    It was an easy installation and plowing snow will now be much easier and more fun.

    Good video. Consider getting hand guards. They really do a nice job keeping wind off your hands. Hand grip warmers are good too.

      Thank you 😊 great tip l will consider that. Handle warmer is added to it, it’s great now when we have -25 Celsius outside 🥶

    Gracias por mostrar como quitar nieve con Polaris, tiene fuerza de sobra. El sistema de enganche es muy fácil, buen trabajo.

    Nice looking rig. The one thing my local Polaris does when they sell the Glacier plow is toss the eye hook. They literally have an entire drawer full of them. They suggest a $9 rubber cable stop. It gives you no room for error when you lift your plow, and if you just once hit the end of the hook you snap your cable. But l think your idea of the orange tag is great, and wish I had bought the the better rims

      Thanks for watching. Yes I have the "Auto stopper" on my winch so I don't have to risk snapping the wire of.

    The title 2021 570 SP caught my eye. I have the exact vehicle except its a 570 EPS, with the same plow setup. I've had a winter to test it out, here's what I found that may help you. When tilting the blade..you will find that the weight of the snow will actually cause the locks to pop unlocked, you'll find your red handle will be up. When plowing into a snowbank while tilted it will pop off the support knobs on one side. I stopped tilting as much as possible, it just isn't stable. While off the vehicle check the red handle adjusting nuts to make sure they are correctly adjusted and tight so that don't go loose. I would suggest you get a 6 inch flap of 1/4 inch rubber the length of the blade and install to the top of the blade to curl over the snow instead of it coming over the top when the blade gets full. I have also snapped off both boots/feet from the blade. Adjusted correctly, the driveway pad was higher than the other. It sheared them off like butter. New ones were more heavy duty than stock. Getting ready for a second winter in Michigan and have noticed that my winch rope doesn't look very healthy. I'll replace it next year if it makes through this one. OH BTW. My machine has a recall for a wiring harness that has gone bad. It effects the front brakes going out and possibly causing a fire. Watch out for that. Polaris hasn't got a fix yet. Just wait till you start replacing all the fluids, its no fun. Tell me if you ever find a fuel filter...lol Take care and have fun

      Hello
      I haven't noticed that the lock unlocks when I plow but I will immediately check that all the screws are tight. Good idea with the rubber on the top of the blade, I will probably try it out. I got the letter from Polaris about the recall regarding the cable, I am going to the dealer for the 50 hour service so they can then tape the cable then. Thanks for your comment, take care.

    Nice that you use an atv for plowing your driveway there in Sweden. Your driveway is a bit bigger than mine and I have used my atv for plowing for years now 🙂
    I Sweden Cfmoto is most sold brand for years, so you didn't buy it to save good amount of money? 🙂
    Hej från Norge 🙂

      Hi, I have not plowed as much as I hoped to, we got very little snow this season, but so far I’m very happy with the machine and the equipment. I have read both good and bad references about CFmoto and so also about Polaris but I hope that I in a long run have chosen the right brand :)

    No hydraulic system.... shitty.... I got my new 2025 with the hydraulic snow plow. It is WAY better than the manual snow plow.

    Hur är den att starta på vintern ? Har du nån motor värmare?

    • @FiveAcreHomestead
      @FiveAcreHomestead  Рік тому +2

      Jag har inte upplevt några problem med att starta den när det är kallt, jag har ingen motorvärmare till den. Men den är ju också rätt ny, endast kört 50 tim med den.

      @@FiveAcreHomestead tror nog att den startar :) men tänkte bara hållbarheten i längden om man inte har en "motor" värmare. Förbereder mig för min atv som jag ska hämta imorgon.

    How much did you pay for the plow?

    • @FiveAcreHomestead
      @FiveAcreHomestead  11 місяців тому +1

      Vi köpte allt i ett paketpris, atv, plog och timmervagn tror att det var ca 5500kr för plogen då för 2 år sedan
