Hate to ask and i know its a lot.... But can you leave the video a thumbs up? Also, more importantly.... whats the last 2 fish? No one will guess both because one is the ONLY one in the world.
How could somebody not leave one of your videos a thumbs up it's my favorite time of the week whenever you upload it's a automatic like before I even watch the video
@@mdg163 seems obvious this tank is for rays. But who knows? With the space he'll have in the new fish room he's making, he could be planning anything.
My heart just stopped, I honestly thought, for that split second, it was going to flop itself upward then onto the floor. That would have been devastating..!! Truly glad it worked out as planned. Good work.
To me between the fast flow and shallower tank depth the arowana seems a little misplaced-looked perfect in the 2000. Oscars and bichir look amazing in that tank!
The Arowana & the Bichir look absolutely great in their new tank, the Arowana looks great swimming around his new kingdom & the Bichir really stands out on the black floor
my OCD is going crazy because of that leftover sand in the tank. I straight up wouldn't be able to sleep until I get every grain outta there lol. The tank looks phenomenal with the Asian Aro.
My heart was racing out of my chest watching you move the arowana! I was thinking maybe get a koi sock for the future in moving the Asian arowana. I worry about the arowana jumping in the shallower tank! 🍀🍀🍀🍀💋 Love you Joey and you're awesome fish❤
I can’t believe how big everyone has got. I’ve watched you since you started building the gallery and I remember when you got all these fish. All tiny babies xxx beautiful joey xxx
Yes I remember when you had tanks that looked very much like the 700g. Bear bottom and awesome lighting. And the gold fish tank you did made me look at gold fish differently. Your whole style was a new look at the hobby for me back then. I'm in love with the 700g.
Have you seen elastic trellis nets for plants? If you stretch one over the top of the tank it will hold the lids in place. Hooks glued to the side of the rim will hold it in place.
You could always drill some holes for hooks & put a net on the top instead of a plastic lid. Keep it from getting hurt on it. Just a suggestion.... Keep on keeping on my friend 💯 💪
You're less likely to split fins if you use a finer mesh net. Like the mesh on the second smaller net you used. You can also get large nets with fine mesh. A finer mesh prevents the risk of fins poking through the mesh and then splitting. Just a suggestion. For you. Or for your viewers who might be interested.
You should add branches to the tree but that reach downward like roots almost and use them to hold the lids onto the tank.. so it keeps the asian arowana from jumping out while also kinda enhancing the tree display
@thekingofdiy the tank looks great and I looked forward to whatever you do to add to it, especially the surprise fish.. and yeah, it would be cool if u could get some huge Lilly pads in there, maybe even ones that flower.. idk if that would work with all the flow at the top of the tank but I can definitely imagine what it would look like
The 700g is by far the best tank in the gallery, I say that because Oscars are my favorite large Cichlid besides Green Terrors (hint hint Joey). Just by the fish left in the 2K, I'm gonna guess that the Ultimate Angels, Geophagus and EBA are going in there and the Pirahna are going in the 16' tank, but I have been known to be wrong in the past!
Impressive. Plumbing tanks together sounds good for buffering capacity but perhaps risky for disease. You could insert a UV sterilizer or ionizer + carbon in between.
This is always the ideal height to view an arowana. Having them at your feet doesn’t do it justice- of course if you believe that the fish bring fortune, then it has to be at the new height! 🤣
I’ve been watching on and off for ages, and yeah, I remember when there was an Asian Arowana tank built into the office wall. The fish seem happy, and while Joey’s happiness is also important, we know it’s temporary :P I like how it turned out.
I just started a 125g Oscar tank. I have one 4 inch tiger in there and one albino growing out a little bit before I add him to the 125. Also have an electric blue Jack Dempsey doing in. We’ll see how it goes
I like how it is. I surprised you got rid of the piranha. Because I think I remember you saying was one of first species of fish you kept. I personally been watching channel for very long time. I think the gig tanks should be fish you personally want and how you want scape it. I like bare bottom tank with the stumps or logs. I think you should keep Asian Arowana, oscars,Tyrese, piranha, discus and uaru I hope I spelled that correctly. Then your other tanks try out new fish, different scapes, lighting and filtration. But I think you should keep what makes you happy. Don't listen to the haters. Joey just be yourself.
Let me just say I LOV E Oscars so this tank is right up my ally. That said anyone who gives you grief can build their own 700G tank and do it how they want You do you.
The 700 gallon tank is amazing, however it would’ve been better if you built it a few feet taller. The 2 fish you are adding are your 2 blood red parrot 🦜 cichlids.
King of DIY awesome video Joey love seeing all the updates in the gallery and yes I gotta say my favourite tank is that one you built way back in the basement you remember that big 10 x 10 plywood bottom that thing was amazing. Keep up the great work, buddy. See you in the next one.
I will have to admit I did not think the oscars and arowana were going to look good in the 700. But I am glad I was proven wrong. The 700 allows for more focus on the fish which is what you want with a beautiful arowana and some interesting oscars. That in mind I would guess the stingray is going into the 700 as it is one of those fish you don't want to get lost in the shuffle.
It's probably not practical, however if you had an above water enclosure to contain the Asian it would be interesting for feeding if they feed like other arowana. He or she could jump without risk.
Is it more beneficial to do this lager water quantity having multiple large tanks all using the same water compared to just having a stand alone filter system for each tank?
Joey, smattering of sand in the 700G would actually give more dimension and more character overall to the tank, and would help in seeing the darker Oscars, especially the 3 smaller Oscars.
I've been watching this channel for a few years now, and mostly felt neutral towards the Asian arowana, but seeing it alone in the 700, and just seeing it appear from behind the tree trunk is making me seriously want one. Unfortunately, I live in the U.S. so I can't

I'm guessing one of the last two fish will be the Black Diamond ray.
Probably wrong.
Only one in the world? That's hard to guess. If it were my tank, I'd want Australian lungfish in it.
@@mdg163 seems obvious this tank is for rays. But who knows? With the space he'll have in the new fish room he's making, he could be planning anything.
Settle down the Froto!
My heart just stopped, I honestly thought, for that split second, it was going to flop itself upward then onto the floor. That would have been devastating..!! Truly glad it worked out as planned. Good work.
your's did?!?!
The arowana looks gorgeous, please don't sleep on the lids...
if he sleeps on the lids it would hold them Down.

every fish always looks better in a bigger tank. i get it.
@@thekingofdiy The tank is wayy to small for such a big fish, quite cruel if you prefere aesthetics over the fishes comfort!
The Arowana & the Bichir look absolutely great in their new tank, the Arowana looks great swimming around his new kingdom & the Bichir really stands out on the black floor
I absolutely love this tank. It's gorgeous. ❤

same. but its 5 feet in the back. i see it daily and think "thats the only thing that sucks about this tank" lol
CDO. It needs to be alphabetical. Agreed, beautiful!
@@Dantoni36 lol
@@thekingofdiy Just siphon it out ... will be a bit of a pain in the moment, but then it's done.
Wow, that arowana is gorgeous!! 😍

I know on paper it's big enough but I personally feel like the Ariwana deserves the bigger tank.
In Asia we actually keep them in a 5ft tank in our high rise flat. We do keep them in that for 10 to 15yrs if you're wondering..
@edwin_cho that doesn't make it right. People keep dogs on chains their whole life.
I think it’s Rad!! Love the clean look to it.
Looks great 👍
I can’t believe how big everyone has got. I’ve watched you since you started building the gallery and I remember when you got all these fish. All tiny babies xxx beautiful joey xxx

Yep, Remember Frank? Been watching a long time now

I love the oscars! They are my favorite!
MOGA 😃
Best tank you’ve done yet
Beatiful aquarium
Looks awesome my dude!! I like bottom being darker makes the reds in the arrow and Oscar’s pop
Love the videos Joey. Any chance of one explaining water hardness. How to understand it?
Thanks mate👍 keep up the great work

Just a suggestion....
Keep on keeping on my friend 💯 💪
Best looking 700 gallon on UA-cam brother
you are bias! you have basically the same fish haha
I like the new tank essentially because it shows the bichir more. I love that guy, too.
A bunch more bichers in there would be a good idea!
Great job Brother
Just an awesome tank my friend, gotta find your vid on bare bottom.
Those Tiger Oscars are amazing!
Finally Joey is going back to tanks he likes
That's a beautiful fish jo baggins lol one tank to rule them all hehe 😅 love ya videos keep it up bro so much love ..
The Arowana looks so gorgeous in this new tank! Good move! All the fish looks better.
Looks class

i would consider floating plants

Biotope setups would be great
i find them boring. of course, if actually done right.
Oscar’s are my all time favorite fish. I love this

I AM ARROWANDA !!! I AM ALL POWERFUL!!!
Love it! Try to add florida/spotted gars
Should add in 1 more albino oscar
Froto Mullen! 😂😜😘
This looks incredible.
Awesome build, you build that whole tank out of glass? I thought it would be a plywood built
My favorite kind of video
Great tank

Get more Albino Oscars!!!
What are you going to put in the jumbo tank? He looks beautiful in his new home 🥰
LOL "every inch matters"
Some kind of new stingrays
would look good with a captain hook or 2. those gold oscars do pop off in that kind of lightning
This video bums me out. The 2000g was my fav tank and was looking amazing.

Do you still have your piranhas 👀

Could build a wooden brace for the top covering as much as you’d like he’d never get out of that or even plywood cover with pond coating
Oscar tank is epic

Will the Geos and Angels go into the 2 thousand? I wonder if the Geos and Angels go into the 2 thousand.
My thoughts are all the fish in the 16ft will go into 2000 and pirahnas will take the 16ft
The arowana would be my favorite fish if i hadn't heard of the arapaima
not of fan of them to be honest.
@thekingofdiy they aren't as pretty as an arowana but they are cool in their own special monstrous way
“Make Oscars GREAT AGAIN” lol😂😂

Like the tank but Bare Bottom makes it look like it is incomplete,
Fish are cool but I would have rather left them in the 2000g...way more space for them
Your fish are stunning. Gorgeous tank. I also have bare bottom tanks. Easier Thank you-
Having kept both Oscars and Discus I prefer the Oscars. The Discus were just far too picky.
