In terms of graphics, I want and hope it to be pretty maxed out of what it can be so we get this stunning experience every second of gameplay. While I play some Unreal engine 5 games now I just watch and enjoy the environment a lot.
@@alexhein1738 honestly if it is I’ll 100% take it. As how fast you can drive, flight, dense cities, and other things in a more modern setting will be so mf impressive with something like RDR2s graphics

The current gen consoles are going to hold GTA 6 back, they designed the game around 2018 era hardware equivalent to a RTX 2070. I'm crossing my fingers they're going to do the PC release right and add all the latest tech like DLSS 3.5/frame gen and path tracing.
I would strongly argue against your thesis regarding raytracing- the issue with basically all of currently RTX enabled games is that raytracing was introduced into the engine in later stages as an "enhancement" (as you said), instead of building everything around it. if they took proper approach I believe that story, animation, mechanics are being developed and "shown" using existing rendering engine, while they develop from scratch new raytrace enabled engine. if that is the case, we will probably see 2 executable files as- my guess is- old consoles and non rtx PCs are going to be supported. :)
This had better not be a fucking PS4 game. I know they're going to do it. It's a 2 billion dollar game, they have to sell as many copies as possible. It's just "good business", and we all know who's behind the steering wheel at Take2 Interactive.
They are tested GTA6 on nvidia geforce gtx 1080. You can see it in some of the leaks. And it runned pretty well. You should talk about theese things in a video
Tons of textures and models were missing so it's not a clear indicator of how the performance might actually be. The game hadn't been optimized and was running on a debug version, so it might even run better after all.
You cant really say alot from the leaks, graphics are always pushed back to be the last things worked on since mechanics and gameplay and such are so much more important. The game will also be well optimized ofc, but it will have insane graphics for sure, and will definetly be a next gen only game
honestly, I couldnt complain about too much except for lack of map size and an extension to the story mode. I'm sure the graphics will be top notch now that its been a decade, but I need something to keep me engaged after the main story is completed. Thats why some of us turned to online play for the extra missions/hustles to beat. Sure I would still like to fudge around online for the next release, but if you just made it an endless quest of gta missions I would be tickled pink.
You know that when you BF tells you that size doesn't matter, he's lying.. right? GTA V is close to perfect since there is no point in having 100 km2 with f**k all. I've played plenty of games with huge maps (DayZ, ArmA 3 e t c) and I rather have the GTA V size where you have stuff going on than km after km with just fillers.
Seeing as rdr2 was 5 years after gta5 and that game is a massive improvement, expect gta6 to be an even bigger improvement on rdr2 with a 6 year gap and all the recent improvements with technology such as AI
The graphical leap from gta San Andreas to gta 4 is still mind blowing!! I remember playing gta 4 for the first time as a kid after playing San Andreas for years and it was just crazy to see the differences! I recently just got a ps3 again and am playing gta 4 and the story is so good!! The game still holds up really well imo!
It's been so long now, and I've spent thousands of hours watching GTA 6 theories, leaks and info videos since 2015. GTA 6 has started to feel like a fairy tail almost, when the trailers start dropping it's gonna feel completely unreal. And I still can't grasp the fact that in the semi near future everyone will be playing it. It feels so unreal to think about as it still feels like we will just never get the game.
The thing I am the most concerned about is the overall realism of gameplay. RDR2 is IMO one of the most realistic games, both in terms of graphics and in terms of gameplay. But, because of the gameplay realism, I found myself having a hard time finding real fun like I had in GTA V. I just hope they will keep GTA VI a little bit arcade, so we can have fun just as easily as in GTA V
You are forgetting one big factor here... We are reaching graphical plateau when it comes to rendering actual video game (not talking about realistic trailers and shit), todays games all look the same with minor variations when it comes to graphics and physics... and Rockstar lives under same rules... back in days there was plenty of room to improve graphically, today, not so much. But we will see.
@@MrKW420 if anyone can make a better looking game than Ubisoft, it’s Rockstar. RDR2 came out 5 years ago and the graphics and level of detail still holds up
@@NaturalHigh21 obviously its rockstar, but theese two aren't here to compare, rockstar is a world class game studio while ubisoft is just copy pasta of their games lol, but still. Their games do look very pretty. I loved the vibe of AC Origins, it was special in its own way.
Let's also mention something. I play on a Xbox One S, which is considered a last gen console now. It's the second console in the Xbox One series of consoles in which minor improvements were made to the first Xbox One. Now, because I still play on said last gen console, you can expect I get around 20-30 FPS on games configured for the Xbox One series. So with this in mind, let me bring up Red Dead Redemption 2. I play this game a lot and have been doing so pretty frequently recently. One thing I've notice and have been pointing out for years is that my last generation console, a Xbox One S, can handle RDR2 graphics with ease. I get 30-35 FPS on average and have never (to my memory) experienced game lag. I've only experienced game crashes that came with one of the newer updates, which has since been fixed. Now, with the fact that a last gen console can keep up with RDR2 graphics (which are still considered stunning) and have little to no error AND that newer gen consoles can handle GTAO E&E at 60FPS with ease, this should say that the newest consoles, the Xbox Series X and PS5 Pro will be able to handle GTA6 graphics with a minimum of 30FPS. And I'm also sure that Rcokstar will consider things to make GTA6 a good performing game on the latest consoles.
I have confidence in RS ability to improve the graphics. I'm more worried about the story, it's length and depth of it. The in your face parody of anything and everything without caring who they offend, types of missions and the number of mini games they'll have.
@Juan_Rico_2132 ahhh damn it I know right. As a GTA fan from the original PlayStation days, I've played almost every one, except for the handheld ones, and the Stories series, wish I had not with the latter. I'd be very let down and disappointed if R* just does it like with GTA V. It was a good game, but to be real, it was a shell of it's former glory, the cracks were beginning to show. The story was flat and lacked depth, many loose ends which really were unnecessary. The graphics were on par, but it wasn't the same. Now I see why, many things were left to be useless after the storyline, so it could be pimped out through online. Forgive my rant but I just hope it's not another Saints Row, or even like the new AC Mirage(I knowit isn't a R* game)
@@urstillaklown0843 GTA V really hits its stride with the side stories. These are often better than the main plot and vastly more interesting than any side stories in IV. I love them so much.
For those who are curious. Everytime they release a new GTA Original Series game, they start working immediately on the next. Same with the Battlefield and Call of Duty Franchise...
A small detail that i'd like to see is heavy realism on the cars, rust and wear and tear over time and an incentive to maintain them via pay n spray.. kinda like horse balls shrinking in cold weather in RDR2😂 Making your personal car (of choice) useable throughout the story missions would be a must
Honestly I am not worried at all to say gta 5 came out 10 years ago and the graphics are almost the same as if not better than some games released this year is actually insane. GTA 5 has such nice reflections on cars, puddles etc you would’ve thought it has raytracing. I’ve just bought the new Spider-Man game and gta 5 looks almost as good as that if not better when it comes to reflections on puddles etc and it’s 10 years older… I ain’t worried about gta 6 graphics at all
Scientific evidence raytracing is pointless in videogames, people are really willing to half their framerates for an effect you can barely notice? If the prospect of enabling raytracing sounds stupid, you'd be glad to know the algorithm itself is also monkey brain. It just continually tries different ray lengths until it gets one 'close enough' with the reflective surface, to calculate the reflected angle of the next ray to send forth - it is a brute force means of solving the problem that has been effectively modeled through rasterized techniques for decades now, orders of magnitude faster.
@@locinolacolino1302 And yet, you can still see many people going with the hype of "OMG it has RTX!!! Best graphics ever!!" as if it were something groundbreaking lol.

Rockstar always goes all out with graphics on their signature game series. I thought GTA 3 looked better than San Andreas when it came to characters but San andreas world was pushed to the limit. GTA 4 was the best graphics until GTA 5. I look for graphics and it seems games didnt all start looking good until after ps3
I am sure GTA6 will be a masterpiece, but I am worried because not everyone who wants this game has the equipment to play it, because let's be real - this high-end computers and consoles are very, very expensive
They picked vice city for the new map because vice city is small and part of the map will probably be cut “for more realistic graphics” just like in gta 5, in which they removed LV and SF and then moved mt chiliad to LS
GTA 5 was very disappointing. The San Andreas is a far superior game in terms of the environment diversity, story progression, character development, things you can do... I don't care about ground breaking graphics. Bring San Andreas back.
@@FreeLiverBird11 I totally agree with that. It is nice to have good graphics, but let's be honest, GTA V graphics with killer story, content, gameplay, mechanics, physics, options, sidequests and mini games would be a fantastic game. I am completly sure that Gta vi trailer will release between end of October and beginning of November and actual game will release in 2025 because gta v was too release after the 2 yr of first teaser or trailer.
RT just needs basic implementation. The thing is, rockstar releases their games on consoles first. GTA VI will not feature RT, even when it eventually releases on pc. Rockstar Games don't need RT. They don't use SSR for reflections, they use cube mapped reflections. RT shadows are worse than high res shadow maps, and the lighting in RDR 2 is absolutely breathtaking without any RT. The reason you see a big change with RT in some video games is because they look bad. This is a fact. Take AW2 for example. RT and PT barely make a change. Also, devs don't fully utilize RT because the games would run horribly bad. RT GI is just normal GI with more information provided by the traces of light. The thing is, reflections worked for GTA V because it looked bad and they were able to render the same scene twice. Once in the mirror like surface and once in the actual environment that your character is in. This won't work for GTA VI. Imagine rendering GTA VI twice just for some mirror reflections. The problem with this is that RT mirrors look bad. I'm really curious how that will play out.

I don’t want to hear that 10 years making this game the graphics should be good. They should be no glitches. This game should be perfect. Making us wait this long.
I so badly want them to improve the traffic AI. There were to many mindless AI drivers on the road that makes driving around the city a chore. :)

Yea but I don’t think the graphics were finished
Tons of textures and models were missing so it's not a clear indicator of how the performance might actually be. The game hadn't been optimized and was running on a debug version, so it might even run better after all.
@@MessiTheGoat10Argentinayou can always improve graphic in game so dont worry, will be better than rdr 2, rockstar always goes step ahead

Tbh I saw the leaks "behind walking animation physics" and I'm not worried
honestly, I couldnt complain about too much except for lack of map size and an extension to the story mode. I'm sure the graphics will be top notch now that its been a decade, but I need something to keep me engaged after the main story is completed. Thats why some of us turned to online play for the extra missions/hustles to beat.

Trailer is beginning of December, close enough.
Keep up the good work
