Serene paddling for the first 3 minutes, but glad to see you get on some fish. The catfish that you say you caught, are they Hardheads and are they edible?
@leovasquez5016 Yes I love those calm mornings. Yes they were hard heads. I've heard that you can eat them but it depends on personal taste. Thanks for watching!
Those were fun to catch! 🎣The last one had me turned around, good thing kayak has reverse peddling. 😄
Nice video David, your wife is always slaying those black drum 👌👌👌
@AdrianMtz222 Yes Sir she has the gift. 😁 Thanks for watching!

Where did you all launch from?
We launched from the flats on the north side of the SPI convention center. Thanks for watching.
How deep is it where you go? Any alligator sightings or sharks?
It depends on the tide but it ranges from 3 to 5 ft in the channels. I have not seen a gator in a long time. Sharks I have seen but fairly small.
Do you have to anchor? I’m assuming these man made channels don’t lead to the deep ocean? Newbie here just checking.
@Jozuv we have an anchor but rarely use it since the current is usually slow around there. The channels lead out to the bay not the ocean.
