How come that you can't use apostrophes?? Maybe, you've been told to not use contractions in Academic IELTS Writing and Writing Task2. But you should use contractions in the first task of General Writing.
@@RossIELTSAcademy yes! He told me not to use contractions like don't, doesn't,etc in task 2 but can I write words which contains apostrophes like : individual's, person's,one's,etc Please tell 🙏
You are wrong my friend. You are not allowed to use contractions in Task 2 and Academic writing task 1. However, you should use them in General writing task 1 for informal letters
With a lot of respect, I have to tell you that punctuation is very important, and maybe you say this because you don't have a clear information about the writing criteria in IELTS. The instructor is an expert in IELTS and she was trained by British Council examiners and has more than 12 years of experience in this field. All the given information are precise. I know that so many institutions and academies teach something wrong because they don't have a proper understanding of the IELTS test, and this exactly makes us unique and that's why we have so many successful students, especially in writing and speaking.
@@lazizbek2929 I don't know who gives you such information and where they find them. Please check this video for your information ua-cam.com/video/OEJjemb7cNk/v-deo.html
