I was past due to put out a finds video, so here are some of my recent jazz finds! #vinylcommunity #recordcollecting #audiophilerecords #jazzvinyl #vinylfinds
Well this was incredible and yet another example about how it's still possible to get lucky finding cheap, expensive records in this modern vinyl era. Just to find those first few Sun Ras for $10 was incredible but the Saleh Ragab??? Wowsa, and that is a great LP. I'm after it! I was thinking the same exact thing when you said it left you with more questions than answers. ha! I know if it were me, I'd be heading back there the next day and way more often. Something tells me you will do, or already have done, the same. great video Bob, you set the scene perfectly.
You said it fairly at the end Bob: the records found a good home. You will cherish them, much better they ended up with you than a flipper. That final live in Egypt record you showed looks like a reference copy, you should loan it to Chad to do a needle drop reissue! Greetings from London
Logically I think you unknowingly fell through a wormhole into another dimension, ended up at Half Price Books Saturn store where Sun Ra is cheap and plentiful before returning to Earth after checking out.
Can still find some winners at HPB. Found very clean copies of US 1st Press Rage Against the Machine Self Titled and Fugazi Instrument Soundtrack 1999 pressing just yesterday
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL Anyway, great finds. And yes, it's very likely the collection of someone who just passed away, unfortunately. But as you said, it went to a great home. Enjoy.
Hey Bob, I watch all your videos and have corresponded with you before. My love of vinyl seems to be rivaled by only you lol. That said, do you have any interest in a sealed, original of Albert King’s “Born Under a Bad Sign”? I need to sell it but I don’t want to just sell it to anyone. I want to sell it to someone that will appreciate it. Let me know if you have any interest.
I appreciate the offer but I have an OG stereo and mono that are very nice 👍🏼 that said you should have no problem finding a custodian for that killer piece. Cheers

Thanks Dom, yeah I was tracking that particular spot for weeks after to no avail, I’m cool with the records I got … but I’ll always wonder ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
Great haul Bob. Nice work as always. Streaming that John Patton now… love it.
Wow, dude that is an awesome collection of music. I never see Sun Ra anywhere and to find it clean too. Eeesh. Good record karma.
praxis is a Greek label which only adds to how unlikely a dig this was, amazing
I'm so jealous! Here in the Netherlands everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, who sells any records always checks Discogs.
That is normally the case here, just pure vinyl luck.. cheers
Hey Bob ! You go years without seeing Sun Ra stuff. Great scores & the Miles Davis albums are pretty sweet as well 👌.
I was feeling real good about it ✊🏼
So when is Half Price Books going to open their first store here in Costa Rica? I'm waiting. Nice haul!!
The Cairo Jazz Band is great!
Was waiting for you to pull a couple hand-painted El Saturns! Wild haul.
#collectiongoals !
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmnnnnnn. What an epic haul!
Much appreciated, cheers!
Good score, crate digging
I haven't been by my half priced books in a long time. Dedication pay's off.
It’s a labor of love Richard!
Most of our Half Price Books have closed in the Houston area.
One of the best shows i ever saw was sun ra at the chicago jazz fest. Nice finds on sun ra.
Ah that sounds epic!
Congrats on finding the Sun Ra LPs. Solid work sir. To the digger go the rewards.
Cheers to that sir!
That Koln concert is top 10 jazz record of all time
Awesome selection of vinyl albums! Sun Ra marathon!

Cheers to that!

I think you might be right !
Whoo! Now, that's a tasty bunch of records. Never see Sun Ra this side of the pond. Very nice! 🙌
It’s really tough to find for sure!
AMAZING. I live in Chicago and in twenty years of record shopping have never once fallen into a honey hole. Good job.
This is your year!
Nice stuff bob & great bargains 👍
Cheers✊🏼
Nice finds Bob!
Much appreciated
Fantastic Haul Bob!!😮
Much appreciated!
Great diggin’ my friend. The Sun Ra centre of the universe. Amazing!!
It caught me off guard for sure!
" Fuck Yeah " 👍✌️
Hahaha great prices Bob on all those! I did not know you were a Sun Ra fan.
Oh yeah, I’ll Sun Ra! Cheers Ilya!
Wow killer scores, Bob! Nothin beats a cheap n solid half price books haul!!
It’s happening less and less but every now and then! Cheers
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL Agreed! It’s been a while for me too
Great pickup
Much appreciated!
Congrats! It's hard to hit honey holes like that anymore.
Gets more rare all the time! Cheers
After The End Of The World is the only Sun Ra that I have. I had a few others but I purged them. They sounded cheesy.
Definitely not for everyone Richie, I sort of feel l like Sun Ra collectors are similar to Zappa guys… it’s an acquired acquired taste . Lol
Great finds. HPB here in Chicagoland seems to have gone down hill. More expensive and less selection or shredded.
Damn, hopefully they’ll have a slight return!
Can still find some winners at HPB. Found very clean copies of US 1st Press Rage Against the Machine Self Titled and Fugazi Instrument Soundtrack 1999 pressing just yesterday
Dang smoking records! Cheers to that!

Wow, major scroe!
Cheers to that!
Köln is a city in Germany. Cologne.
"kowln" could be a good pronunciation.
Much appreciated, I didn’t think much about it until the very moment I was actually recording … makes sense now ✊🏼
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNEL Anyway, great finds. And yes, it's very likely the collection of someone who just passed away, unfortunately. But as you said, it went to a great home.
Enjoy.
Sun Ra's heirs just called.
They need to come off those records!
Salah Ragab is awsome. Did you buy the rsd record.
I didn’t now I’m regretting that!

Koln is Cologne... the way Germans spell the name of the city. We call it Cologne.
