    Dude those weren't sausages :)). They are "mici" and they are absolutely delicious with mustard. You probably expected sausages and that's why you didn't like it

    • @cristinacalniciuc7468

      That's what I was thinking :)) if you expect sausages and get mici.. well, they make you sick. You should have been told that mici are minced meat, some sort of original grilled meatballs that look like sausages. 😜
      And by the way, loved your vlogs on Romania! ❤️ Congrats!

    ...Christian ...you were asking "why am i doing these?" with only 3 hours of sleep so that you can share and upload your experiences for the day...because you owe it to yourself...you found your calling...your passion aka suffering...becoming true to yourself...choosing courage over comfort...uncertainty over certainty...sharing to us the simple pleasures in life you encountered on the road less traveled... and putting a smile on our face... you are now in the hearts of millions of people especially to your loyal followers including me..you are now evolving into a world class travel vlogger ...and fostering greater understanding among the people and thereby creating a better world... we are very grateful...So let us support Christian in his journey because it is also our journey...Kudos...-from the Philippines

    The food you guys had - 'mici' - is the most popular street-food type barbecued thing here in Romania. It's actually minced meat, not a sausage. In restaurants they make them bigger but they're usually half that size and sooo much better tasting in other places. Brasov isn't the best place for mici, you should try it in southern cities in places with outdoor grills; not so healthy but they taste the best there!
    In other words, Brasov is too fancy for mici xD Have a good time if you're still here! Check out Sibiu&Cluj if you haven't already

    Hey glad you're goingee Outside of the Bran castle you absolutely must try Langos and Kurtos Kalacs which are very authentic. If you have time and can rent a car, driving up the Transfogarasan Hwy over the Carpathian mountains is the most amazing scenery and probably the most memorable drives you'll ever have. There's also a little village up top. Good Luck

    What you ate and didn't like, those 'sausages' are called mici (or mititei which means small or little) and they are Romanian grilled minced meat rolls. They are supposed to be soft and you can eat it with mustard or garlic. It's Romanian BBQ xD They are really popular along with sarmale (there's no translation for this but they are sour cabbage stuffed with pork and beef and little bit of bacon and you can eat it with bread but the traditional way to eat it is with mamaliga (I guess you can also call it polenta...or more like Romanian polenta since it's not really the same) and topped with smantana (which is cream..like yogurt I guess but it's a different taste, not the sweet taste yogurt has). It's really hard to explain......

  • @chris200830
    @chris200830 7 років тому +1

    It's a long time since you posted this video but I'm just gonna say it. The food you ate was a type of Romanian junk food. Even us, Romanians, don't eat it very often due to it being unhealthy. Only at parties and stuff like that. Traditional Romanian food consists of: ciorba, sarmale, varza calita, mamaliga (polenta) and so on. I went to Brasov in June this year and me and my family ate in the old square (Piata Muncii) some really good traditional food. If I had seen these videos before, I would've recommended it to you, but it was a bit pricey.

    no ! that an urban myth what the guy was saying about the origin of the "OK". Most probably it came from "all correct" through german or dutch language. ol korekt. Also, "fvck" is not fornication under kings consent. it comes from latin facere or facunt or similar forms and it means "to do [it]".
