Thank you for helping a broke boy out
😅
Did the broke boy not wanna go ask a shop cause they were scared of the diag fee
You don't need to be broke to learn something new, it's called curiosity and being smart. I suppose that's why you came here no? Or perhaps you were scared of the diag fee...
Finally, a video that accomplishes what it claims. Took 96 seconds of watching and less than 15 seconds of testing. Yup, my relay is dedski.
Thanks, man.
I'm glad you were able to test it out!
Very good and important information given by you
I understood the pin 85/86
And 87/30. N c N o
Thanks a lot Sir,
Thank you for the quick and easy without bombing me down technically.
You're welcome! I try to keep things simple and easy to understand.
Watching from the philippines,,thanks the knowledge you shared
Thanks for watching!
Thos is how all doy videos should be. Thabk you for the info!
Thank you for your support!
thank you guys
You're welcome!
👌 *Perfectly simple tutorial.* Keep making this content. _Thanks so much!_
Thanks for watching!
Good thing I'm already in North Carolina. I wouldn't be able to able to test my relays in one minute if not. 😆
I'm in South Carolina and I understand everything except the North Carolina part? What's he mean by that? Seriously? Lol
My relay tested bad and read around 830, so I got a new one and tested it which read good. I tested the old one again just for the sake of testing it again and it oddly read good. I knew I had it on the correct setting the first time, because when I got the bad reading I double checked my setting. Does this sometimes happen to relays?
You may have just has a bad contact with more resistance
Must have been a BMW relay!!!!😂
Thanks, can I test the on/off function by connecting the other two pins to a 12 volt battery?
Learned more in 1 minute than 1 lifetime in school
Thank you! Glad it was helpful.
so good
just because 85 & 86 have continuity- DOES NOT mean the relay is functional. Take this video down, finish it and repost. Here, let me get you started. The relay in the vid is a 5pin relay so pins 30 & 87a are connected by default. When the relay is actuated, pin 87a is disconnected and pins 30 & 87 are then connected thereby powering the load (fan motor, headlight, etc). To test the relay, when 85 & 86 completes a 12volt circuit, you should hear an audible click or 'feel the click'. In your new video- you can actually take the cover off the relay and show the relay internals moving. hope this helps.
Was wondering this, I don't know much about electronics but I know a relay has a mechanical switch function, if it's stuck open or closed wouldn't I get different readings? Does this test tell me if the relay will actually function? Thanks
Well said.
Be nice. I believe the poster is trying to help and is not attempting to deceive.
Enjoy your Sunday. I appreciate the information you shared. I have a 40 amp radiator fan relay that I am concerned about. Your post was helpful. Thanks
He could also use a 9v battery 🔋 to see if it works
Well I'm not sure what you mean but thanks for telling me to look elsewhere
I'm pretty sure both ways are correct because it has 2 sides?
00:55 the North Carolina pins 🤣
This also made me laugh out loud. Dang AI text to speech nonsense.
Thank you!!
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
On my relay, I got 59 :) is not working properly? Good video btw
So if ohm is low its not good ?
What if i use battery on relay to hear the tick isnt enough ?
You can connect 85 to B- and 86 to B+
Then you can hear the tick from relay
@@konstantin-big if tick is on means other side is ok too?
@@purplefurture6960
Exactly
I use a test light to check the relay
You must have power on +30 and 85 or 86
When the relay doing a click then you must have power on 87
Never mentioned what to do if diode was present or not and how to identify!!!
Guess :/
Is it safe to power fuel injector relay from another relay....ecu pulse is weak to fuel injector car won't start
You can use a diagnostic tool so you can see if you have an error code
I went through your video and testing 85 and 86 got nothing but with 85 and 30 read about 90 so is the relay good?

I have a 4 pron relày and with multimeter on 86 and 85 getting 0.0 is it no good? Any other way to test it? With my multimeter?

Ah, there's my problem. I was looking for the South Carolina pin.
Thank you for making a no fluff video without your history and a bunch of babble
Mine reads 58ohms, and guess what ? its a non functional relay or in other words F8ck3d, also other way to test is set multimeter to 200 on dc current should read 1/2 if its less than that, well then your relay is F8ck3d :D
How can I study online
Nice video. Nissan horn not working. Good fuses and 12v on one blade plug. I tapped on horn relay and got it to work for a split second. Then nothing. Then the horn worked shortly thereafter for 1 night.
I've got a 3-blade Nissan horn relay. I can energize two blades and it clicks, but only in one direction. When I energize the two blades with a good 9v battery I measure about 4v on the output blade that goes to the horn. The 4v steadily decreases if I hold it on the 3rd blade and monitor it.
How do I confirm the relay is the issue? Thanks!
I have the same issue I replaced the relay twice and the problem continues
It looks like the problem is the horn switch and it is recommended a technician to do it because it’s close to the air bag it might get activated and you can get hurt
@miltonnegron65 yes it works sometimes and others not. Mostly not. There's a short in the clockspring harness or something like that. I'm gonna run a ground button into the cab and call it a day. All the horn cover contact does is provide relay contol ground. The horn is useless on the road anyways as every speeding or anxious jackass honks too much 😆
man theres a residential dopr closer . ypu cannpt even comment on . there no place for reveiws and . reddits closest postvis dont buy chinease and then the name of the opener
as if it was a dont but chinease review not the multiple door opener brands
North Carolina pins? Seriously?
North Orlando Pins !
Only half tested. If your going to take the time to do a video do it right
This isn't for do it yourself people. You said a bunch stuff most people don't know including myself. Very useless for most
Look it up? Everything hes saying is extremely basic + hes literally showing you how lol
