Hate my opinion or not, but the the loading screen for character switching was so creative and well excecuted. Just this jump into the sky and fading into the action of another character feels so right

@@atomicshrimpFT So true all the cutscenes you get from just switching to another character is pretty cool like Trevor would be riding on a scooter calling somebody his scooter brother then when you switch to Michael it would be something completely different
the thing is, we dont even know if its 100% gonna be instant, in gta 5 if you stood next to each other you could switch in an instant and in all the leaked clips (i think 1) where they actually switched charakters they were next to each other in the same room, but rdr2 has had a really good map loading uh thing? like the map would load really really quick for example if you were treveling by train with high speed and that's pretty impressive cause you were never meant to go that fast and the world would just be loaded all the time without frame drops

@@SiegbertSchnoesl Basically this. I don't get why people keep saying "this time it will be instant" when the leaks didn't even show character switching from far away. There's no reason to think it'll be too different from gta 5.

Brother this is the wrong game series for that. Gta has Aliens, bigfoot, worldwide conspiracies, crazy ai, etc.
Once we got to gta vice city the seriousness was gone, and there is an argument to be made for it being barely there in 3.

All i want for GTA6, is for Rockstar to remember us Story Mode players who play offline… like don’t forget to give us Story Mode DLC and new vehicles and weapons etc…
Exactly the whole reason I kept GTA5 every since I bought it in 2016 was because I didn’t mind finishing story mode over and over again because the story is so fun and when your bored you can just do cheats and just being bored running around killing peope doing mods plus gta6 online in 2025 is gonna be unimaginable
Anyone noticed tht 90% of things on the list was available in RDR2. The rdr series is known for being Rockstars playfield for new game mechanics and graphics technology, once they are tested by the market and reveived well they will then be implemented in GTA which is their number one cashcow. Just goes to show how agead of its time RDR2 was, was really lucky to be able to experience it.
For me, Gta needs a lot more stuff you can spend your money on, like extra features for your houses etc.

Money needs to be a resource instead of something you just collect to buy clothes or guns.
All I want for GTA VI to be a complete experience is the variety and features of the 3D era, the realistic world feel and physics of GTA IV and RDR2, the customization options of V, and the interactivity of RDR2.

And the control responsiveness of the 3D era. I'm so sick of letting go of W and shift and the character sprinting for 2 seconds after. Or when he's turning like a car when I press S and shift instead of turning in place and running like an actual human
Or the animations. Yeah they're cool and kudos to whoever made them but damn do they get in the way of gameplay all the time with how slow they are and if stuff isn't aligned perfectly the character takes extra time to get in the exact position he needs to get into. A game is a game and not a movie because you play it and don't watch it, and GAME-PLAY shouldn't suffer because of any other aspect, if you need to make sacrifices (6 billion earnings from GTA 5 BTW) then they should be made in other aspects in order to enhance gameplay and not the other way around
@@justjoe5373 This 100%. I can't stand characters taking their sweet ass time trying to place themselves in a car. I feel that animation speed and dynamic should change depending on situations. Getting shot by cops - get in car fast, peaceful stroll from store to car - enter normally.

Every new game they have, they took ideas from the last game, and just made it better. I expect a lot of familiar things from RDR2, but much deeper, and more advanced.
We already know it's gonna have a weapon carry limit, and you can only take with you want you can fit instead of having a million weapons at your disposal. Stuff like that.

Honestly just like RDR2 we need gory mechanics for GTA 6, GTA 5 lacked all that, so this time I hope Rockstar brings it back. Also we need more destructive environments to the game too.
Destruction on top of everything else they’re doing is just too much. If they did destruction then it would have to be something like rainbow six siege. There is a reason why red faction guerrilla barely had any buildings with its amazing destruction
Voxels can do destruction, but they look like lego...
But with AI nowadays, who knows? The AI could judge the position / power of an explosion and dynamically change the models to look damaged based on that (also in Driv3r back in the day, if you used powerful military weapons on cars, it would blow them into several parts, lets see some of that!).
The majority of damage you do should be reasonably inconsequential, though. Like you can blow holes in walls / collapse houses, but if you go a little way away and come back, it's magically fixed. Otherwise people would just level the entire map with unlimited ammo cheats, then say the game sucks because there's nothing to do in a wasteland of rubble.

Having more options to silently jack a car would definitely be a good thing. It can get annoying when all your character will do is break a window to get into a car

Realism is why gta looks so bland and boring. It looks like all of the more realistic games back in the day that use to try to compete with gta but lacked its originality and personality. Now it’s one of those typical games that you play through but it doesn’t keep you interested in the story, music, characters, missions, because they put so much more emphasis on graphics that don’t even stand out. GTA looks so dull. Real life is more exciting than modern GTA games.
@@johnwise4341 Eh, to each their own. I think it's more of a quality of writing more than the realism for me. I actually enjoyed GTA 4 and 5's story more than the old school games if imma be honest. But I gotta give it to 4 over 5 since it is more gritty and grounded within reality. 4 seemed like it kinda grew up and had a mature story to tell that offered up interesting commentary about certain topics. We kinda regressed when it came to GTA 5 which is probably why you feel it ultimately feels more bland as a result which I would agree with you.
I think this video adds a whole new layer of strategy and humor to my enthusiasm 😂😂

I quite liked the switching mechanic of zooming out and zoom in to the other character. I hope they keep that as an option and make it take like 3 to 5 seconds tops. It's cool to see where one characters is on the map and the other and not immediately think when you switch like where am I? That would be certainly the case in the first 10 to 20 hours that you play the game and not know every region or street on the map.
Tbh I could maybe see that still happening since we only saw it instantly switch when they were next to each other which also happened in V

Does this game allow one to simulate "car jackings" in a fantasy ? Is this why car jackings are on the increase. People act this stuff out in real life? Why?
I want to see a deep melee system with objects and environmental interaction during combat and finishers. Counter moves will also be awesome. Another game changer will be the ability to use human shields especially during gun fights.

I honestly hope we get a deeper wanted system with more variety and some realism. Such as swat teams using actual swat tactics to take you down, especially if you're in a defensive position. Such as rappeling down building sides and through windows, using shields and flashbangs, tear gas etc. And police to use police dogs on you sometimes.

I want there to be a witness system like in rdr2, like chasing somone to stop calling the cops or break their phones to delete the footage of your crime.
If you fail to catch them, there will be a warrant on your name and police can identify you. It also seems like there will be an identity hiding mechanic as well like in rdr2, as in the trailer you can see that both of them wear masks while robbing the store.
There are three key things that I think will make GTA VI great:
1.) Realism! It needs to have new elements that add a whole new level of realism to the game. Realism will make the game feel more realistic than ever before.
2.) Immersion! New features that contribute to deep immersion is important as well. I really want to be fully immersed in this game.
3.) Strategy! Strategy! Strategy! Various strategic options will create many different scenarios where strategy is key. I really like games that challenge me to develop strategies for each unique scenario.
To summarize:
1.) Realism
2.) Immersion
3.) Strategy
As long as there is an unprecedented level of realism, immersion, and strategy, this will be Rockstar's best game yet.

I know alot of people won't like this but I really hope gas stations are actually put to use. Letting us full up when low on petroleum. It won't be annoying as people might think there will be a feul gauge hub when you enter vicheles it takes a long time before you run out so it won't be a problem just brings more immersion in my opinion

Imagine having to refuel your vehicle periodically, it would definitely discourage griefing.
I'd really like to be able to buy/own trailers that you could pull via a vehicle with a hitch. And the hitch could be added as a customization option.
This is a fantastic addition which will bring more immersion and realism to the game

I would love to see more options for houses or rental properties and the ability to customize these locations. Being able to purchase things like furniture, and change aspects about the homes would be amazing.

This I completely agree with. Casino is the only place gta5 has for custom housing and decorating and I would love to see more options like that.

Another great addition will be to make body armour always visible while you're wearing it. Also the katana and flamethrower should make a comeback. The katana wouldn't cause any controversy imo, we already have a battle axe in GTA Online and there was no controversy because of it. Also katana duels should make a comeback. Katana duels happened in GTA SA between CJ and the Snakehead and in GTA LCS between Toni Cipriani and Kazuki Kasen.
Another great thing we will be able to do for the first time in the GTA franchise is to drive a car.
It would be great if NPC can drive at least a bit faster

I think they should make cars have to stop for gas. I think this will especially help online dealing with griefers. I would also like them to bring back mini games like playing pool at the bar, basketball but this time make it a 1 on 1 match. I would like them to bring back changing fighting styles like on San Andreas I think that would be nice. Of course more interiors like restaurants, grocery stores, malls, safe house etc but not just for aesthetic purposes, there should be a point to go inside, that way there’s replay ability.

I think when it comes to relationships you can date anyone the game will allow you to, including Lucia. I believe Lucia and Jason will end up close together, wether it’s as friends, a couple, or business partners.
Would be cool to have an open relationship or that you can go behind the other persons back and cheat and that will affect your relationship. Just like the good or bad system in RDR2. And that it would take many dates and for example gifts like jewelry, clothes, cars to make it up to the other person. It probably won't happen but I kind of hope for a more immersive family/dating system in this game.
The story of GTA VI is based off of Bonnie and Clyde, so it is highly likely that Lucia and Jason will end up as a couple.
There will probably be same sex relationships. Like men dating men and women dating women

I wonder how all this will play out, considering that there’s more immersive police interactions and also having to watch over your shoulder for other criminals while avoiding wildlife will surely be something I wonder the most about how they’ll handle all of it, hopefully it won’t be too annoying, but it seems like theirs quite an abundance of interactions with AI now, considering the banned from store features, relationships and even clothing appearance being a first judgement how the npcs will react

i think it's still going to be faster though and also look more seamless compared to GTA 5 as GTA 6 is gonna be on the next-gen console (ps5) which loads things like that up really quickly
One 4chan leak said "character switch is interesting this time , the camera instead quickly travels directly to the character" I can visual what they are going for like for ex that scene in fight club where camera travels to the van . Pretty cool stuff 👍

do we know if we will have to actually get gas for cars in Gta 6. I feel like this would be a great feature because it would make the driving experience way more realistic.
It would also mean getting gas all the time or a lot more will be the new normal in the new game too.

Regarding stuff like sickness and realistic police, again, I'm fine with realism, but you need to strike a balance because making things too realistic can suck the fun out of the game.

All these features will likely add a level of depth and realism to the game
a lot of nice additions and features, I think this will add great immersion and depth into the game
I'd love texts similar to "your character does not have the ability to unlock this vehicle type" and physical abilities changing the difficulties in story missions and outcomes.. like less stamina get's you beaten up quicker or something like that. an "interactive friends" part like gta 4 ...
would be nice to see police more active like chasing other people and etc

I've seen the police do that in GTA V all the time.
I should state right here and now that not all of these features as we saw them are 100% confirmed. Yes, they were in the leaks, however that was an early build and Rockstar is known to send things to the Cutting Room Floor on a whim.
Yeah these strategy features will add so much strategy to the game and make the game so much more strategic that using strategy will be pretty strategic in GTA VI, at this point I won't be surprised if GTA VI turns out to be more of a successor to chess than GTA V.
As usual, I plan on spending 99% of my time browsing for loafers and scarves at every clothing shop.
There's a lot "features" that you mentioned that aren't new such animals attacking you, destroying security cameras as well as npc trying to rob. In GTA V online you can already send a robber for someone
Not only that but the instant character change was in V
In the leaks it switches when they are like right next to each other so it'll probably be fast but probably not instant when they're at a distance lol
Give us more car options like different trims/variations, swapping engines/drivetrains and at least 90% customization for coupes, popular cars, SUVs and cars that aren't expected oh and wheel sizes/variation, basically a true emphasis on car modification because i am sick and tired of seeing splitters in bumpers or primary/secondary colour options like f**k.
Yeah lmao definitely not happening. I would say the modding would be like gt5 but just a little better. These developers don’t give a damn about what we want they just care about making money. All we can do is hope it isn’t a steaming pile of shit like the remasters.

I hope Lucia looks exactly as the leaks, she looks so stunningly attractive. I also hope they put flamethrowers, chainsaws, tasers, nun chucks, etcetera. So many weapons they can put in the next gta.
I was told back in 2013 you could "seamless switch between characters" in GTA:V. We'll see how it works out with a decade of gaming advancements.
I think in E&E the character switching is generally pretty fast so I think it'll be fast but not instant in VI

so many of these rumours were around before gta V came out its either just what people really want in the game or rockstar has actually been working on these features for a long time, gta v just wasnt the game for them
The vehicles are an area I want major improvements. Cars should be able to run out of fuel, sustain damage i.e, lose wheel, overheat, crumble and deform more realistically upon crashing, and just have more realistic handling (not asking for Sim racing level, just more realistic).

@Xrafy 705 cars also run out without the gas tank being shot. I think it would be cool if you'd steal cars with random fuel levels, cars ran out accordingly to some metric of consumption; say suvs have a fuel rating of like 2/5,, sedans varying around 3-5, etc, and GAS STATIONS AND GAS JUGS. I mean ffs mw2 warzone has at least some type of system for fueling. It's 100% doable.
So basically it's going to be like a combination of gta 5 and rdr2.
They need to add concealed guns and visible guns. If they don’t conceal their weapons, then the police will be called.
How about customizing your home after purchasing a property? That would make more sense. 😊
All the sidemissions featured in every single gta should return. They all may not be required for 100% but as an act of remembering the days when we stole a construction truck to deliver bombs like in SA.
Yooo im actually really hopeful and excited for fishing. It was such a huge part of red dead 2 and its such a simple yet fun activity. It would be cool to be able to sell your fish to make some quick cash in the beginnings
I’m most excited about the cop aspect. Like that’s sweet how they’ll be speed traps, and I hope that we can be a cop just like that cop mod on pc

Nah it’ll be revealed this year, sometime towards Fall. Then it’ll release in Fall 2025.

I don't like it it take away the Is immersion
I want limited weaponry because it gives the game more challenge and makes it more fun, when u can pull all weapons out your ass it becomes too damn easy and boring, that and gta 5 story really ruined the game for me

12:57 A cool little side feature that I thought would be implemented in Mafia 3 given it’s bayou location was feeding Gators and even catching and selling them. Since Vice city has a swamp region I think it would be an awesome addition and kinda makes more sense for a gta game

How do you know?
I like the limited carrying capacity. I get overwhelmed in the weapons wheel sometimes when I have 20 different weapons on hand but only use two of them.
All these features sound great! Especially the focus on realism and carrying capacity. GTA 5 felt too arcade-like and braindead with how obnoxious the weapon loadout system was.
I just pray I get to see this release!

I hope you can buy a house, condo, apt or mansion anywhere in the game and be able to move into it instead of the same option for only a few properties.
The gta 5 character switching is hella creative, like for example u don't gotta wait that long if ur characters were close to eachother
i wonder if gta vi will feature a whole new level of realism to the game
About holding weapons I think it must be limited, like in rdr2 you have 2 revolvers and 2 rifles, also in GTA6 you will have 2 pistols and 2 rifles, and you will be able to store other weapons in the trunk of your personal car, just like in rdr2 with storing weapons on your horse. I would really like a lot of animations for brawling, advanced counters and finishing move, when you beat someone badly enough for example you can press a button to perform a finishing move, like breaking enemy’s neck, or slam his head to the floor and other cool finisher moves, or doing some great combos after you fill a bar where you can perform this combo by pressing several buttons etc. I think the gun animations will be on another level, like when shooting or reloading, being able to dual wield, or drive by shooting when you are going to be a passenger you can hold an AR and lean on car windows to make the killing and the action when assassinating your enemy feel way too much real and cool. I just want this game to be with super cool action, realistic and so much brutal.

why? just why? why is everyone trying to make gta realistic, these mechanics are just not fun nor do they fit in the gta series

@@rodrigo_tmI disagree, adding these mechanics helps in making the player wanna develop and upgrade their character more , I also trust rockstar aside from the realism they’d still keep fun elements too , rdr2 generally is meant to be gritty and realistic , also keep in mind that most of these features might not even make it in the final release , yes rockstar is ambitious but that’s a lot work to fit in all that realism , a lot will be cut out in the final release to keep things balanced , but gta 6 will definitely be the most realistic, fun , diverse , and entertaining game we’ve ever witnessed and we should be proud and happy to get this came cuz the budget used to make this ambitious game is from all the success of gta V and our love for their games , let’s have faith and trust that rockstar will give us the best game ever ! I’m still keeping an open mind and not getting too hyped but I’m definitely excited to play and enjoy it , cuz i know I will regardless of whatever cuz it’s rockstar and the details alone makes the game good for me

Miami resident here. Just saying we don’t really have a metro system, we really just have an above ground train that has like one route and a driverless above ground tram that also has one route.
I'm really interested in the vehicle stuff like planes,helis,ships/boats, trucks and trailers and offroad vehicles
I am happy with all the realism as it can be as long as the gameplay is still fun. It be cool to have a system like the more you drive, the better skills you can develop like slow mo for example. The more you fly a plane, the more you do sports better shape, the more you shoot better aim

@@twotimes2648Far from realistic. It felt like you're driving on the moon or something. It felt so lightweight and just weird. Gta 5 did it better imo.
all gta 4 needed was a working clutch option for drifts, cars where too sticky and you could never break the traction properly so youd end up oversteering every time, the physics only needed tweaking a tiny bit.

If we really get all this amazing content in gta6, I know rockstar will milk every penny out of it for a very very long time. I really don't doubt that we'll see gta7 when most of us are either dead or deep into our old age.

I really hope they incorporate fuel in vehicles. After playing GTA RP, I can't play without it! Just adds that level of realism in running from cops, or even just driving around.

A GTA 4 style driving physics will make racing more interesting and greifers will have to think twice before ramming you off the road.
Pool or Snooker in Multiplayer would be awesome.
Vehicle fuel would be a nice touch too, making you fill up before a mission or a robbery.
Realistic physics will add more reallistics to the game

I hope they add to the entertaining radio stations and podcasts that GTA V had, have conspiracy theory nuts, and funny/crazy adverts. Driving from one side of the map to the other whilst listening to Ron/Beyond Insemination or Chakra Attack, The Fernando Show, Chattersphere makes the trips that much better. Also hope they have a variety of music from different decades
