Falls Village, CT tent site (1498.7) to Salisbury, CT (mi. 1507.5) What an awesome change in temperature and humidity! The woods were actually cool this morning walking through them. It took awhile to get out of Falls Village, but the miles flew by fast. We hit the 1500 mile mark today which actually felt bigger to me than I thought it would. Solar caught up to me around 1ish and suggested we spend the night in Salisbury, CT. to have a chill afternoon, a shower, and get our laundry done … sounded awesome to me 🙌🏻
We had an amazing late lunch at Neo’s, then hit the local market, all of which were super close to the house we’re staying at. We went back to Neo’s for dinner it was so good. Should be out of town by 8ish tomorrow morning, and it looks like the weather will be good for hiking again!
Todays menu: Cranberry juice, bottle of Coke Zero, brownie, breakfast sandwich on a croissant, 10 bone-in chicken wings, 8 caramel cream candies, a whiskey & ginger ale, 3 clementines, half a large Margarita pizza, a can of coke, 2 pints of ice cream, French toast, ginger ale fountain soda, and water with Liquid IV mix.
