We took a Road Trip to go watch the 2-hour Fantasy Extravaganza in Dallas! Big thanks to Medieval Times for being so cool, this is not a paid promo (we just wanted to go & called ahead of time) but they did give us a free meal & backstage access! Many of them have seen our show too so that was sweet!
Seriously Guys, we had so much fun and I HIGHLY recommend making your own Road Trip out there! 10/10!
You can find tickets at $40-$50 easily, normal price is still worth it imo at $70, and of course its far less for kids! GO.

The prince was attacked enroute to marry the princess. Since the prince never showed they held a tournament to marry off the princess. A mysterious black knight was winning. The crowd was booing him the whole time. After the Black knight won, he took off his helmet and revealed he was the prince, “happily ever after”.

Lol, you need to eat at medieval times more. I know like 8 different storylines because I love drinking booze and watching jousting tourneys.
The one I went to was a couple of years ago. It was really good. The King and Queen held the tournament in honor of their daughter's birthday as she reached adulthood. A rich barbarian lord visited and offered many gifts in honor of the event and then claimed he was giving the gifts for her hand in marriage. When the king denied him, the barbarian lord threatened to go to war to have her as a war bride instead then. The daughter then recommended a duel between the barbarian lord and the winner of the tournament to decide her fate and keep them from going to war. The champion of the tournament won after a tough battle.

I'm from Europe. I'm not saying that it is a fun thing, but the simple fact is that it is a Hollywood costume movie "medieval" and not what really did happen back then. Such scenario doesn't really make a sense in case of real feudal order. You couldn't just win princesses on tournament. It was as common as pirates digging the gold, what also almost never did happen (there is only one known larger case and it was generally justified).

Damnit Joe! I work as a server at the Dallas castle! You just had to go on the weekend I was out of town!
Le Ghostface $60 a ticket, lap children in for free but must eat from your plate. It's worth the money as it is a solid hour and forty-five minute show with a full meal. During summer we have 11 to 12 shows a week. Averaging around 800 a show (Dallas castle) we sell merchandise and alcohol which are of course priced like any place like this would. They have ticket upgrades that cost anywhere from 7 to 22 bucks more. There is a lot of profit made in different areas that easily makes up the cost. Plus, we have weeks like spring break where we have 3 shows a day all week and sell out almost all of them. Not to mention all the schools that buy into our matinee shows and the scout groups that come to scout shows.
ONE DAY THE KINGDOM WILL BE OURS, THE ANGRY ARMY!!

I used to live like 10-15 mins away from Medieval Times when I lived in Texas back a year ago; Pretty intense stuff! I've been to that Conference Center behind you a LOT when I was younger to go to car shows and the like. I kind of miss Dallas for all that it had going for it, but I'm looking forward to how Las Vegas will treat me! XD
We have Medieval Times in Illinois like 30 -45 mins from me!

Hahaha! That Coors light waterfall has been there since I was a kid. The little Czech Bakery is awesome! Man y'all are some of my favorite places as a kid and lol you probably passed me while I was at work on the way to Medieval Times. That's awesome!

This is actually a solid genuine vlog, first vlog I have enjoyed in a long time. Nowadays vloggers are cheats, and scammers with parasitic personalities always doing something ridiculously expensive or flashing off their possessions. Its really fresh to see a wholesome vlog of some dudes have a good time at a really cool event, i'd definitely watch some more of these.

I went to one in Atlanta Georgia back some years ago and it was a great experience definitely when my cousin was one of the Knights!!
I remember going to medieval times a long time ago when I was at least 8 or so. I loved everything about it, the theme, the cheering, the food, everything about it was so wonderful I still remember it vividly to this day. I even got my team flag signed by the famous knights themselves. The knight I was rooting for, according to where we sat, was the glorious Black and White knight. We'd say "black and white, fight fight fight!" to cheer him on. Thank you Joe for making this VEE-log, I loved reminiscing on this part of my childhood, this video brought back some great memories! :)
They are building our first Medieval Times here in Arizona. So looking forward to going. This looked like a blast. Glad it was a good time and thanks for sharing your trip.
