Let's Grow Stuffing Cucumber aka Slipper Gourd - Lovely Jubbly!

Have you grown a vegetable called ‘stuffing cucumber’ aka Slipper Gourd/Caigua? If not, give it a whirl. It’s a climber, will grab onto anything and will make it's way to the top just like climbing beans.
A crunchy vegetable, a similar taste to cucumber, eat it raw, perfect for cooking too accompanied with nan bread, chapattis…a lovely season supply of these lovelies.

Other names for this vegetable are Acocha and Caigua, it's an ancient Peruvian vegetable from the Andes.

It taste great. Widely available on eBay by reputable sellers, buy once and collect the seeds end of season!
