Watching you scribe and notch out all your logs makes me glad I decided to go with a D log style, butt and pass build on my cabin. Maybe if I was 20 years younger I’d have done that cuz it really looks awesome! Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Yes, the scribe and notch is quite a bit more labor intensive, I’m actually enjoying the process more than I had thought I would, probably enjoying it more now because I am closer to being done!
Nice to see you back. Hope you had a great time with family. The cabin is getting there. One log at a time, one day at a time. Those memories built stories will be Amazing to share with grandchildren one day on the porch. 😊. Happy week to you and your Wife ( kids).👍👍👍👍
Right on! That’s right slow and steady! Vacation was good, and gave me the rest I needed at the right time! Hope you’re also having a great weekend!
You make the work look fun! Good to see you back at it. Have a great weekend! 😁👋😉🪵👍
Thank you! I’m enjoying the build,,, 98%of the time! Haha have a good weekend also!!!
Greetings from Rancho de Vegas. My son lives in Sturgis and I was out there two years ago. I must say you are building in some of the most beautiful regions on the planet.
I envy your build and wish you great luck and safety and will follow with great interest as you move forward.
Thank you Ray! Looked at some land outside of Sturgis but ended up buying elsewhere and the green truck you see sometimes on video was also bought off a guy from Sturgis,(maybe your son!) haha thanks for the well wishes and you are correct sure is beautiful country!
Great video and progress! Lots of good stuff this time. Sorry bout your ladder. 💪 All that hard work is showing on the cabin and you lol. C ya next week
Really enjoy your creativity. Learn something new every time I watch your videos. Great work Brother! Look forward to the next one!
Thank you! Always appreciated!! Learn how not to do things too!! 😂have a good weekend!
You did pretty darn good. Just please stay safe 🙏. Now you have some mousers around.
Not sure about what to give the kittens to eat but you should leave some dry food and a bowl of water for the momma cat.
Great idea! Especially the water, she must usually get some from the neighbors, because there isn’t much/any standing water around that I know of.
Mate, you really need more water than that. I'm working in land from the Spanish East coast where we're averaging mid to high 30C's some days dry heat, no wind some days high humidity. I'm getting through around 5 - 6 litres of water easily. Take plenty of breaks, at least twice an hour and get out of the mid day sun regardless of work load. I've learned the hard way with sunstroke, sun burn etc over the years - and there's no job in the world worth your health. Stay safe!
Right on, good advice. I finally learned on Friday brought the 2 gallon jug out, drank easily over a gallon and a half that day!
@@DIYDemasi And I bet you still didn't pee more than once all day ! 😅. Great channel, lovin' the content mate.
Haha, probably pretty close! Thanks man!! Always love hearing from views over seas!
I noticed Gonzaga Basketball shirt you are wearing. One of my favorite Catholic Universities, just curious did you play basketball for them? I discovered your uTube channel about a month ago. I subscribed and really enjoy it. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Glad to have you along for the ride! The shirt is from when I went to a basketball camp there when I was a kid, it’s nearing the end of its life 😅. I played basketball at Southwest Minnesota State a D 2 school.
Barn cats How cool. Just leave out some Scrap food, Meat Fish or cat food.
Progress looks great!! What will you be using for chinking? Love watching your work, you're a real craftsman!!
Thank you! Very kind! I believe I will use a synthetic chinking, I’ve had experience with that in the past and like the look, but also could go with a mortar, haven’t made a final decision yet! Great question!
Turkiyede selam 🎉 umarım boş bi zamaninda dronla bize etrafı gösterirsin.
