Thanks a lot Robert, for your thoughts and insights. At the moment i'm comparing this reel with the new Hardy ultradisc cassette reel. A difference of 30 euros, not so much. I want to use it for carp and seatrout, maybe for bass too, on the dutch rivers. Hardy has quite some experience making cassette reels, but i don't like the fact that the aluminum housing isn't closed totally around the cassette. Above that i heard questionable things about the service since Hardy was overtaken. Have you already been fishing with thr reel? I'm curious 😊 Tight lines!
Wim, thanks for watching ! You can't go wrong with both reels. They are very well designed and have a very proven cassette change system. I think the build quality of the Hardy is a tad better than the Vision. I am not a huge fan of the foam turning handle of the Stillmaniac. Hardy does it imho better with a aluminium one. So the choice is up to you ! With kind regards, Robert

Thanks for watching. Flyfishing is quite popular in Japan.
