Yup. Its the same with Galarian Zigzagoon and Hoennian Zigzagoon. While we call them Alolan Exeggutor and Galarian Zigzagoon, we actually need to call them Exeggutor and Zigzagoon, while we should refer to their Kantonian and Hoennian variants the Kantonian Exeggutor and Hoennian Zigzagoon.
It’s not. “Local people take pride in its appearance, saying this is how Exeggutor ought to look” and “The strong sunlight of the Alola region has awakened the power hidden within Exeggcute” it does better in Alola but not the original form. Galarian Zigzagoon however is the original form while the Hoenn form is a regional
My own take on a kantonian variant Kantonian Relicanth Water/Dragon type with the superior fossil revival technology in Kanto, most Relicanth have been returned to their former glory and rival the likes of Gyarados as "KIng of the sea".
I really hope Skitty gets some kind of attention some day, I really like this variant you made, she looks like she would act cute so you adopt her and then destroy your entire house, diva ❤
If that's true, then there is a chance of the fact they're others that needed to have Kantonian Forms. One of them might include a Poison/Flying-Type Ducklett. Besides, there's a lot of real-life poisonous ducks that fits the type combo respectively
Sun and Moon was the first time I really started paying attention to Pokémon news and the hype season was so much fun. There was always something new to talk about every week, whether it was actual news about the games or leaks and rumours that may or may not have been real. Those really were the good ol' days...
Yes, more please, more more! I've made a few regional forms myself that are "wilder" versions of existing Pokemon, implying that the Pokemon we already know is actually the domesticated version. For example, I created a Ground type Spoink, and Ground/Fighting type Grumpig. They are based on wild hogs and the implication being that they are sort of ancestors to both the Tepig and Swinub lines, as well as the Hoenn Spoink line obviously.
I can't wait for the next video relating with this but don't forget sometimes the pokemon that we know could could have evolution beyond the 1 or 2 stage that Either from their original place where they came from or lost because of many years. Example galarian Zigzagoon and Hisuian qwilfish.
I REALLY like these formes! Just watching them as ideas makes me so happy to see. I want a Kantonian skitty and give it a warm home!❤ If you'd like to know what I would have done, I would Make kantonian Cacnea an Steel type due to the technological motifs of Kanto, and Kantonian Cacturne would share a typing with Magneton line. The idea behind is is that The Cancea would be imported as decorative plant, but they didn't adapt well to Kantonian soil, so Silph needed to get creative to save the Cacneas.
It would be cool to see a future game set in a futuristic Kanto or at least a Kanto where a good amount of time has passed. Seeing Kantonian forms and new evolutions would be cool. I can see a new evolution for Me. Mime, Kantonian Incineroar becoming a sumo wrestler with the Fire/Fighting type, and Kantonian Dreepy being either Dragon/water or Dragon/ Flying types.
Honestly thought they would do Sinnohan forms for the gen 4 remakes before it became clear what form the sinnoh remakes were taking. Like we technically did get them with the Hisuian Pokémon, but I was expecting the next remakes since regional forms to use that gimmick to add a little something new to the remakes. I think the Canea pair miss the mark a little. Regional variants do a little more than just recolouring and I didn’t notice any design changes on cacnea (though if they’re there and just subtle, that might still be enough.) And I feel like Cacturne would be where the variance is pushed further than it is. More of a shape change, a more pronounced gimmick, etc. I think you had something there but would just need a revision.
Cool designs, but absol seems like one of the few Pokémon that shouldn't have a regional forme. I feel that its mythical nature surpasses regions - its just the bearer of bad news, wherever it goes.
Kantonian Exeggutor is the variant, since Alolan is supposedly the "true" and "natural" form, until humans take it to Safari Zones and it has to adapt

@@johnroberts524Then you got Galarian Corsola, who went f*cking extinct (hence the Ghost-type)
My own take on a kantonian variant
Kantonian Relicanth
Water/Dragon type
with the superior fossil revival technology in Kanto, most Relicanth have been returned to their former glory and rival the likes of Gyarados as "KIng of the sea".

Skitty’s move “caterwaul” deals 30 sound based damage and lowers either evasiveness or attack by one stage at random. 15pp
Kantonian and Hoennian Absol having a Yin-Yang color swap vibe, intentional or not, PEAKS.
kantonian absol is SO PRETTY
If that's true, then there is a chance of the fact they're others that needed to have Kantonian Forms. One of them might include a Poison/Flying-Type Ducklett. Besides, there's a lot of real-life poisonous ducks that fits the type combo respectively
8:20 Now it's even edgier!
this was a missed opportunity for let's go pikachu and eevee
If Kanto had Regional variants, the majority of them would probably be Poison-types.

There are no dark types in kanto/gen 1, so its fun that you did that

Kantonian Absol is SOOOOO good! I absolutely love it

Great video. Love to see other pokemon from other regions get Kantonified

I remember counting down for Pokemon games.
Let's do it again for gen 10.
id love to see a part two of this video adding some more types for lance and i guess now agatha does have one more mon!😁

i think it would be funny if the kantonian forms were just like if x pokemon was made in gen 1
Skitty is so me frfr, all of the Kantonian Pokemon you did are pretty cool!
2:45 Oh hey look, it me.
Best way to make a kanto form: remove a type or add/swap poison

Yeah 100% agree with the Cacnea lot, I almost omitted them from the video because I wasn’t fully convinced with them - perhaps a revamp is in order 😤
skitty is cute and I love the vibe of the absol!
2:41 who is this DIVA💜
KYEPHA, TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! and also, maw
Happy birthday!!! 😁😁

The thing with the dark type skitty is that I don't think it fits Kanto. There are NO dark types in Kanto
MEOW
Not solar are lunar.
great vid, home you'll get more exposure soon :3
