Im glad this was scrapped, the new one is just way better.
Idk, I've been waiting for this version, and listening to it, it's pretty good for me. The song is more tense and dark than in the final version.
But what we got in the end from the three composers is also great.

My only issue with this version is that M suddenly does Bowser's 64 laugh,which is very unfitting.
I have the very first version of its a me v2 by nova and the laugh is different from this one

The song isn't too bad, but it doesn't feels like we are fighting to the king of Mario creepypastas.
One of my favorite versions of It's A Me by Nova lol the current is still my favorite along with novas version.

I think the newer version does a slightly better job because of how intense it is, but this version isn’t bad. Shame it was cut.
Well, Nova64 was outed as being a transphobe and xenophobe to a pretty intense degree, and he also leaked a build of the mod, so it makes sense why he was kicked and his content scrapped.

I knew what happened to Nova64. He left due to Marco Antonio on to the long time period of finishing the mod update and he went Homophobe McShittypants. Then he got cancelled over leaking a Mario's Madness V2 build. Luckily, It's A Me, Powerdown were 10x creepier.
He was kicked out bc he was homophobic and the team secretly remade the songs nova did when nova found out he went and leaked the build

I Prefer this Version! Unfortunately This Song Version is Old Nowadays!
I prefer the first version, because the first song of of mod DOESN'T need to be supper intense. Not only that, the slow pace of it makes the presence of Mario.exe all the more creepy. Maybe 90% of the community won't see it like I do and say it's lame and it does make me sad but it's only my own opinion.
This was due to controversy surrounding Nova64 which is why all of his songs were alter.

Yeah I don't see why people call this version bad. Sure, some of Nova's songs were trash (cough cough, Last Course), but It's A Me is not bad at all, just a bit boring. Another example of this is Alone. I didn't think Nova's Alone was absolute garbage like everyone says it is. I actually really liked it. Both replacements for It's A Me and Alone were both better than Nova's songs but these old ones were not bad. I don't think anyone's calling old False Hero in Powerdown bad though.
