I bought a 2019 570 SP. Have not had my first ride yet. This definitely wetted my appetite. Thanks!
A very passionate review I love it I own a 570 SP 2018 love it.
awesome trails there, thanks for sharing your adventures!
You made my morning, so glad you appreciate the video. I love the trails also...best part of the ride. Stay safe have a great holiday.
Thanks for the scenery! Beautiful time of year to ride that place.
Matt it is becoming my favorite time of year to ride. Happy Holidays
That’s some amazing terrain!
I watches video last week and reas aome of the comments as well and i decided to go get onw i got the 2019 polaris sportsman 570 i have had it 2 days and so fare i absolutely love the 4 wheeler thank you for videos and to the others tht have commented about the 570 it helped me decide with one to get
Great, i'm happy for you. Fun ATV ride safely, if it is your first ATV take a safety course.
We bought Polaris 570 this january. We just love that machin. Strong and easy to ride. Made a couple videos plowing snow.
Knut Einar Bekkevold it has a ton of low end grunt. Enjoy your machine and thank you for watching.
Thanks for the nice ride footage fella. Just bought a 1000 like yours and have a 570 in transit for my son. Sounds like the 570 was the right decision for him by your comments. Love my 1000 after first 2.5 hrs today!
My wife and I have 570sp 2ups we love them! We ride all over Colorado and it amazes me how fast and how much torque they have. We climb some pretty steep hills some that we would never think we would be able to go up on these machines but they just go! Love them, they are so much fun! Oh the downhill dissent on the SP‘s is wonderful especially for a big guy like myself who has a lot of weight on the machine it never even slides if it is in the Down hill dissent mode!
Shawn Hager I’m happy you enjoy your machines, I have hill dissent and have never used it, uphills make me nervous. Thank you for watching you have a beautiful area to ride!
Had my 2018 570 about 6 months and freaking love it. I ride in the mountains and challenging rides with lots of rocks. I usually have mine in low gear most often and the torque is crazy. I keep up with the 700 Kodiaks and 850 sportsmans no problem. Recently put big horns on it and skid plates. Love my Polaris 570. Thanks for the vid, subbed.
Thomas Bates thank you for subscribing, and I’m thrilled you like your 570 it is a work horse. I truly believe low end torque and being lightweight it’s tough to beat.
So you keep up with 850 sportsmans in a drag race? Or going up grade? 78hp vs 46hp is a HUGE difference and i dont buy your statement...
@@MS-gr2nv What did you think he meant on a drag strip? He obviously meant trail riding you nut.
I just purchased 2 of the 2019 Polaris 570 SP. Very good running, not too difficult to handle, even for my wife. She really enjoys this machine.
What a fantastic video, well done I'm considering one of these 570's though I'm also considering a SXS for trail riding only(I already own a Polaris Ranger 800XP I bought new). Thanks for the great review and scenery.
Love it. Great video. picking up a Polaris 570 03 April 20. Will be my first Polaris. Ive had Yamaha and Kawalsaki now going Polaris.
WILLIAM DWAYNE I hope you love your machine thank you for commenting 😊
Fun video, I am now looking into one of these!
Polaris did a great job redesigning the 570. I hope you enjoys thank you for commenting 🙂
Awesome video! As you know I have the XP1000, my brother-inlaw just bought the 570EPS, man and I can't wait to get on it!! Oh yes the trees are beautiful
Loving those trails man.
Mark Carkner I’m glad! If you like the woods they are very pretty. Thank you
I am in process of buying the new 2020 polaris 570 i was accually looking at the 850 but for less money and just as good I decided to go with the 570 thank you for the video it helped me make my decision
SYLVIA BAKER you’re welcome, enjoy your machine 😊 thank you for commenting.
I was looking at a base 850 but decided on the premium 570 for a little less money! I love the Orange Rust color and the other upgrades worked for me. First new quad!
I love the video I love to see people having fun riding ATVs felt like I was the one doing the riding
Can’t beat the ride of a Polaris!! You’re having too much fun out there !! I’m envious of those snowy trails! Great video
When i watch Canadian, Kentucky and Utah riders i get envious also. I guess we need to appreciate the trails in our backyard first. Thank you making me feel good!
Impressive machine!! Thanks!
Thomas that machine could pull around those hills easily...you're right. Thank you glad you liked the video.
I got the 21 450eps. Love it. Going to get the 570 and give the 450 to my son. Great video
I just purchased a 2019 570 sportsman touring 2 up... and that little mama will cut a rug as well... I love it..🤟💞
Christina Hinson awesome hope you enjoy your machines happy New Years 😊
Christina Hinson : My 83 year old father just bought one. I took it for spin around his yard. Nice bike and plenty of power! Not sure what he's gonna do with it. I told him to take it easy and not break his neck on it! How our roles got reversed is beyond me!
I know this video is older but still enjoyed it. We just ordered two 2022 570 Trail Editions and can't wait to get them !!
Seriously fun atv...you don't need a 1000 to have fun on the trail. I hope they arrive soon be safe
My 2nd 570, I bought a 2021 Trail Edition. I like the new look. I appreciate your reviews. I need to come and ride with you guys. See if mine is a animal!! Thank You 😊
Great video thanks for sharing, Looks like Awesome ATVS and Trails, glad your happy with Polaris, I looked at a 570 Sportsman but was scared to pull the trigger, just heard so many stories of people having problems with them , did my research ,read forums, spoke with Polaris owners, spoke with dealers , just work to hard for my money and couldn’t take the chance of being stranded with my son miles from the truck, I must admit I do see a lot of Polaris’s on the trails, I decided to get 2018 Yamaha Grizzly 700 SE NO REGRETS
Chief and me ATV Riders great great choice very reliable, I’ve looked at them.
@Tsunauticus III our conclusions are the same. If reliability is number one on your list the Japanese manufacturers win, hands down. Suzuki and Yamaha make a reliable product. My friends love Suzuki's, I've researched buying a grizzly. My dealer believes at this time Can Am is more reliable than Polaris, i just purchased a Can Am Defender XMR. Ugh but the trails we run, the ride, stability, ground clearance, machine on board storage and price you can't beat the Polaris. Not to mention the best driving AWD...Maintenance is an issue! Great comment! Maybe you'll see a trail review on a Yamaha. BTW i owned a 2001 Honda Rubicon, not for me ever again.
Really enjoyed the video! I just bought a 2019 570 in green! 1 ride down. Many more hopefully to come!
Brian Dellinger awesome enjoy your machine and hope you have a ton of fun!
How are these 570's holding up? Mine was garbage , i loved the ride and handling . Not real reliable .
I also got one, just waiting for the Delivery. Your Intro is awesome 😂✌️
Awesome please consider sending pictures to marsudermitchelli@gmail.com
I plan on buying this quad , good vid
I've replaced it with a Can Am Outlander, due to the issues i've explained in the video. Good luck with your new ATV.
Love my 17 570 and 17 450 takes anything you can throw at it , 2200 miles and counting
Awesome glad you're enjoying it and thank you for watching the video.
Love my 570 to!!
Eric Putman awesome it’s a fun machine enjoy it and stay safe 🙂thank you for commenting
My brother bought a 570 in 2014. I bought a rancher 420. The rancher is bulletproof proof but not as much fun to ride. Sole it and bought a 570sp. Love the ride and the power. No major problems with the Honda or either of the Polaris’s yet. Bought my brothers 2014 as an extra and it also still runs great.
Jeff Shultz My opinion Honda’s are a good investment, they are a terrible trail machine I owned a Rubicon new in 2000...horrible ride no guts and I had issues with low miles. Japanese bikes are better built than can Am and Polaris, but North American bikes rule the trail. I believe Can Am engineering is much better than Polaris all around more durable but the oil change is aggravating. I suggest you grease your Polaris frequently though.some suspension components can only g bag e greased if disassembled, clean it, check the belt and invest in a trickle chargers and eventually a glass Matt battery. That being said as stated in my video my 570 was a blast on the trail so much torque enjoy your machine o hope you got a good one buddy 😊 I’ll do a comparison video soon.
I just bought a 2022 Sportsman EFI trail, looking forward in riding this animal too, Great video that you have done I'm impressed, ride on
Great ride this day...I hope you have great rides to come. Thank you for supporting my channel.
I love my Rzr turbo, but man do I miss my sportsman 850! nothing like riding a nice quad! nice detailed review, keep em' coming
lauderdalechad I had a turbo fun machine. It’s amazing how different the experience is on s quad. Thank you 😊
Great review 🤝 👍
I have 2012 polaris 500cc
I love it.
I'm gonna be buying one more but a
New one this time.
I'm writing from Italy. You convinced me: next winter I'm going to buy a Polaris 570 2022 edition. At the moment I own a Kymco MXU 300 and I was looking to change it for a bigger one. Definitely you convinced me: next winter I'm changing my Kymco for a new Polaris 570. 10.000 euro, the dealer values my Kymco 3.000 so I'm giving him 7.000 for the new Polaris 2022 edition. Great machine, undoubtely. Il will be my "horse". Thanks, guys, !!
Good for you that was the most fun I've had on a ride. I hope you get your new ATV soon. I'm 100% Italian...Americanized. God bless you and Italy I was there once.
I have loved Polaris sportsman since my first 335 I got my 1999 500 I love but I have been looking to add the 570 to the fleet this ride looks fun
Justin this was a special ride for me, a ton of fun. The machine was very light, and maneuverable. Honestly one of my favorite rides. I cannot ride like this with my big bore machines, if i mash the throttle on a big bore i'd be in the tree...I just can't control the power. Enjoy your machine, thank you for commenting, and stay healthy.
awesome! I love winter riding, I always seem to find mud tho lol
Thank you, some machines have mud magnets in them! I’m afraid of the mud...ice! Hopefully I’ll finish the video this week explaining why.
I bought 2019 450 sportsman utility and love it great rebate on it as well top speed on mine 50mph
John Babb terrific enjoy your machine stay healthy 😊 thank you for commenting
I completely agree with your feelings. My buddy got a 570 and had it for 2 years before getting a x3xrs. I had the pleasure of riding it back to back with my 850 xp on multiple occasions. The 850 is faster no doubt but the 570 handles amazing, just as predictable under braking and cornering and it is very nimble. I was able to ride it just as hard as the 850. Clearly the 850 was faster between the corners but i was perfectly happy with the 570. I would absolutely ride one again without complaints.
Im 330 lbs 6 foot 2. Im not small and it was wonderful. I imagine a smaller person around a “average” size and weight would find it to be a very impressive machine.
I bought a 450 H.O and I’m 5’7” 200 pounds.. I love my machine
"... maintaining the machine is part of the hobby". I'm thinking of getting one, that's a good attitude -- I would think the same.
Looks like fun!
Rick this was a fun day and a great ride. Thank you for supporting my channel.
I'm sorry I missed the Premier! It said it was going to be Wednesday night when I saw it this morning.. I never sleep the night before a ride!!! Those CSTs are the same tires I had on the XP1000 base model.. They didn't hold up long but they hooked up pretty good at first... I guess you don't always need the big boy to have fun huh? Awesome video!!
Dirt ObseXXion my fault on the premier not yours. Ugh 😑 I will try again. Tires did well this day. Thank you
just purchased a 570 touring, ill be taking it to the Snirt run on tug hill for its maiden voyage!...lol found a 2018 leftover at my local dealer, my 1st polaris atv ive owned. i was a Banshee rider in my younger years, im excited about the sportsman now much more comfortable than those old race machines im used to.
Great news take care of it, keep those bushings greased. Snirt is a great place to break in the machine. Let me no if you have further questions.
Well, I guess we jumped the time ahead? Lol. Good vid. I've owned a 2010 500 h.o. and a 16 1k and liked them both. This time was black and yellow. 😊
NINJA DAVIDSON the legendary Sportsman 500 HO knocked Honda off the sales pedestal!!! All started with the 500
The shady Lane creek bottom @12:35 is one of my favorite areas. Notice the dirt on the bottom of tracks, it makes for great traction and good exceleration up the hill. Some of these hills are steeper than the video shows. Momentum sure helps. This is a great video and represents the wonderful riding at Demon ATV Trails. What makes it fun also is the always changing conditions at Demon. Marauder you always make good videos. Keep them coming and soon I expect to see the new Can Am.
Jerry please thank your crew for making the Demon trail so beautiful...my favorite spot. Thank you!
Jerry I just bought my first Polaris , used went on a ride with a friend , it was. About 30 miles , my ride is A sportsman 700 EFI it runs great , rides the same I am very happy with it.
i just got a 2021 570 with ebs and eps love it ebs on steep hills is unbelivabl
I have a 2003 Sportsman 500 HO which I love, and just rode my Buddy's 2016 570, and I am going to UPGRADE, the ride and handling is amazing!
Rusty the 500 HO made Polaris as you know, great machine! You'll love the 570. Thank you for watching my channel and commenting. God Bless and ride safely.
Just ordered my new one today, pick it up next Tuesday, and plan on hitting the trail next weekend!
Got the new one!! Picked it up Tuesday, has .02 miles on it, in the barn. It's been raining everyday in NW Ohio. BUT I AM GOING TO GO AND TEAR IT UP SUNDAY!! I did not get the power steering tho. Seemed like a lot of money for that, and I have survived this long without it.
Just got a 570 yesterday don’t have it yet did not have the color I wanted can’t wait to ride
Parker blomberg I hope you enjoy the machine. Good machine have fun. Let me know if you need help.
I have a Polaris 1,000XP, but I’m thinking of buying 2 of these for my sons. They look like they got some power, and I subscribed to you man.
I have changed over to Can Am, please listen to my con comments in the video. I do think the 570 is a good machine, and hopefully Polaris has fixed the issues I mentioned in the video. I do need to upload a follow up video explaining why i changed to Can Am. I feel the 570 is a good machine for adults and older mature children. It is a full frame very stable machine. You know i'm a big bore rider...but the 570 in most brands are enough for most of us. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions. Thank you
Marauder Mitchelli what’s your opinion on the Can-Am 570 ? Been looking at that one, as well.
@@erichkaufmann5284 I think it is good. Also I think that can-am is sportier and better on dirt roads etc. but polaris in more comfy to drive and a little bit better in off roading.
I believe the Holy Spirit led me to this video. I’m from Steuben County, NY and was thinking about which four wheeler to get. For many reasons, you have helped me make that decision.
What a beautiful comment Jay thank you. There are so many great machines maybe ride a couple. No doubt this ATV was a blast this day. Be safe and good luck with your new machine.
you didn't "let it rip" like you said ... that can tear some stuff up and you didn't do it bro :) not negative .. thank you for posting this video sir.
I must be a coward...at my age that's ripping or my hairpiece will fall off. Stay healthy i'm glad you liked the video.
This video is what made me buy a new 2019 570sp. 8400 otd with plow system and 2500lb winch helped make the choice also
Chris I hope you enjoy your stout machine it’s a work horse. I recommend greasing every 8 hours of ride time more frequent if water and mud. Thank you your comment made my day!😊
I’m pulling the trigger on this machine, tomorrow. Is EPS (power steering) worth the additional cost?
Idk man. Depends what you want. I went with the sp which is more than i needed but i got it ( the atv itself) for what i would have bought an eps for so i grabed it. It is nice though
@@rianwater1229 definitely get power steering, i believe it to be a must.
The blue tarp @19;15 is called Macgyvers and soon will have a building there. It's usually a place we stop for a coffee break.
Thank you.....its changed my mind
John & Tina, please note i don't have any Polaris ATV's anymore. Over the last 9 months i've traded my Polaris machines for Can Am machines. This does not mean you should not purchase a Polaris ATV, but please note the honest positive and negative comments i made in this review. You may wish to watch it again. My son misses our Sportsman 570, the machine that replaced it is a Outlander XTP 1000 Max. I kind of miss the Sportsman, it was light and nimble. Don't hesitate to ask me questions. thank you
@@John-uv7zp as per the comments in my video, Dave was still replacing engine mounts on his second, brand new Sportsman 450, sister machine to the 570. My mounts were good one was suspect. I've always wanted to try Can Am. I'd watch this video again and watch my Can Am video's. changing oil on the Can Am is brutal though.
I have the same atv 2017 570 sp love it only issue i have is battery and im doing a relocate for it wife has a 2018 450ho and is just as stout
shaun schollaert batteries are junk. I bought a glass Matt battery from battery and bulbs with a 2 year warranty it is great. Also recommend a charger maintainer. The voltage regulators are suspect on both your machines 2/3 of the riders I know have replaced them. They are stout tho!!!!
I had problems with engine mounts three times on my 2017-570 ,I swapped them out finally with Ford Falcon transmission mounts, problem solved. DTM6021061 from NAPA, very inexpensive. I really enjoyed your video ,here in Quebec we never stop riding year round.
Our guys researched those falcon mounts, glad they worked for you. 570 is a fun machine God’s speed brother Canada 🙂
Just bought a 2020 Polaris sportsman 570, get to pick it up this weekend!!
Enjoy your atv, let me know how you like it. thank you for watching stay healthy
👍 Just bought one yesterday only rode it like 20 minutes yesterday but love it so far
what a ride what a ride what a ride the mud the mud the mud
Lol…an astronaut said that as the lem took off from the moon, very happy you liked it. Thank you for commenting.
please do this ride again,,,,,but at night if possible
We probably could but our guys don’t ride at night, non of our lights are bright enough, maybe in the future. Thank you for commenting stay safe 🙂
I bought a 2019 sportman put bigger aggresive tires and a lift kit. Since then I have taken the tires off and lift kit. The 570 driveshafts dont like the big aggresive tires and with the lift you should replace the axles. I did but after tearing the stock up. All around I love the machine runs for hours but dont think its one to jack up to high!! Good invesment...
I agree with your comment keep it stock. Thank you for commenting and i'm glad you enjoy your machine.
They are excellent quads! I have a 2017 570 EPS Touring, I have 0 power issues even with tow people on the Atv.
Only complaint is the agressive EBS. I’ve had multiple Polaris’s 500 and I find the 570 has the most agressive ABS. Which can cause skidding and loss of control when ridding agressive as you experienced in this video.
Apart from that it’s the best bang for your buck Atv on the market. Lots of power potential with aftermarket clutching and exhaust etc.
Hi Erik I’ve heard the newer models have less aggressive clutching and engine braking. The 570 is a torque master, great machine. Inspect your engine mounts and bushings…grease frequently. I may be crossing over to the darkside and trading the 570 for a Can Am Outlander XTP or XMR. I my viewers would still be interested in watching my videos. Thank you for commenting.
Marauder Mitchelli you’re correct on the EBS, they’ve toned it down a bit. I grease my bushing almost every ride with marine grease so it doesn’t wash away as easily. A friend of mine has a can am and he loves it, not a as smooth of a ride tho he said. Plus he did have many electrical issues. Something to consider. I’ve had 0 issues with mine thus far after 2000km
You’ve done a great job maintaining your machines…greasing is critical. Can Am’s have their issues. Ugh…i’ve got to scratch that itch though.
Parker blomberg I didn’t know it had abs, if you mean the engine brake the answer is not easily. They were going to town down the engine brake as it was very aggressive.
I am considering buying one. actually does most things a dual sport bike can do. I had a kymco 500 but I didn't like it. but I am still wondering if I should get an adventure or enduro bike... your video is quite convincing.
You guys need to load up your bikes and head to my state of West Virginia!!!!
If you love riding hills and valleys and streams...... you too can be in Almost Heaven (our state motto).
You're not kidding you're half way to heaven. Thank you for the invite I should plan a family trip to WV. Be safe
Definitely late in the game with this video but outstanding job. I have a 20' 570 premium with now 2000 miles and it's been outstanding. Had a seal go out in 5 months that now clutch has slipped ever since a tad but it's ok. Squeaky brakes that the dealer says are normal that drive me nuts but again kinda cosmetic as work great. The one thing that forced me to finally trade it was when in town which occasionally I had to the engine brake was so loud and hard you seriously upset townfolk as going up to stop signs it just hammered to a stop. It wasn't adjustable. It was simply too loud and extreme of an engine brake. Otherwise I miss that machine it was one in a lifetime.
Brandon I don't think it has the best components...most people I know that have had this machine have many issues with it. Out of all the machines I've had this machine was the most fun on the trail...seriously it was a lot of fun. I miss it also at times, but I don't miss turning a wrench on it. Be safe and glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice video :)
Sure does look like fun. I recently bought a 450 utility for my property and plowing. Definitely heading out to demon run thanks to your videos.
Rickster wonderful they very nice people and beautiful trails. Thank you for watching.
Yesterday I made the agreement with the dealer: a Sportsman of 2021 with 2.000 kms. 9.000 euros. I give him back my Kymco and in addition 6400 euro, 6.000 for the Polaris and 400 for the change of ownership. I'll have it between the last days of september and the first days of october. It's white. I'll consider it as my horse...you know, like in the 19th century...
BTW, some years ago I spent some time in Kerrville, TX, at the Schreiner Univ, I presented there a work written by me about an etruscan aqueduct underground of the 5th century before Christ still working. Full of radioactivity like an uranium ore mine. I travelled the desert by the mexican border. I LOVE USA !!!! Yes, I love it. I'd like having studied in an american university, sorry I couldn't afford it. I teach chemistry and I prepare my lessons on the video lectures of MIT chemistry courses. I love America, great people, great nation !!!
Sir what an interesting life you’ve lead. I’m glad you like our country those of us who live here often forget how great it is. I hope you enjoy your new Polaris stay safe…you did say where you live?
I think these 570s are such a powerful machine and Polaris just did everything right on it. It has an awesome value
I would put a 570 against any single piston atv on the market 🙂stay healthy
You should try a renegade 850 xxc! Nimble, powerfull yet lightweight. Be perfect for those trails. Nice sportsman btw!
I'm sure they're excellent but they can't carry anything and you get extremely muddy because the fenders are small. But those truly are the motocross bikes of 4x4.
Marauder Mitchelli Yes they are! What you state is true though. But you should try one if you get the chance to.
The 570 is a good platform. Whats crazy is the hp you can pick up doing an ecu tune on these motors.
rzl07375 I’ve tuned diesel trucks but never atv’s or sxs. I may tune the xmr we’ll see. The engine is a torque monster! Thank you 😊
How much is the average price for one of these things? I found one on craigslist, 0 issues, about 15 hours, perfect condition and they are asking for $1500 USD. Isnt it too cheap?!
n n that sounds way too cheep they do depreciate...I don’t have enough information like the year. So it’s not strange that a atv could have 15 hours and be 10 years old. The manufacturer sites have list prices, and Blue Book should have used cost. New a base 570 maybe 7k add power steering add 1.1k and xp loaded model like mine add 1.2k hope this helps.
@@maraudermitchelli Be aware of craigslist scams as you probably know, if the price seems to good to be true it very well is probably a scam. My BIL bought a clean used 2005 Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI from the original owner last July 2018 that had 795 original miles and I don't remember exact hours, but it was less then 150 hrs. Have gave $3400 USD . This was in the North Texas area, region has a lot to do with prices though. Although there are those very rare occasions when maybe a divorce is involved, and the wife gets the goodies to sell cheap to PO the ex husband.
NLINE7 thank you when I sell stuff on Craig’s list it usually never last long once they see it. Thank you man !
Give it to me baby and she wants it!!! Lol!!!
lol…i don’t understand it either. I truly get that excited over a machine and a great ride. Sometimes i get home and am excited days after a ride. Sex is the last thing on my mind when i ride…i have to work on my comments. Thank you for watching.
Beautiful trails and trees...less talking and more engine noise please! Thank you for sharing.
I get so excited...and i know i talk too much. Watch my recent Rocky Gap video the woods are amazing. Stay healthy.
Great video! I have the same machine and really enjoy it. If I could offer a suggestion, I watch a lot of videos on here and it would be great to know where you are (location) is where your riding private? I wish all U-Tubers would give more info in the description. Would help to know more about the vid. Thanks!!
Ted Hardulak I will try to give more trail location info. Thank you for commenting!
I have a 2021 450 and I think I cracked the housing for the belt, because it fills with water very easily.
I’m sorry you must run deep water o maybe it’s not seated properly. I hope it’s a simple fix
What cameras are you running? Audio quality is nice and they seem to capture dirt and snow textures nicely while moving. I had a sportsman 570 previously, my experience is semi like yours. Ended up selling it, just not reliable enough and Polaris corporate is useless.
Tittle Diesel Performance LLC I’m sorry you sold your Polaris, life is great on the Can Am side of the sport until you change the oil. I hope Polaris gets their act together. I’ve had huge channels ask me what Cameras I use. Gopro 7 and 8, the sound is excellent. The camera is mounted on my helmet chin guard in front of the vents...having a big mouth helps...that’s probably the answer. Thank you for commenting 😊 stay healthy!
Hi, heard of the regulator issue f and saw a video of a fellow Canadian that found out why the blow. The wires chafe on the frame on the right side near the drive shaft. Might want to check it on your machine.
@@maraudermitchelli her is the link to the video ua-cam.com/video/sth8jNvxxIE/v-deo.html
Great video. I am currently thinking of buying my first ATV, a Polaris 570 EPS X2, since I will be moving into a new house which has a driveway that will need plowing in the winter time. It will also be used for towing å canoe down to the sea which is a bit away, and to do a bit of road driving. But I am a bit concerned about the durability over time, like, will it last me 15-30 years, or should I get a cheap and old farming tractor since they are built for work and durability. I think an ATV would suit my purposes better than a farming tractor, but there is just the question of will it last me the time I need, durability wise. Any thougts on that would be greatly appreciated.
Well you know i have both. Please watch my video again (and read my response to comments below), i really like Polaris but they do have some maintenance needs which other atv's don't. If you're not mechanically inclined i would recommend purchasing an extended warranty service plan. All machines even tractors break and need annual maintenance, this is critical for them to last 15-30 years. If you a canoe and live by the water you must be an adventurous person...who's living in their dream home...awesome! A tractor can't trail ride, an ATV will give you the opportunity to experience the outdoors like you've probably never done before. You must take an atv training course which Polaris will give you 2 free passes for a course. Can Am also has 2 up machines that will plow. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions i'm glad to help.
Just got myself a 2021 570 .... trail edition (with plow to push snow in my business parking lot) .... I immediately thought I should have gotten the 850 .... But if I had bought a 4000 I would want 4200 .....this is a mean machine.
Yes we always want more. The 570 is a little monster, i miss ours. I hope you enjoy it.
I have a 570 2014 model with over 4000 miles on it. Original everything other than a new fuel pump. Oil changes by meter. Only complaint I have is my dealer hit me for $800 plus change for the fuel pump including $200 diagnostics after I told them what the problem was. What a rip-off. Next machine is not coming from that dealer.
I am shopping for my first ATV and the Polaris 450 or 570 is what I'm looking at. Question is, do you know if Polaris has address some of the issues you mentioned in your video? And I am told that parts for Polaris are about 3 times more expensive then other manufactures, is that correct?
I think they have corrected most of them. Not sure if the engine mount issue has been corrected, but that could be how and where you ride as i've looked at engine mounts with 1500 miles that looked new. I switched to Can Am 2 years ago and never looked back...but the Sportsman 570 was a fun machine, big machine for the money, good value. I'd tell you that Japanese bikes are the most reliable...but even they have failures...probably not as many. Make sure you have a good dealer that will help you with issues with Polaris. I never purchase this, but if you're concerned purchase an extended warranty. Polaris says they corrected issues with battery, bushings, hopefully other items like voltage regulator, engine mounts, power steering were also improved. I hope this helps, thank you for commenting.
If anyone knows do the 2019 models have grease fittings beyond the front end? Had an early 2004 sportsman 500 and it basically fell apart when it came to tie roads, berrings etc. The 2004 only had 6 grease fittings I think. Neighbors 2002 500 had 26 fittings and greased it once a week and put nearly 20 000km on it and plowed a 150 ft drive and hauled fire wood. A real work horse. I hope they're much better than my 2004. I want a new one
Roger you are correct and this is why Dave and I no longer own sportsman. There is not enough suspension grease fittings, and if you inspect your machine you will be replacing them. Dave also installed 9 engine mounts in 2 years...I need to do a video on this. thank you for commenting.
@@maraudermitchelli I actually visited my local polaris dealer earlier today. All 2020 ATVs and sxs have 20% larger axles, input shafts and more grease fittings and they claim the drivetrain is balanced differently to reduce vibration. I'll probably make another mistake soon.
CAN You do an other video with the 450?
Pierreluc moi my next video will show Dave’s 450 spinning its tires uphill. I was think I should do a 450 video with my friends Jordan and Dave. We’ll see how it progresses stay tuned.
I’m 55, I’ve had atv’s since i was a kid…my dad bought me and my brother the frist 4 wheeler ever (1983 Suzuki 125) wow the memories! 😂… anyway, after several makes and models i thought id give Polaris another go .. (i had a 2007 RZR) … just 2 weeks ago, i bought a 2024 sportsman 570 hunt edition. Led lights, power steering, EFI, no shifting.. independent rear, heated grips, a winch…the list goes on.. so far very happy. 😊subscribed! 😊
