Noticed the oversteer at 1:15 Are you still running the fortune autos? Great lap times and clean ef! I'm building an ef currently for willow and hope to have it ready by next spring. Love your build page. Got a lot of my inspiration from it. Many thanks!
MotoIQ thank you very much. I’m going to start preparing my 90 Civic hatch that I’ve owned for 18 years for the track. The cars been I. The garage for ten years but I’ve finally decided to finish it. This article will definitely help.
@@motoiq Link is no longer valid. Is this a D series engine or was it swapped? I have a chance to grab a 91 DX hatch for cheap, but it needs work and I wasn't originally looked at hatches.
ED7 owner here. While your statement is technically correct, it is pedantic. Since Honda chose to give every single variant of this body style, a separate designation, it creates a problem for owners who want to describe this type of Civic as a whole. For almost 30 years now, owners of this body style have referred to it by its Japanese name, "EF," to stand for this body style of Civic. Perhaps more importantly, it is the name that has stuck. Everyone knows what one is speaking of, when hearing, "EF." The same would not be true, if one said, "ED6." Many in the community know perfectly well, that they are driving ED, EE, or what have you, but use, "EF," because it is both well known and easy. Personally, I use ED7 to refer to N.American Si cars, and EF to refer to all cars of this shape. To the OP: you keep calling it an, "EF." True blue lovers of this car will know what you mean.
Nice comeback! That hatch is dialed in
