I got one too - it was the only "benchmade" available on @bladehq and I got a Microtech Glykon OTF in OD Green and brushed Ti. Harken back to 1985. I was buying the original custom-made in Burbank California, Balisongs with hand ground blades by Jody Samson and ordering directly from the staff including Les D'Asis. The handles were quite heavy, being milled out of stainless steel billets with a variety of dovetailed inserts. The weight wasn't necessarily an issue because the aerial acrobatics practiced so widely today by the flipper crowd were mainly absent. The emphasis was on open, use it, and close it, with maybe a single or double flip point up or point down done in the process... The price range was $200 to $300.
