My sisters and I were listening to this song when our Mother took her last breath here on earth and took her next breath in the arms of Jesus
I lost my grandpa this morning and this song helps so much! My favorite line is "I'm not gone even if I leave". Thank you Reba, for being so inspiring.
And now her mama went to ride with her dad. May the horses be ever free, may they ride along with Thee.
Beautifully said.
U are cool.beautiful
I love this song
When this song first came I cried for days. It's so beautiful. Yes they are together now.
Ll
What an amazing tribute for her parents. She really knows how to show love and respect through her music.
This is a beautiful song and the video they have done is such a fitting tribute and so respectful sending love and hope always
It was written as a tribute to her dad.her mother was still alive at the time of this video(she was in it)but has since passed on.
@@angelaperrin5909she’s made four songs about her mom so far as well
What a beautiful tribute
Lost my dad on Christmas eve 2010, he was in the US, me in Europe. I wanted to go to him as soon as I heard he had cancer. He didn't want me to see him broken from the cancer. I remember how my step.mother put the phone to dad's ear when he could no longer talk or swallow. I told him I loved him and I knew he was tired and it was OK to go Home, into the Lord's arms. I found out he passed a few hours later. This song has become a way to mourn my dad and let the tears still fall. Thank you Reba!
Sorry for your loss... I think about my dad when i listen to this song... Although i was with my father and had a chance to say good bye it still hurts like hell... I sung this song and "Daddy you can let go" to him.. He passed away while i was at home in bed asleep.... 14th of Jan will be 2 yrs and feels like yesterday
My brother was in hospice. Waited for to get from Texas to Missouri. And when I got there he was holding on…I said it’s ok to go. I made to you….go with God, go home. And he died that night. This song hits home…whew…
Thank you for sharing such a piece of amazing & intimate information with us
Hi Nancy,hope you’re okay ?
Letting Daddy go was the hardest day ever. He was the strongest best Mann I will ever know. We told him to go we would care for Momwho had Alzheimer’s. , but I’m 77 and I need him every day. I lo ve r and miss him every day
Why this failed to chart is beyond me. I've loved this song ever since this video came out. What a shame radio ignored such an emotional, meaningful and powerful song, especially for Reba, after her dad passed away... a lot of people connect with that.
The picture that it paints is hard for most people to understand. They think horses only live in small pastures and maybe spend all their nights in a barn. Them horses ran free as often as not and sometimes they just had to run free. That's hard on city folk and lots of residents of small towns. Reba has seen horses that had to run without a rider and is painting that picture.
Yes I agree with you it puts tears in my eyes it’s such a beautiful message with her mom and where she originated.
Susan Mazzanti I agree! I'm from a small town in TX and we're country folks around here! Horses run free when they're on open land...my dad has always had cows and those don't run much but they walk free! This song hits so close to home!
Okay
Reba is still singing the good ole country songs. The country playing on the radio stations now day is more pop than country. I appreciate that Reba has stayed true to her roots & her music instead of conforming. Have seen you many times, and hope to see you several more❣💫🎵
My husband passed a month ago from Covid , we were married 29 years , Im grateful that I got to hold his hand when he passed
Hello Ann, how are you doing
After you lose a parent this one will hit your right in the feels every time.
You're absolutely right❤
I started crying at Rena's message at the beginning and didn't stop. Hearing this song today is special, because today (1/5/24) would've been dad's 65th birthday❤ "I'm not gone even if I leave" is so right and so powerful.
Happy Birthday dad, I love you and miss you always
Bob
So true. 😢
…. yes, it does. My heart will always ache for my daddy .. taken by ALS 6-17-2011. My hero, my protector, my angel. *My father* ❤💔

Hello there Jennifer nice meeting you here
Omg I am very sorry to hear about the lost of your dad Jen. How are you doing with your family I hope you’re safe from the virus?
This song came out when my mom died two years ago and I played this song at her funeral. Wow! How timely was that? ...not to mention that I am a horse person and although my mom was not, she always encouraged my passion. Thanks for helping my grieve the loss of my mom, Reba!
hi Deb how are you doing with your family I hope you’re safe from the virus?
I absolutely love this video. It definitely shows a softer side of Reba. I love the parts where the horses are running and also in the beginning where Reba talks about how it's hard to say good bye to some one.
I miss you Morgan how are you I just love rebas new video
Bet I'm a box giver fan +caitlin"lovesomebodyfan"

This song is about her dad who just died and the whole video is shot on their family farm
Cried my eyes out so beautiful and touching so simple yet so amazing. RIP to Reba's father. I'm sure he's smiling down at you and all of your accomplishments we love you Reba ❤️❤️
+Rhett Butler that it is and Ihave the tissues to
+Rhett Butler you're not alone on that cried you're eyes out cause I cried through the whole song. I like the beginning when she talked about how do you lose someone who raised you, took care of you, loved you and tried to help you fulfill your dreams. Made me think of my dad immediately we lost him to cancer in 1997. Reba can make you feel the song because she feels it inside of her and that is what makes her one of the best music artists out there and because of that it's why I love her music.
+Billys Angel دذ
+Billys Angel Agreed! Love her!
+Billys Angel Agreed! Love her!
For your Momma too REBA she is riding with Clark once again.I love you REBA, from Shadyhills Florida, USA.
I agree also Reba wrote You Never Gave Up On Me for her Mom
Best song she has ever performed. I assume she wrote this and it evokes in every heart that has laid a parent to rest God Bless You Reba your daddy would be so proud.
Sweet dreams
I trust in you Lord but it's been a battle here on earth. I lost my parents when I was 5 and I hate that cancer took my children's father. I can't describe the pain to see your children go through so much pain and only help is Jesus.
this song is very very valuable to me. my sweet daddy had just died this morning and he loved horses, the other day we was talking about this song amd he told me "this is the song i was at my funeral." so, this is the song we picked! love this song so good.
So sorry to here about your daddy, I lost my daddy in 2004 he was 49 I was with him as he took his last breath said his last words its very hard sending you my deepest throughts
My dad was just killed September 1st in a car accident. Made sure to play this at his funeral. Missing him dearly and so sorry for your loss as well.
I cry each time i hear this song, my dad has also passed reminds me of him.
I just saw reba last night in concert, yes she is amazing.
Helped me through death of father in law I took care of myself at home
Jordun Marleigh this was my mother song too ! She loved it so much that she too wanted it to be played at funeral as well
Omgosh Reba... I completely bawled my eyes out. Thank you so very much for sharing this tender moment with all of your fans. YOU don't realize that you are so many of ours' glue that gets us through pain, love, sadness, sassiness, hurt through your music, so thank you. And ugh... 2:57 when you sigh out after he passes.... Ripped right through my heart. Just breathtaking. Best video is years ❤️
*Best video in years.
+Christopher Scott Hi
I agree
I just melted when I heard this song. I came across it a few days after I put my 15 year old Golden Retriever down. I do not have children and he has been my world. He held on for so long. Had an eye removed, bad back leg and bumps, but I said as long as he wagged his tail and ate, I would keep him with me. I laid with him for 3 days and had to put him down. Never have I felt so much pain. I have been taking care of my mom who had a stroke almost 3 years ago and Alex kept me going. I do not usually listen to Country but do love Reba and watch her show. I listen to this song all the time. I will see him again and know he is healthy and waiting. Thank You Reba!!!
Such a beautiful voice and such a and lady truly the Queen of country music

😥🙏❤
A beautiful, heartfelt and talented piece. When it’s time to run…..
Reba, I am 61 years old and have listened to your songs and loved them for years. You outdid yourself on this album, especially Back to God
OMG, how I wish I had one last chance to talk it up with my dad, now gone for 28 yrs or more but this song is all about me and him being so stubborn.....for everything. wish he was still here to just argue with him, for the sake of debating all the time.........some siblings will never know the joy I had with him.....again thanks Dad! (long gone, but never forgotten!!
The good in Reba shows. She is multi talented and still gives God the credit...love her.
Amen!
I very do
Janet larson. Yes she is so good. I would love to meet her. I need the inspiration...

I lost my Mom at 21 and my Dad five years later. I'm 61 and I've lost five siblings. Saying goodbye is hard but keeping them in your heart through memories is easy ❤
This is such a beautiful song, sung with so much emotion. Feeling the love you have in your beautiful sad heart for your amazing Mom, May she Rest In Peace.
Hello there mlc nice meeting you here
I heard my mother scream my name. I jumped from the bed and ran to their room. I grabbed my father just in time to prevent him from falling out of bed. I laid him down, and felt the ICD hit him. I said, give me a breath, and told me mother to go call the hospice nurse. When the second jolt hit him, I knew it was at an end. I held his head in my left hand, and his arm with my right. When the third jolt hit us both, i jumped. I whispered in his ear, Its OK daddy, you've done enough. You can let go, we're going to be OK.
Its been 10 years. We're not OK. But I listen to songs like this, and it allows me to release a lot of the anger. Reba, you hit a home run with this one. You found your Dance.
bless all i miss my dad so so much thanks for your music its helped me and my children peace love pray.
Love this song ,,,reminds me of my dad and brother( How do you say goodbye)
I remember my mom in the hospital for weeks dying of PVD. It was so sad. I stayed with her every night. the one night I had to go home to get some sleep, I also whispered in her ear "momma you can go, we will be okay, you have fought a good fight". she passed away on my way home. I still feel guilty for not being there when she left. She was there when I entered this world, I wanted to be there when she left. I will never be right again. I'm sorry for your loss also.
James Jarmon I'm so sorry for your loss 💔
❤ so sorry for your loss
About one in a million songs make me cry. This one did! Got chills, like her Daddy's spirit was with her during the song.
So truly gentle, loving. One of the best music videos ever! Tribute to Reba, her Dad & everyone who loves/loved him.
Also, totally digging that her "Mom" grabbed a Bible and was reading it to find comfort. A nice witness to faith!
Blessings to All
this video is so beautiful!! so are you reba!! your daddy will be watching from heaven proud as can be!
I hoped I would never need this song as I much as I do tonight but I do. We moved to Blackwell just a bit north of you and after 5 yrs of loving OK together my husband died last night. Thank you for this help with my pain.
Reba has always been an amazing artist, exceptional voice but I think this song tops them all. ❤️ Keep on, going Reba! You still got it!!! 🎶
How can any people dislike her she is friggin brilliant
because they are heartless
Thumbs down people are just plain ignorant.(& evidently depth)
Well all song are a emotional experience. Each person has their own bias perspective so one song is perfect to one person while it's boring to another. It has been and will always be this way. I know people whom hate Country Music etc. Lucky I was raised in a household with a wide range types and decades of music.
Her words take people places they don’t like or want to be
Because it might not be there taste in music or whatever every has own taste the music that’s your opinion not saying that I don’t agree with it I do but that’s your opinion can people have their own opinion I’m sick and tired of people I don’t like just cause they lie sometimes Ariel has a liking to stop wanting people to be sheep I just follow you and like would you like
Reba was the first person I was honored to see live, a magnificent performer and lovely lady. :)
+Chapman Bragg Hester (Chap) Me too! In Topeka, Kansas just after she released "Whoever's In New England"!
Her, Brooks and Dunn, , George Straight, and Trace Atkins are my favorite live performers, but Reba is my #1 favorite.
7 and counting for myself and my husband. I have met her 3 times in meet and greets and true to fashion she is one of a kind. My husband says even though we're a gay couple I may be in trouble if he had a chance with her.. joking I hope
I always thought of Reba as the Madonna of country music. A queen. This song ripped my heart out. You know a song is good if it makes you dance, gives you hope, comforts you, and in this case, makes you cry. Madonna will always be the queen of pop. Reba will always be the queen of country.
+Steven Conrad I will also add besides Madonna and because of how long she too has been in the business - Cher comes to mind also. All three are pretty much legends in their own right...
+Steven Conrad Reba has more class then Madonna. Reba is way better, but I see where you are going with your statement
Remember just like actors, the Madonna you see on stage isn't the same Madonna when she steps off stage. When she performs she takes on the persona of what the song represents. Just like a actor would do with whatever character they portray.
+Steven Conrad She is pretty bad off stage too though. just different choices in how she acts i guess but she isn't really classy off stage as I've seen
+Steven Conrad Reba would be the first one to tell you Kitty Wells is the only queen of country.
My dear friend of about 45 years just passed away a few hours ago.
Reba Mcentire you were my mother's favor singer. She has been gone 15 years and. I will always miss her. But hearing your song keeps me close to her. Keep up the good work. As my mother would say I love Reba
country singers today are a dime a dozen....A country artist like Reba comes along once in a lifetime
What a loving tribute to her father.Well Done,Reba.May God Bless You.
I just lost my father April 28th of this year. We have always had our horses, now I have my dad's 2 horses and blue heelers 😭💔
😥❤
This was my mom song for her wake ..... RIP MOMMY its your time to run
Hello there Shawna nice meeting you here
I just stumbled onto this song and it had me in tears within the first minute. This is an absolutely amazing song.
I love Reba all the years she's been in this music business she's never changed who she is or what type of music she writes and sings
I lost my mom-bestfriend- my entire world almost 9 months ago and everyday is a struggle. The only thing that gets me through it is knowing she is free from the pain and hell she was living and is happy now.
Me too...lost my mom...best friend last October....
You will see her again...in heaven
My Dad died 19 months ago and I haven't been able to cry... until I heard and saw this video... but now I can barely see to type these words... thank you Reba
Keep letting the tears flow. Bottled up grief will turn on you... take care.
Just lost my uncle(like a dad) so this video really hits home. Thanks for the song, Ms. Reba
I like to say, See you on the other side. Heaven is real where there is no pain. Just true Love for Eternity.
I cry so much to this song...my babies dad is gone and i just wanted them to have what I did not have, but my plans and God's did not match up :( but he is with Jesus and in that is peace......Reba you are a stranger to me but yet l like your family and have helped so many ppl like me in indirect ways
I feel like your family sorry can not type lol
Heather Danielle I am so so sorry I am only 9 and do not have a mommy
sorry hun, I will keep you in my prayers
Heather Danielle God did something to u he loves u
Thank you Catlyn Robision :) I think God he can help when you think you can't do it, and he gives you his love and strength. If it was not for him I would be nothing.
Love this song, cried as listened, most beautiful words. I have lost both parents, my dad had cancer in 1999, my mom diagnosed dementia lost her 10 years later. My paternal grandfather died after I was born, paternal grandma after my dad died. I lost my maternal grandmother in 2006 to cancer, I am grateful to have my maternal grandfather still here, he is 94 years old, I know one day God will be ready to take him, it will be a very hard day for me, he is all I have left for a mentor. He has taught me a lot growing up and he is the best grandpa one could have. Thanks Reba for a beautiful song. I know you wrote it for your dad, God Bless you
A complete thoroughbred our Reba is
i was at the concert that she did this song for the first time. she had the hardest time to get through it but it was an amazing experience.

I recently lost my best friend. She was the horse of my dreams she taught me so much. She was my everything. I miss her so much but I know she is happy and healthy up in heaven waiting on me.
I lost my first horse of 25 years a few months ago. There was nothing Abigail and I didn’t do together. She was my wings!
I’m so sorry. Yes, she is in Heaven. Hugs?
Such a meaningful and endearing song. It always feels like yesterday is today, if we could truly be just like them horses.
Such a beautiful song, video and delivery. Brings tears of joy to my heart and soul, every time I hear this. Thank you Reba.

Amen.
🥺😥
R I p mama mcentire
sorry to hear your mum passed away Reba, l know you will always love and remember her, you have sang the most touching song about the most wonderful animals on this planet, it made me think of all the pain my daughter Heidi went thru losing her beloved horse Rummie, to the malpractice of a local vet, who should have known better and questioned his actions before he over dosed Rummie with too much sedative, that's all it took, to end up killing the only horse and friend she ever had, and l know has never got over his loss, it this song saves one horse it has done it job, thank you very much Reba, you are as much a hero as Willy Nelson and what he has done for the poor old horse, love you, Carol Belbin, Penguin Tasmania
RIP Reba's mother. ♥
Bless you....your Mom is with your Dad now....❤️❤️❤️
It has been a perfect playing for me having a lovely and awesome Fan like you, thanks for your love, I have you mostly to be thankful for.I don't come online often, but you can get in touch via WhatsApp messenger:+13202046636.

Not just like any video. Reba is in the undiscovered country. What a beautiful tribute to life and love. The dimensions of which we must know in the end. In our acceptance of this sense of loss and bringing it into love; We further the progress of life. This is a brilliant moment for Reba. Just beautiful
somehow Reba always has a song when the hard times come. Thank you, Reba! ♡
"Just Like Them Horses" Song resonates with so many who journey through life & grew up with loving parents as is the case for Reba ! Astonishingly beautiful expression of key emotions in life ! Thank you Reba & Team who created this music video--"Just Like Them Horses" .
Yes, Yes , a prayer for Reba's son whom we don't know. How about a song also. If we need to pray for healing, a classic healing son f4om the NYC Rabbi singer who just died few years back, at your church and my temple. Thanks.
When I lost my husband unexpectedly, my step daughter found this for his Celebration of Life video. We had raced Quarterhorses and Thoroughbreds and our favorite stallion had passed a few years before along with several others. I imagine him with them all again, riding the stud.
"Just Like Them Horses"
She held him close, then she kissed his face
He said it just has to be this way
Yours is the heart I'll always keep
I'm not gone even if I leave
If you love me, don't you be afraid
To look in my eyes and open up the gate
Then watch me ride beneath a newborn sun
Just like them horses
When it's time to run
He said, Chockie Mountain is calling me
Gonna take a walk up where I can see
Turn and face that western wind
Oh, and I'll be home again
If you love me, don't you be afraid
To look in my eyes and open up the gate
Then watch me ride beneath a newborn sun
Just like them horses
When it's time to run
Oh, just like them horses
She held his hand, he took one last breath
Then she walked out to the front porch step
Stared at the sky, tears on her face
And she swore she could hear him say
If you love me, don't you be afraid
To look in my eyes and open up the gate
Then watch me ride beneath a newborn sun
Just like them horses
When it's time to run
Just like them horses
When it's time to run
When it's time to run
When it's time to run
Now it's time to run
Just like them horses, ooh
Just like them horses
Oh, now it's time to run...
Joshua wells love
And
Sounds great Reba. If you love me. Don't you be afraid. To look into my eyes and open up the gate. Just like my house mates. When it's time to run.
Ride free my beautiful Mando!!💔❤💔💗💗🙏🐴🌠 06-20-2020
So beautiful Love your music Reba the best
My mother is learning this song because she wants to sing it when we spread my grandpa's ashes in Maine. RIP grandad, you were an amazing man. ❤
I’m deeply sorry for your families loss. My heart goes out to you all ❤️ Rest In Peace to your grandfather. 😔
I feel so fortunate to have my Father still in my life. It has been close a couple of times. Thank you for a song that makes remember to say thank you.
I lost my sweet Daddy November 3rd, 2017. Sometimes, the grief comes, "How do you say goodbye"? I was 57...but I was a little girl again. West Nil, July 9th, 2012 took his ability to walk again, learning to do life on different terms. I'm thankful for the talks we had, during moments he needed help to learn things. We etch them in our hearts.
When I heard this song, I thought....my Daddy is walking again, tending a beautiful garden and drinking coffee.
Thank you Reba, for sharing your journey.
Kelley
All Reba's stuff is great
Hello there Patricia nice meeting you here
I lost my mama a week ago and I don't know how to say goodbye or even breath. She would have been 89 next month. I was adopted and I grew up riding and showing horses my whole life. My parents didn't ride but they worked hard everyday just to make sure I had horse and everything I needed to ride and show. What a blessing they were. Dad's been gone 10 years and my mom was my best friend. I'm so lost and this song really hit home. Run just like the horses mama.😪💔
Imagine them watching you with all of your horses.
Animals don't have a soul so, you can't meet them in heaven all we can do is love them while they're here
PS I am 89 years old wiith the last statement
@sam you are wrong
Animals do have souls.
Christina, awesome childhood.
Reba is so unique. And what a talent, voice and great character. I love her heart and honesty. :)
Just lost my boxer dog 1 week ago, I hope he is running around heaven. Loved that dog!
He is in Heaven. And you'll see him again someday.
7/1/19 my boxer Lulu had 6 pups. Life goes on.
Absolutely beautiful. 😪
It's hard to let them go, but every day with them is a blessing. I have had Boxers all of my life :)
All dogs go to Heaven
This song breaks my heart for a good reason 💔. Miss you mom.
Thank you Reba. Today is a hard day as we are going up to say goodbye to my father in law. i needed this song. Gave me a few mins to cry before I have to be strong for my hubby and my mother in law.

Everyday is not complete until I play this song. It just reaches my soul. God bless you Reba and the songwriters and production team.
Honestly how do you ever say goodbye! To my hero my dad! Whom just passed away!
Thank you Ms. Reba for making this song! After losing my Dad 3 yrs ago to a 5 yr cancer battle, this song helped me with the grieving process! My husband has been in a coma for the past two years due to a fall in a hospital. It's been a long up hill battle, but Our God is a Miraculous Heale I thank you for sharing this video, and as a daughter to another daughter who lost her father...there's no greater love we've experienced.
This video is so beautiful and rebas voice is just so flawless
If this becomes the last Reba album, she will go out on top. Just listen to the perfection here.
ldolphin34 lets just hope it isn’t her last one I can’t live without her music❤️
I love rebea is my favorite 1 fan his she has a voice of angel from above amen
I met Reba a few years ago and had the opportunity to talk to her about her cutting horses. She told me how much her family loved their horses and how deep their love was for them. This was so perfect for her dad. RIP Clark McEntire.

My mom passed just a few months before Reba's Dad, and she understood more than anyone my love for horses. This song is special to me!! 🎶❤️
I lost my Dad to lung cancer in 1992. Broke my heart knowing what he went through. I miss him every day. I'll always love you Daddy.
2021.....5 years on and this song still pulls the heart strings ❤
This is so emotionally heavy. I can tell my dad might not live much longer, he's in his 70s and he's still a heavy smoker, I wish I got along better with him but I don't and I am tired of trying to reach out to him. This is a beautiful song!
Such a Beautiful And Touching Song ..The Video is Beautiful
Tina Bolt Hello joshuawells music love
Love this song sad and beautiful
I had the privilege of being present when a mentor of mine, a wonderful man of God who had grown from the depths of addiction passed into heaven. I hadn't had a lot of fathering and one day I begged God for a man to teach me how to be a Christian husband and father, because I was a failure at that stuff. This man was one the men God put in my life to teach me. My dear mentor Willard died in peace, unafraid, knowing to where he was going. Looking at him lying on this death bed he reminded my of the Apostle Paul. That was some 20 years ago, but I remember him as I live out my ministry to addicts. The most important thing in recovery is to first learn to have an intimate relationship with God and with yourself.

Hi Cindy,hope you’re okay ?
My mama loved horses and so this song hits me hard. Lost her to pancreatic cancer a few years ago. I listen to this song every year around the day of her death. It hurts but is also somehow calming.

My dad has cancer. Wich i could sing this to him today... but i can't sing to save my life even iff it depended on it. Reba wich you were here... Love
Reba I have been your number 1 fan since 2017. In June of 2017 I lost my Great Grandma. Unfortunately I discovered this song after her funeral. Her and my Great Grandpa actually had horses on a 120 acre farm and this song helped me so much. If you can Reba I would love to get in touch with you just to tell you how much you mean to the fans of country music. You and George Strait are the King and Queen of Country Music. Reba you are a true legend and a gift from God. Thank you for all of your songs!
My wife lost her father October 23 and she is a horse woman, we have horses...Her Dad lived at our house...sometimes it is time to run!
