      @donnisdavis2185 congrats. Hopefully you get lots of use out of it. I still use it often and I'm still on original cutters. 😁

    I'm blown away by your thoughtful gesture in the shoutout! Thank you for tagging along! Great job on the video detailing how you landed on the MechMaxx. I didn't have similar issues contacting Woodland Mills, but I did have a much better experience in communicating with MechMaxx. As always, Stay Safe and Stay Hydrated!

      Thanks for watching. Customer service was the winning factor in my decision. I I forgot to say that when recording.

    I had the exact same experience as you. I debated until I saw Peek's Peak videos. I ordered the green and it will be here Wednesday. 3 more days. I ordered on June 14th so I'm going to be closer to 6 weeks but it's cool. They said 5 up front. I imagine it's because of the green paint. Had to come from the plant. Probably China. I'm going to be using it behind a 755.

    Excellent! My Mechmaxx is about to be shipped with a cover and an extra half-set of cutters. I'm all for buying American, but the price for this implement was just too good to pass up. It actually should serve as a wake-up call to U.S. companies to do something to bring their mfg. costs down before it's too late. Mine is green to match my 1025R.

      @jonesrick1 the design is simple and shouldnt cost 3k+ dollars. Its a flywheel, bearing, and cutters.
      Im still on original cutters 😀

      Agree. The problem is simple to understand. It's the same reason we took the manufacturing business away from England so many years ago--the economic status quo. Britain's labor force was paid more than the U.S. labor force and so American companies could charge less for their products. Today the tables have turned, with China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, and others producing goods at a cheaper rate than their U.S. counterparts. So they get the business and give it the Americans. There are ways to compensate, but it takes smarts and dedication to do so, and that's something I haven't seen in recent U.S. administrations, both democrat or republican. The democrats are stupidly woke, and republicans can't agree on anything. Hopefully, things will change with Trump and the incoming administration.

    Im pretty sure the Woodland Mills and MegMax are the same machine. I also had the same experience as you trying to get ahold of Woodland Mills, never received a response. One thing I have noticed when grinding stumps is to make sure the draft arms are good and tight horizontally or you start to get that bouncing action going. I never look at the stump grinder while grinding, I go off of the 3ph lever height. Thanks for the video.

    Why did you get orange? Went to get one today but said “pre order’’. Not sure what that means. Pre order scares me. Like you may wait weeks till they get them in stock Had pre ordered a 2021 f250 year later still was on order. So i cancelled

      I really just like orange better than green 😀
      It said pre order when I ordered mine. It should really be labeled order or backordered. I know how scary that Feeling is. They are shipping stuff every week and demand has been higher than expected. A credit card that will let you cancel the order is a great option if you have one. I wouldn't pre order using a debit card.

    How long did it take to get your stump grinder?

    • @projectswithjw
      @projectswithjw  19 годин тому

      @@WorthDoingRight it was less than 4 weeks back in May. Demand really went up during the summer

    That are both the same in one way. Both are made in China

      @kennethlowe6337 it would seem like made in the same factory from all i can tell. Its been a great tool. I use it often 👍
