Humility and Family, good thing that your Dad was there. That will be a memory that will be brought up over and over again. Happy you're back on track! 😉👋👍
Good job. Mistakes happen and we learn from them. Onward and upwards. Keep going. Thanks to your dad for helping you. You can do this. You are a hard worker. This has been a little set back. 👏👏👏 🙋🏻🇨🇦
Absolutely, I use one to set the original posts, and plan to use again to shim the cabin back to perfect level, however I can’t see the line when it is a sunny day, so I’m waiting for a cloudy day
I think the 'big misrake' last episode showed you and us that the foundation of your log cabin (just resting on upright short logs) was flimsy. l magine what a 100 mph snow storm would do to your cabin if you don't correct the unstableness of your foundation.
Indeed, even less stable than before. The good news is that it isn’t going anywhere, unless someone comes through with an excavator… and I’m not letting that guy drive thru there anymore.. 😂

Yes indeed! We certainly won’t forget this one anytime soon! Won’t be the last I hear about it, I’m sure! Haha
Took the words out of my mouth. I had to delete my comment when I looked underneath it and saw almost the same words. lol.
Between the shed and the magic you worked on fixing the cabin, you are indeed the puzzle master!
Haha I love that nickname, going to tell my wife that one.. it was certainly an error I’ll never forget!
Glad the cabin is set in place. You are doing a great job.
Me too!! Phew! Thank you for the compliment!

Thank you Jack!!!!! 🇺🇸
You were lucky it never collapsed altogether keep up the good work
Thank you! Yes very fortunate it stayed up on the front three posts, would have been much more difficult recovery if it fell off those!

Semper Fi
Thank you! I actually thought of that saying the night I was planning how to fix the mistake! “Keep on keeping on”
@@DemasiLogCabin you're welcome. That saying has definitely helped me throughout life. Glad it helped you!
Do you not feel a lazar level would be an great thing to have on this build?
Absolutely, I use one to set the original posts, and plan to use again to shim the cabin back to perfect level, however I can’t see the line when it is a sunny day, so I’m waiting for a cloudy day
So glad that it turned out okay. 😊 P.S. Have a great and safe week.
Thank you, such a relief! 🙏 you also have a great week!
You to buy your dad a big steak dinner lol .
I definitely owe him!!
Did you say you are going to,take it down anyway?
Yes, when I get the permanent foundation set, it will be moved piece by piece to it’s finally rest spot.
good work
Thank you!! 🙏
That’s what Dads are for.
Agreed!👌
👍

The log posts are temporary, the cabin is built here while drying, once completed I’ll disassemble and move to a permanent foundation.
I don't wish to sound mean but like driving a car you always have to pay attention to everything.
That’s right, a good lesson , don’t think I’ll make that mistake again
Ist und bleibt unstabil.

Erst baut man den Boden und dann die Seitenwände
Traditional construction you are correct, but not with this construction
" Good Luck " 🟢
“Thank you?!? “
