeff came through the surgery fine was praying for him and y’all!!!
Jeff, that thing looks really good. Glad you’re doing so well. Take good care of him Hannah!
Great to see your getting better Jeff, and Kudos to Hannah for taking care of Dear old Dad! I was rough on myself growing up....multiple stitches, broken bones , several concussions, and some industrial accidents in my late teens, it all adds up! So take care, but don't stop living for the moment!!!
Get well Jeff love the vids you did a great job raising your kids it’s awesome that they enjoy the outdoors as much as you
New to your channel Jeff, wishing you a speedy and complete recovery!
Yikes.. Glad to see your dad is recovering from his bicep tear, Hannah! Glad bless y’all and thank you for the videos!!

Hey y’all I’ve been there before!!! Same arm. Feel your pain and I’m glad you are feeling well. Your scar looks a lot better than mine!!! Mine happened picking up 4x8 sheet of 1.5” delron cutting board material.
Glad the surgery went well and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Hey Jeff I hope your doin well and recover fast, Love your videos man keep it up and stay safe with that arm.

Good luck Jeff. Take it easy with the arm for a bit and you will be good to go.
Hope you heal fast. Wishing you and your daughter all the best
Godspeed on your recovery Jeff! (Still laughing about duct taping the arm to the forehead...hahahah!)
Hannah is beyond description. Words are inadequate. Preciate ya’ll.
Mr. Barron, I do pray your arm is doing well and good. I'm a fan of yours and your daughter. Here in north Carolina we also go cat fishing in lake Hickory. Thanks for sharing your life and times with us that watch your channel. Outstanding job sir.
I can just imagine the relief from just taking all those bandages and padding off! Good luck with the healing - take it slow. I imagine you’re just like my dad, though. You’ll be using that arm in no time at all!
I wish I had 10% of your energy Jeff. Get well soon 👍
Prayers for a full recovery.
Thanks for the update , been kinda worried about y'all . Take it easy with that arm , I know from my own experience that if they hafta go back in and fix it a second time , it's gonna be more painful and take a lot longer to heal , preciate y'all !
Doc Hannah on the job. In that heat I suspect a little air would do it some good. Glad to see you are all done and on your way to recovery.
Hay there Jeff, Just want to say that looks dang good considering how bad it could have been. I tore mine up 9 yrs ago at work. The so called Doctor who did mine screwed it all up. its been 9 yrs i have had one addition surgery and two more coming up because of it. lost 75% use of my right arm. Thank God for my son and daughter who became my right arm when this all happened. Your blessed to have Hannah there you need to let her help you so you can completely recover and go on to keep living the life you enjoy. God Bless you and your family and keep on keepin on.
"Doctor said not to take it off. So we're gonna take it off." You stubborn son of a gun, lol! Hope you have a speedy recovery, Jeff!
You are awesome Jeff, glad your doing good buddy. Hannah you cool too, take care and god bless you guys
Glad the surgery went well!! Follow ur DR's and Hannah's instructions!! Common sense supports redressing and keeping the area as dry as possible. That should speed healing and prevent infection.
wishing you a speedy recovery my friend
Best of luck Jeff on your recovery....listen to your Physical Therapist! Destroyed both shoulders over the years while in the military, but it wasn't till I had a bad fall, and dislocated my bicep tendon that I had both shoulders taken care of....Rotator cup and labrum on both repaired (8 months between shoulders) and because of the surgery, my Physical Therapist, and joining the gym, I'm stronger now that I was 20 years ago.
Bless your Daddy. He always getting hurt. Y'all both remind me of me and my Daddy. From New Hope,Alabama in Madison County we enjoy Y'all so much. Appreciate Yall😉✌in🇺🇸
Glad to see you got your arm fixed!!! We watch u from Oregon!!
Following Dr’s orders can be a bit tedious, lucky for you there’s a nurse in the house! Glad your on the mend. Thanks for sharing your journey. Mike
Your pops is one cool and tough man. I can definitely relate to this. Although Iam athletic at 6-1 208. 6 years ago. I went down on black ice. Massive torn up shoulder. They put 3 dissolvable screws in left shoulder. 7 months of PT. Like your dad, the blood also settled from the tricep to my wrist. I love your shows. Y’all are the ( best ) !!!! 👍👍
Good job nurse Hannah taken care of daddy. Appreciate yall!
I've been wondering about this so thanks for the video hope you have a speedy recovery bad bruising
glad surgery went well, you'll be back in action in no time!
Glad to see you had the surgery and are on the mend. I would be like you and have to unwrap it but that being said be very careful about getting it infected. It looks liked they really bulked it up with padding so be careful about bumping it too. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery!
Get well soon Jeff preciate you and Hannah!!❤😎
I always found out that a wound or bad cut will heal faster in fresh air but keep it clean. I am so glad it went well for you Jeff.
Your shirt is right. I ain't no cowboy. I tore mine in January & it gives me chills watching you move your arm like that.
Howdy, Doing a great job taking care of your arm 👍 Hope it heals up soon and you keep the movement limited until then
Looking good Jeff, be safe bro. Best wishes from New Zealand.
Have a good recovery sir
Jeff, I totally understand your discomfort with the bandaging and all. I had wrist reconstruction surgery and the ulna shortened and a plate installed. I was bandaged like that for what seemed like months and it was miserable. Heat and humidity aren't kind to bandages and all. I'm in NW Arkansas and it's 103* today and the humidity is like down there. Just standing brings on a flood of sweat! I feel for you. Best of luck healing and try no to do any damage before you get healed. Let Hannah do the fishing and you take pictures for a while.Don't need any infection.
Just be careful in whatever you do Jeff, you’ve got a one in a million daughter there my friend.
Hey, Jeff: You be darn careful you don't get that infected, and keep it immobile so you don't stretch your stitches. I keep you in my prayers so you get healed up. You had a good nurse helping you!!!
ITCHIN IS HEALIN TAKE CARE OF YA SELF BROTHER , LOVE TO WATCH THE STUFF YA DO
Looks good, I don't need to say take it easy, cause I am hard headed so just do what you can, but safer.
Jeff I sure will pray for you a speedy recovery
Best of luck and quick healing !
Mr. Jeff take care of that arm. You are in my prayers. God Bless Us All.
Love watching you and your daughter video . I wish someone would bring back the newland fishing tournaments I used to watch on TV
Glad to see surgery went well but make sure you listen to that daughter of your’s, she’s a good one!! You listen to the doc n Hannah n you’ll be ready for deer season. Take care buddy.
Hope for a speedy recovery. Please take her easy and don't over exert that arm.Hannah needs you back to par.😇😊😉
When I had mine done 4 years ago, I went in the next day for a check up, then 4 days after that, then 7 days after that. WOW, 10 days for you ? Good luck with the recovery.
Thanks Jeff Good Luck and God Bless you
Get better soon. I may not hunt/fish or anything but I do learn much from watching you guys

Glad you see back in action brother Jeff!!
Get well jeff have a good rehab you do push your body to the limits but thats you how you're made cheers mate from australia
I know exactly what you are talking about , I had a clutch on a 800 arctic cat snowmobile blow up & a piece went through just below my knee , got it fixed & they wrapped it up all pretty but the next day it hurt to walk and my.hide was pushed out over & under the wrapping! So I cut it off & had the big pad over the stiches was stuck to it and dried and was rubbing on the stiches! I cleaned it & put several big bandaids on , felt like a million bucks after that !!!!! :-)
You hang in there Jeff. You'll be alright. Everyone knows your one tough S.O.B. 👍😉
Glad the surgery went well Jeff! Been wondering where you and Hannah have been. But, don’t try any catfish wrasslin’ ‘til those tendons heal and your range of motion returns to normal.👍
