It’s subscribed. The bike is impeccable maintained. I like to see when people take good care of these machines. The new bikes are very attractive with all the tech they’ve incorporated but in reality it’s a steal, what they’re asking in a trade off, but since when it wasn’t ? The new GS and GSA have more power and more torque, yes. But do we need it so much? In certain low and medium revs I still prefer the 1250cc engine. It pulls promptly with two people on the bike and luggage, like a train. The 1300 GS doesn’t make a massive difference. BMW asks too much money for a few little increments. Even aesthetically, your bike doesn’t look dated. At least to me. And those boxes are spacious and easy to handle. The triple black color option is also a good choice, it will endure a lot and will be always in fashion 👌🏻
Thank you for showing us your bike. In general you have perfected the bike with the extra gear to make it better and functional. Love that mirrors too.
I hope you do many more miles with it. Take care! 👍🏻

    Hi fella,
Loved the video and how passionate you are about your bike. I bought a 2019 GS Exclusive in the summer. I sold my Honda NT1100 to enable me to buy the BM. What a great decision that was! No comparison, the BM is amazing. I had a 2015 RT before the Honda and thought that was a good bike but much prefer the GS! Mine came with the vario top box and I've put an Oxford tank bag on for £70.
Just bought brand new vario panniers from Bowker Motorrad, £607 delivered! What a result, and like you I'm looking to get the silver ali panels covered, probably with decals. Local wrapper wanted £90 per pannier to wrap in plain black, too expensive for me.
Anyway, I will be keeping this bike until I can no longer ride, enjoy bro❤

A friend of mine has a 2020 BMW R1250GS like mine but immaculate in the Rally colours with Gold wheels. It’s got 16,000 miles on it and a well known BMW dealership (can’t say on here) refused to take it off him in part X for a new bike telling him the mileage was too high! Unbelievable. Looking good mate I love mine my first BMW GSA 1250 new this year. I agree the prices of the new ones with the extras are expensive. There has been a few BMW dealerships gone bust this year and pidcocks were I bought mine from together with there Ducati and Triumph dealership have gone bust. Makes you wonder if it’s because they are getting so expensive the new ones. The new GS many say it’s more sporty so it is not has comfortable has the old style. But the New GSA is more off a touring bike with a strengthen rear sup frame for carrying more weight and the seating position is more comfortable with your knees not has bent. Better bike for long distance touring. The main mechanic from pidcocks has set up on is own specialising in BMW servicing think he is base in long Eaton. But only if your bike has run out of warranty. 👍 have you thought of a Chigee mate my wife loved being on the back for two up touring it’s brilliant 👍

Great comments buddy. Thank you so much for watching. I heard someone had purchased the bike part of Pidcocks but maybe that’s incorrect?
Thanks for the update on the new bikes, I’m a bit late to the party with the GS as much bigger channels have done the reviews to death but I’ll have a crack at it anyway.
I totally agree that most of these new bikes are now becoming so expensive, across all manufacturers. It’s got to be having a massive impact on new bike sales.
If I could afford a new GS/GSA I’d wait another 12 months because as we know BMW are lazy and let the buyer trial and test and then recall when all the faults/complaints are made by us. Usually good to buy after 18 months when all the faults have been corrected. 👍🏻👍🏻

I had a 2020 factory lowered 1250 GS TE Exclusive that cost me £16.5k brand new in March 2020. It was a great bike but as you say the elephant in the room last year for me was the cost of the replacement at well north of £20k so the cost to change was eye watering and like you not a price I was willing to pay. I've now got a 1250RS SE and with the tubular bars and a few factory extras it cost me less than £3k to change. It's not a GS but definitely has the "family" DNA and I actually prefer it. You could try the RS and R as a potential change before they ditch the 1250 engine and see what you think😉 plus of course as it's an established model you avoid the beta teething problems!
