Amazing. So I am new to the game. I am level 11 Braver but then I tried Duel Blade and it seemed like it did so much more damage. So Question.. How do you compare damage wise to Duel Blade Warrior?
@@markmalander9521 whats Duel Blade Warrior? :D Do u mean Daggers with Fighter? I did some testing on Bujin with various weapons and they all show very similar results: Sword, Partizan, WIred Lances, Daggers, Saber, Knuckles, Katana, Wand. Only Wired Lances and Wand showed 10-20% lower results, the rest are within 5% range. Developers did a great job on balancing weapons, so use what u like.
@@derVadok Sorry Yes Daggers. Thanks for the help. I like to be able to shoot the bow and switch to Katana for close power attacking. Your performance inspired me to stay with Braver. It would be great if you would put out a video sometime showing your techniques to help out beginners like myself .
@@markmalander9521 There are couple of reasons why hybrid builds are not that great and its better to stick to either katana or bow: 1. There are only 2 out of 4 augments with dual potency bonuses. Dual bonus is usually lower than single bonus. The 3rd one is universal but very expensive. 2. Range weapons generally have lower damage than melee, to compensate for better dps uptime. So the time u spend to catch re-positioned enemy as melee is when range class is catching up in damage. There is no real benefit in switching between melee/range weapons. If u need guide for Braver, ask Witcream-senpai! :D
the peak of braver gameplay is in my opinion if you can pull of fearless attitude at will, the pp recovery from executing it make you spam more skill and somehow its satisfying af (well of course that make me get rekt by gigantix way more often lol)
This was cool to watch. Im going to start playing Braver soon and planned on using a fixa-less Evolcoat katana. Now I think I will use my Resurgir Fixa Fatale lvl 3 katana instead. I suspect it will be better if I can learn to parry well.

This is why I don't like this class, too much button mashing the class is not chill and laid back to play, high APM and wonky parry forcing you to dodge dodge is not versatile cannot use it on aerial combat definitely not good pair for techer that need to press buff and heal. @@gkagara Yeah it suffers mostly from lack of pp. The counter really isn't nice though because you might as well just dodge counter instead since that does more damage. Furthermore the class is too stationary and has no gap closer.
@@IsraTheBlack it's very PP demanding dodge is not good for aerial combat something like uruq or nex you cannot dodge that dodging will make you fall at the moment you using dodge. Braver IMO is support dmg class not the main dmg dealer in a fight, it have multiple weakness like low crowd control, no close gap, pp hungry and stationary this make it probably the most useless class in def UQ. Having braver brigade in def UQ is annoying.

Aye! That resurgir Katana will surely come in handy! The bursts of damage you deal when the proc hits works wonders!
Resurgir is not proc parry but by dodge, step dodge unusable in aerial battle because you drop down.

This just shows clearly what the class itself is lacking. So many skills for counters but no reason to ever use them.
