- For thirteen years of use, the hammer did not require repair and replacement of consumables. The power hammer was assembled by me in 2006 from improvised materials. The weight of the striker (falling part) is 12 kg. 220 beats per minute. Electric motor 1500 r / m. 1,5kv.

Perfect! Good design, just needs a little oil on that foot lever, ha.
@Dmitry,
what should I write, I'm just speechless again.
You again impressed me unbelievable.
I'm looking for a solution so long and you come round the corner with this very simple design.
WOW very nice
A wonderful piece of engineering.
You sir, are a genius.
Nice, Thanks for showing us , Dmitry!
Results are all that really matters in the long run right? Your work speaks for itself.
i like how you can see where the paint has burned off due to the slag from flux and scale hitting it
Looks like a neat design, and has proven itself by lasting so long. Well done!
Yes! I've been wondering the design for a long time. About to make a hammer of my own. Thank you!!
Impressive my friend! Its amazing how much your welding has improved over the years.
13 beautiful, beautiful years. Well done.
I like it, lots of familiar parts went into the build. Great job.
13 years and no repairs! That's as impressive as your billets! Well done!
Bart Layman Why did you think "no repairs"? The rubber strip above hammer-anvil was replaced more than once, I guess...
I read the description. Rubber strips would be consumables, but things are easily lost in translation. I think belts rubber grease and dies would be maintenance
F'ing sweet. I wondered if you made it. Love your knives, and, I'm totally impressed with that striker. Thanks for the detailed peek.
AWESOME old school never fails
Impressive, nice design and thank you for sharing this. I very much enjoy your channel!
Wow! Just like factory made.... Nowadays, used most of my streaming time in your helpful channel.
@Dmitry
Making something dead similar from a blown John Deere hydraulic piston but have been at odds as to how to set it up. Thank you for the video that has become my inspiration towards finishing this project!
Awesome nice simple design, surprising it's never needed a new motor drive+clutch belt after all these years!
13 years and never slung a rod, pun intended lol. Nice machine
Pretty clever use of odd-ball pieces and parts. The real beauty is in its simplicity. MacGyver (RDA character) would be proud.
Nice job Great design ......Well done
Impressive, and I'm quite baffled that the old connection rod can take that kind of abuse for so many years - great work.
Connecting rod! Awesome!
had no idea you built that! very cool!
It’s made beautiful blades. Well done. Some more blades please
Now I know what I got to do.
Thanks!
Good job. Well done. Anything to save hours on your shoulder that will thank you when you reach a ripe old age.
Thank you!
Porzadna robota!
*THATS A GREAT VIDEO ..... ! NICE IDEAS...... THANKS FOR THAT ....!!!!*
I am so impress to your hammer verry marvelous
Is the rectangular tube on top of the striker for added weight.
Bravissimo!!!
Very good design
Outstanding
So cool.
Great Job. If my father was still alive I would tackle something like this. I have access to all the parts but would be reluctant to try it on my own. Do you have plans for your design?
Motor how much HP?
Very, very ,very Nice !!🇧🇷
Enjoyed
Legend
Where can I purchase one of your knives?
NICE!
Good. Thanks
Oh wow, I see a crankshaft journal, lobe and counterweight piece with a connecting rod, and is that a leaf spring?
I would love to know how you made this!
What is that connecting rod from if I may ask?
I would recommend some counterbalance and fill the pipes with concrete i love the strap tensioner system too seems to work nicely that jumping up and down die plate worrys me a littleyou cud probly cut an old belt and put a strip aroundit to wedge it still
Nice 👍
1,5 sq. M.
Would be nice to see a view of the whole machine
Wow, very impressive!
Thank you for taking your time and showing us your power hammer do I have a question how much force can a power hammer put down
I do not know. weight of striker 12 kg
super!!!
I always that that was a metal leaf spring in the middle, now I see its some type of leather or other flexible material, neat!
this rubber reinforced belt
What's around the ram holding it
You could call it "Jumpy"!
Or Fappy hehehe
Eres un genio?
nice hammer... a little grease goes a long way and it looks like your motor base is wobbling.
muito bom e criativo .ies
👍👍mantap
gracias por mostrarlo colega herrero
Is that your forge blower sitting behind the hammer?
right
I’m curious. Why is the bottom strike plate not secured to keep it from bouncing?
In the beginning, I did not have another piece, and then I was already used to it, I'm trying to change everything, but I do not have enough time.
I see, I was curious if it added any benefit in your forging process. I really love your blades, they are really amazing.
Nice way to repurpose old engine parts.
Why is your anvil not solid? See it bouncing alot its got to loosing some of the blow in it.
Awesome ! Indeed why invest thousands when you can craft it out of scrap parts.
A spring hammer has its best performance when the spring is doing most of the work. When the ram is moving slowly the hammer should never come into contact with the anvil. The proper action is as follows: The ram, acting against the inertia of the upward traveling hammer and spring, starts to compress the spring as it is traveling downward. As the ram begins to decelerate towards the bottom of its stroke, this energy is released, throwing the hammer downward in the opposite direction faster than the motion of the ram, in effect multiplying the force. A good balance of operational speed and spring size is necessary to maximise this effect.
You change?
Pretty good idea thanks budy
The anvil/bottom die seems to jump a lot you should weld it in to stop loosing power
i want to buy this machine help me
Nice! Do you take apprentices?
I do not have the opportunity, but I answer any questions

2006 13 year
what year is it ?
should be considered 2006 inclusive
If he made it at the beginning of 2006, it is already 12+, so you can round it up to a nice number ;)
What is Russian for "You're a genius!"
Although he might know...he is Ukrainian not Russian not the same thing.
