great thanks Robbie for taking the plunge .. looking forward to seeing being put through its paces. This is just what the industry needs .. a fair price dirt bike for all.. yes is not a KTm hsuky etc but that's the point! al lot of people that ride the main bikes only do it as there is not a decent cheap alternative and in fact don't need such a good bike .. Id love to see them do a electric freeride copy bike?
Looks interesting in a 2T. Thoughts on how it compares to the Fantic XEF 250 Trail? It’s a 4T, 130kg wet, arrow cans and some dealer support. I was tempted by one a year ago, but ended up with a CRF300 Rally. ‘Still on the lookout for a low maintenance, and economically priced trail bike, and the Fantic is (I think) preferable to the 300L, but a two stroke of acceptable quality for £5k is quite interesting!
Great video looking forward to more videos on this bike like you say ktm / husqvarna/gasgas/sherco are a lot of money for younger riders to afford hopefully this bike can be a cheaper alternative stay safe 🇬🇧👍

@@RobboRobinson there is not too much info about the performans of XTNG. Seems to have a similar disgin as lectron ans SC. Would be interesting to learn more about XTNG
i'd say 5k is extremely reasonable for a 2t when the competition is 10k + if you want something affordable the kurz fe 250 is a great trail bike for 2.5k defiantly slower since it's and a/c 250 4t but its reliable and perfectly capable on trails.
Fortunately, GPX removed that bike you used to own in its lineup and replaced it to the air-cooled version. GPX are well aware of their bikes and continues to improve it based on the consumers report. Thank you.
@@pat.125enduro4 I will never consider a GPX again. No matter what GPX 'improves" the bikes will never be anything but a cloned engine & frame wrapped in cheap Chinese crap, all the plastics, wires, fasteners and electronics are junk. Good luck figuring out what parts work or getting professional service for your great value wonder-bike.... This is whole other nightmare of Chinese motorcycle ownership.
the fact that you instantly went to Chinese rip off completely nullifies your opinion, not everything that is Chinese is a rip off. The fact is the most important parts of this bike are built from Japanese licence's and frankly comparing a used bike to a new bike pricewise is just silly. compare it to a used one if you want.
I’d rather a 2nd hand any other bike than a China bike. The fact they rip off other bikes is enough to not support them let alone never being able to trust it for reliability. I’d be really scared to take that thing off a jump or downhill section. Buyer beware.
@@stanleychurchill5175 sure have, after many years working in the motorcycle industry, I have come to the conclusion that you will end up crying some time in the near future after the purchase of a China bike.
You probably used an unknown brand without a background. If you really do your research, you would have find the hidden gem of the bunch( other china bike brand,etc.). We'll see what Robbo would say about the GPX in the near future.
I agree! That and we are supporting the Communist Chinese and helping their economy! Its the same as buying a Russian bike IMHO! The Russian's and the Chinese both communist countries and allies! Why would we support them?
You shouldn't be supporting Chinese industry. They just copy everybody else's ideas and countless hours of r and d. But hey your not bitter with ktm there at eurotek ....
My experience with KTM bikes has been good. You’d be surprised what the Austrians get made in China and I know. Someone once said to me it’s like washing machines so many companies making them and all appear the same but all slightly different in there own way. I don’t think KTM have anything to worry about as a lot of riders want the polished product but some might say KTM is not so polished anymore from their experience. All I see is a lot of manufacturers copying each other and using interchangeable components across the board. Aftermarket companies will benefit here and abroad with development of parts for this bike like sump & exhaust guards for example. I don’t like the CCP but the Chinese workers are just everyone else just trying to get by.
@@RobboRobinson At least KTM does research and development and they have racing teams!!!! They don't copy or steal! You can justify supporting the Communist Chinese and their dishonest business practices till the cows come home. Its wrong on so many levels to give companies like this our money!
Great bike. Ridden one for a while in the US, never ever let me down. Great fun.

Just a tip. You’ll want to swap out that petcock. It tends to snag on things when you go down and it will break off.

Mikunni copy , maybe not the best but will see how I go with jetting it. Most recommend XTNG EV 36 as a winner on this.
