Episode 3, The Proving Grounds, looks at the sustained growth of snowboarding in the Salt Lake Region in both the backcountry and urban concentrations. At the turn of the decade, massive jump builds like Pyramid and Chad's Gap were on the rise and urban features were only getting larger and more dangerous. In Vancpuver you can live downtown and be in any of the 3 resorts under 30min (out of rush hours). That's what I love in this city. 3 Resorts in under 30min, no where else in the world! Ok, the snow is kinda shitty, no heavy pow but still snow.
