    Just wanted to thank you for your lovely recipes!! I made your chocolate cupcakes and they turned out DELICIOUS so I'm super excited to try this chocolate cake. I love that you don't use exorbitant amounts of sugar and butter in your recipes yet they still turn out super decadent and tasty! Thanks once again!

    Just tried this last night and it was the most heavenly deliciousness ever! I don’t usually bake cakes but my husband wanted to eat chocolate cake and this seemed like an easy enough recipe to make. Beginners should definitely try this. It was so quick, simple and fuss-free! I used my stand mixer and added whole milk instead of buttermilk and it came out perfect, if that helps anyone :)

    For the first time i made this today as a birthday cake and it was easy to follow, the result was great! Instead of buttermilk i used evaporated milk and added 1 tsp. of vinegar. I'm also short on 1 egg so i wasn't sure what will happen but thankfully it was great! It was moist and has the right softness for a moist cake, there's no break, and the taste is good to me not too sweet or strong. Then I covered it with a simple ganache recipe i found somewhere online and it totally looks perfect for me. Definitely will bake this again, still new to the bake-ing world so i will try more types of cake. ( The texture of this is almost 2 step away from a Brownies ) I'll rate it 9.5/10 thank you Yummy Treats!

    • @rashielangelah
      @rashielangelah 2 роки тому

      I also put it back in the oven twice in 100°c for 3min. because when i flipped it thinking it was done the mixture leaked out somewhere like lava haha ( i did the toothpick test in one place only maybe that's why, so be sure to test all corners of the cake every 10 mins. )

    Tried this recipe to the dot on father's Day (had to make buttermilk with milk and vinegar as mentioned and I didn't have baking soda so I used twice the amount of baking powder and reduced the quantity of salt in the recipe) and it turned out soo sooo good!!! I could have eaten the whole huge cake on my own but everyone loved it soo much. It's fast, easy and absolutely delicious ❤️

    Just made the recipe as-is and it is, indeed, very moist and spongy with a dense crumb structure, almost like a cake with pudding mixed into the batter. It’s not exactly what I was looking for, but for those who like a moist, spongy cake, this is a very good recipe. I might suggest adding more than 1/4 cup cocoa powder though, to get a more chocolatey flavor.

      just a reminder u were gonna do it "later" and then say if it turned out like hers. did u do it? well i did it ill just tell u guys already. it looks like hers atleast mine. altough the ingridients looked smaller in the bowl than on the video. so yeah its a smaller batch than it actually looks like..

    The batter was way too runny unfortunately. I had to add another half a cup of flour to fix it. Maybe reduce the amount of liquids and it would be perfect.

      This is really runny but it is ok because tthe moistudd will evapirate anyway abd it will make a soft moist chocolTe cake or cupcakes

    This is by far the best nicest most delicious moist chocolate cake I've ever made and eaten. We love it and will be definitely making it again.
    But.... I didn't have cocoa and swapped it out for hot chocolate galaxy powder instead.
    Yummy yummy yummy.

    If you guys don’t have butter milk you can make one yourself by getting milk and adding distilled white vinegar or lemon juice and let it sit for 10 minutes before using it

      hamdeh al Mheiri please tell the quantity of how much milk and how much vinegar or lemon needs to be added?

    • @hamdaalmheiri8031
      @hamdaalmheiri8031 4 роки тому +1

      nehajain1502 sorry for the late reply. I used normal milk and added more flour but then I realized that I could have added distilled white vinegar or lemon juice and I dont think you need to add that much

    Do we have to use buttermilk. I only have regular milk, will there be any big difference. Is there any type of way I can make buttermilk at home

    • @BabyMacFlo
      @BabyMacFlo 4 роки тому +3

      Emilly De Souza if you have white vinegar or 1/2 lemon just put some in a cup of milk and let it sit for 10 min then you’ll get buttermilk

    Thank you for sharing it inspired me to bake it after I watched the video. It was good I had to improvise with the buttermilk and used 3/4c of sour cream and 1/4 c milk to substitute and didn't use as much sugar I put half a cup less but made up for it by making an icing on the side of cake not on it.
