Thank you for this.I think I'm not going to wait any longer for the AP2. I'm going to try the DJI 5 Pro. It's smaller and can be carried on my motorcycle helmet. and it is also compatible with my hollyland lark m2
I used my Hollyland lark Max and it worked until I stopped recording or turned the camera off and back on then it would no longer work until I power cycled everything. Does this mic maintain connection after a power cycle on the camera.
Another great video and another step closer to something useable. Surely with the connectivity and processing power available on the Insta360 AP2, this capability should be embedded within the device and not requiring ugly attachments that reduce the IPxx of the camera and that adds something that can get bashed...it's an action-cam for heavens sake!
Thanks for the video and the mic test, well done! Question...can you record the voice extern on the hollyland transmitter? If yes then i would suggest do all the recording on the transmitter and do not connect a receiver to the camera at all. Later in post and using handclap at the start of the video recording you can sync the video and external audio together....or what do you think?will this work much better? Next you dont need a bluetooth mic either. And your camera stays fully waterproof since you do not have to remove the door on the camera. If you think this is a great idea and solution, feel free to make a video on this so that this can be shared across your channel. Regards
It’s extra work, but in some cases, the best option. That said, I would use the DJI Mic 2 standalone transmitter - even allows 32-bit float for challenging audio.
@@ttl_channel thanks! Can you make a short video on this solution? Think this is the best overall, with some extra work, but your camera remains an action cam.
@@ttl_channel i also tried connecting a cheaper version of the BOYA BY-V2 (the ones you can find on Amazon), got recognized as USB device but does not connect. it also shows "SD CARD FULL" on the screen. anyway, thank you for your time and effort. more power on your channel. God bless!
So, the ace pro I bought just a few months ago will never have that kinda connectivity with Hollyland Lark M2, that was utter waste of money, don't you think a simple software upgrade can fix this problem?
Loved this!!! Thank you for this update! Very excited to grab the pro 2

@@raulrinana Exactly the decision I made and the image quality is just fine...it's my creative ability that's lacking!

Totally agree. DJI are miles ahead of the pack in this area.
@ttl_channel I really want an AP2, it'll compliment the X4 and I like the ecosystem, but it's not there yet.
Love the videos. Keep 'em coming!

Great video, do you think the NEW RODE Wireless Micro will work, its the same setup as the Hollyland Lark M2, the RODE should have better sound.
I guess we will have to wait to find out.
haven't finished watching this video but I would really appreciate it if you could test it with the X4.
I tried plugging into the X4, it recognizes a USB device, but does not connect it as an external microphone.

Possibly, if the hardware in the Ace Pro can handle it, but IMHO not very likely that will happen.
@ yup! Usually they don’t care about old products anyway
This is go pro have 360 degree view?
No, this is not a 360 camera.
