  • PXG recently released the 0311 GEN6 irons. The standard model comes in chrome, accent in black, but this is the special Black Label Elite version. It has an ultra-thin face, tungsten weights, and an internal polymer to absorb vibration and enhance feel.

They look amazing but very strong lifted which is a concern for stopping power in the greens?

The center of gravity location is low enough to create extra height and, therefore, a more vertical angle of descent. From the rounds that I have played with the GEN6 irons, I have not noticed any issue with stopping power. - DD

      Bill,
With all due respect, that's sort of like saying, "The trunk in the Ferrari is too small, I'll stick with my F-150. You're talking about different things. PXG recently released a new Cavity-back iron for better players that might be more your style. golfweek.usatoday.com/2023/04/19/pxg-0317-cb-irons/. Regardless, thanks for the comment and I hope you will subscribe to my channel. - DD

@@DavidDusek The only PXG clubs with a small top line was the 0211 ST blades. Which I like and might play.
You've obviously never seen PXG clubs in person and or compared their product line in person. I was a club builder for PXG in Arizona. I know their product way better than you ever will.
I'll give you a pass but I'm not sub'ing you.
      Good day.

@@DavidDusek I’m 16 and got the gen 5 p irons 2 years ago. I like them but they are wayyy to hot off the face (I hit 7 iron 195 with them but when I tried mizuno jpx 923 tour I hit it 180…) but they were great for me as a mid handicapper. Now that I’m shooting around par I think the benefit is starting to wear off. They are difficult to shot shape with and don’t get as much spin as I’d like. They do launch pretty high tho and they are very easy to hit. Like I’ve hit shots wayyy off the toe that have pretty much gone dead straight. I’ll be sad to see them go but this guys right, they have a pretty massive top line…

@@billyunairDang fellas, keep the peace. I'm just thinking outloud....one could say you are bitter towards PXG from your time working there....did Bob make some unwanted advances? He does seems a bit like a hound dog....boom baby!

@@CD-sz7tf Bob sent all his production facilities to Mexico from the US, except for a few master builders. Made in US huh? Kaboom baby? : /
Bob grabbed the two best Engineers at Ping but the feel and sound of his clubs suck. No where near Ping. No feel.
      That's just a start. Shall I continue?
