- Today we transform this M Bar Flame Lacquer into P Bar. This is for our coming 200 plus kilometres Touring Event. Hope you guys enjoy this video. Please like and leave a comment. Also we need more subscribers. Help us and support this channel! Love U all! Cheers
If that is M-bar to P-bar conversion, and you didn’t have to get longer cables, I guess I’ll be fine converting my H-bar to P, yes? I’m about to do the swap today. Thanks for sharing your video.
Only works with the Mini P bar. Not the actual P bar from brompton.
@@orangbesar I have the very same bars as yours
@@JaydelCorro if it is the same mini P bar, then it should fit nicely. Happy modding!
@Pimped By Obie I just wrapped my bars. Out riding now. Thanks again for the video!
@@JaydelCorro Do you know if they are they equivalent to S and M heights or M and H heights? Or if they are random heights? Also, how are you enjoying them so far?
Your tricks on widen the gap in head tube save my day👍🏻👍🏻😃subscribed👍🏻👍🏻
Nice ! Thanks for sharing 👍
Tq for watching sir!
As also an owner of another flame lacquer, LightweightH6LXBrompton bike I have changed to a black titanium bolt on top of the stem post! And a carbon H handlebar, as I like the shape that way. You are able to buy a "titanium bolt" for the seat post clamp, but I like an "AceOffix" clamp which is lighter, ring-shaped and functions with wedges. 🙂
You love your P bikes, great work 👍.
I have just purchased a P Brompton, which I am fully restoring ( light titanium bits) fresh paint, only to make it 100 °. I intended fitting JK mid riser bars, now not sure 🤔
Please dont. P bar is the most exotic brompton bike. Hahaha
Hmmm.. I think I'd prefer to upgrade those clumsy looking knobs back to the neat little levers that Brompton fit to the hinge clamps. So much more comfortable to operate, too.
The original knobs are to be fully unscrewed, and then lost in nature (I know, but I found mine again!) during folds. This round type is secured with an extra nut in the end, not to be lost, when unscrewed! I have also given them a little paralleliser, to make sure my clamps stay in position for a new fold.
Wow. Beautiful work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks bro for watching our video!
Looking forward for the tannus tires. Very hard to find here in Malaysia.
Looks great
Tq sir!
What a coincidence 😃
I just ordered a black mini P bar today on eBay 👍🏽 great video thanks
How are you enjoyining them so far?
Also do you know if they are equivalant to S and M height, M and H, or just a random height?
Are they carbons/titanium/aluminum or steel?
The black bottle with the green goo that you plut on the hub gear shifter -- what is that substance?
Nice!! 👍👍 returning fan here ☝️😁
Hi! Thank you so much for your support sir! It means alot to us! Cheers and stay safe!
Mine is a flamepainted lightweight, and I have done much of this, though I can't put a pump on my frame, for lack of the piece of wire on its back. I am to change my handlebar to a carbon version, though not a P version, just an ordinary Sport or H type.
For superlite version, there is no place for pump. U can bring CO2 pump in the bag. Carbon handle bar are lightweight and u will feel lest vibration. But i am quite scared to use carbon handle bar and seatpost. I Dont feel safe. Hahaha.
@@orangbesar Brompton now sell a special Brompton marked model, a Chinese Lezyne pump to be to be mounted on the thin struts of the titanium back frame, with two special plastic brackets (Remember to keep the Brompton, cardboard box, as it is a measure for its being mounted on the frame!) . I have bought two of those, as I have misplaced one somewhere! "Brilliant Bikes" in England have a small film on UA-cam, about how to do the actual job. They also sell the pump for Brompton, but sadly they haven't joined the new Brexit Trade System, so it is rather costly for an EU customer, who has to pay extra tax on top for GB not being part of the E.U.
Another beautiful piece of work, thank you. What is the handlebar and does it add much to the weight? Perhaps you could include links to the accessories that you install. This would make it easier to find out about what you are using and might provide income for you when you have built up a (well-deserved) subscriber base?
My own very modest addition is a pair of bar ends facing forward. This gives me a more extended riding position. I have also reversed the seat bracket and slid the seat as far back as possible to maximise it.
Hi bro. Thank you so much for your continuous support. The handle bar is called Mini P. Before 2018, brompton do sell P handlebar, but it was discontinued. This mini version is for M bar owner to convert. Its lighter from the original P bar. Its best for taller rider and touring setup. All item i used are sold online. Very common items. Me my self love this handle bar, i am 6feet 1 (186cm) together with extended seatpost. No more back paint. Haha
Hi I am same height with you too, and I am riding a m type with huge back pain each time so I am consider either changing the stem to H type or handlebar to P type. Th ank you so much for your video. It totally solve my problem but may I know after changing what is the postion of your upper body when riding?more ley back or front? Thank you so much
@@orangbesar A Scandinavian Brompton seems to be delivered with an extended seat post as standard (For our Sins or supposed extreme hight). So I ordered a heavy, telescope seat post, for about the same price as a Taiwanese made "Joseph Kuosac", luxury post of the same kind, to be able to put it in my German B&W travel box, intended for a Brompton size, folded, folding bike. I have later for a try bought a titanium, standard size seat post for test, if it may function during travels (I may pull it out in full to the stop by its wide security end, and it ends up being a little too low for my 184 cm, and it do gets punched a little down in the frame by my 100 kilo weight during rides!)?
@@finncarlbomholtsrensen1188 You should make some videos of your Brompton. Every single Brompton or Brompton clone video that I've watched there was at least one comment of yours. It seems you really lovehate this bike!
Idola at work
Alamak. Idola saya nih!!! Hai idola. Nubis baru nak cuba2 jadi utubers bang.
Love the upgrades you did man! Very classic and unique! Is this a Brompton A LINE model??
No sir. This is equivalent to the C line now. 6 speed.
Seriously considering getting the mini p bar from litepro to replace my S bar because I'd love to ride a bit more upright.
Do you think I could install the brakes on the lower section of the bar? Or would it be impossible?
Thanks, and good job with the wrapping, those are some steady hands!
To be honest. I have never seen anyone install the brake on the lower part of the bar. I think mainly because we need slide in the brake to the bar, and i dont think we can slide all the wat to the lower part. Hehe. But if u wanna try, dont forget to update us yeah? Haha. Cheers.
@@orangbesar will definitely give it a shot and let you know how it went ahah
Take care mate, keep the good content coming, loving your videos! 👍
@@RubenFRS How did it go? Could you slide it all the way to the lower part? I'm super curious about it!
Are all roadbike bar tapes compatible of the length to the P-Bar? I'm planning to switch also to P-Bar.
Yeas. U can use any road bar tapes.
is the P bar taller than the M bar?
Hello, is the Litepro P bar good guality?
Yes. Very good and lightweight.
So do u changing any cable or jus plug & play? Thks!
From M no need. From S need longer cable.
@@orangbesar thks! anyway ur video is great!
@@leetecksheng3166 thank you so much for watching! Do consider subscribing if you haven’t do so ya? Thanks!
The cable still long enough to fold smoothly?
I have also changed many parts to titanium, also the bolt for the Sturmy Archer gear
Sorry - Nut!!
Auch. Quite pricey for minimal weight saving. But it will look nice.
@@orangbesar It is mostly for the fun of it, of course, as I have also changed the bolts and small parts for the Brompton brakes to titanium, as the axle for the front wheel! And for eventual carbon parts, like my new handlebar: I have a carbon, superlight, full Shimano XTR MTB, which functions extremely well. And yes I have seen films about MTBs landing after extreme jumps, and the frame collapses, but my basis frame, an English, Vision Kilo, has never let me down, even with oversize Shimano 9120 XTR, double caliber disc brakes.
is it possible to convert s bar to p bar?
U will need longer cables
is there any difference in height between the P bar and the M handlebars?
Original P bar is 15mm higher. If mini p bar i think almost the same as M bar. But if u install at S bar stem, it will be higher.
we want girl voice over.. menarik sikit ahahah
Pakai suara orang pompuan mahal. Nanti aku pakai suara akak gja ko. Hahahahhaa.
Pity they don’t sell the P bars anymore, it was truly the epitome of B quirkiness
Yeah. You either love it or hate it. Hahahaha. I hate it at first, but it kinda grows on me. I am lucky to have one original P bar. Hahaha.
Don’t know why Brompton stopped doing the ‘P’ bar
Yeah. Maybe not many likes the looks? I love the P bar because the hand sits taller. Best for cruising.
Can i install it on h stem? Thanks!
Can. No issue.
The voice sounds a bit robotic...
Yeah. I am using voice over. Hahaha.
Your Brooks saddle is NOT a special. The special has chamfered edges on both sides and copper rivets.
