What did you do to mitigate the sound offset system, I don’t remember the tech term. My local shop is telling me they’ve got to do a bunch of stuff to kill out the mics.
Firstly,,,, Very good video... love it!.. Just a question.. If you disconnect the factory subs aren't u eliminating the active engine sound feature?.. Or does the sound come from some other speaker?.. Peter
There will never be one unless a local customer in NYC buys this and opts to have the customization shop that makes the sub setup do the install. Not very likely. We've sold a bunch to GT1 and GT2 owners, all of whom had no problem adjusting the location of the trunk auto-lift mechanism
That definitely won't fit in the area shown here in this vid. There's very little space behind those panels which is why this sub setup had to be so meticulously made. It absolutely knocks though. Doubtful most people would possibly need more bass in their Stinger.
@@importsharkllc3562 makes sense. And how do the do the low bass frequency sound on this 8" setup sound? I listened to mainly EDM/synthwave/ "rap" music and that usually digs low in bass frequency.
@@z32PureHardDance hip hop sounds pretty good actually, regardless of the woofer being 8". Granted, judging sound is completely subjective and don't get me wrong here--this setup is NOT designed to win SPL contests at car shows but it gives you REAL low-end boom that's sorely lacking even in the GT2 trim sound system. It absolutely blows away the stock "dual underseat subs" in other words. Considering you don't lose any trunk space at all, this really can't be beat.
@@importsharkllc3562 once last thing, did you ever get to mess with the GT2? I was regarding in the stinger forum that you had yet to see if the GT2 had the adequate space to fit the subwoofer box.
@@z32PureHardDance It does have enough room but the tailgate auto-lift module has to be relocated. It can just be brought forward a bit more so the sub can tuck in next to it. Ideally a custom bracket needs to be made to secure it, but that's pretty straight forward really.
This is beautiful work i have a 18 GT and looking around at options. Will be bookmarking this for sure.
I know this is years past when posted but what enclosure is this that fits the stinger? Or was it custom by you?
how do you add the app and sub to a 2018 kia stinger that does not have a amp at all.
How did you connect the remote wire that turns on and off the amp?

lol sounds like they're trying to rip you off for some up-charges. That makes zero sense bud
@@importsharkllc3562 right, that’s what I was thinking as well.
Do you guys sell just the amp kits. Thanks for the response

Peter LR I believe the active sound is sent through all speakers-full range and subs.
11:30 me using stock stereo bass ajusting settings😂😂
I have 2019 Kia stinger, and it doesn’t have factory subwoofer so how can I connect my amplifier and subwoofer
If you purchase the sub setup from us, we'll happily assist with the install.
Where did you mount your remote wire
The bass knob you mean? That's mounted under the dash and it's wire is run under/behind the paneling in the car.
You’ve got a fuse box access I’d pick a fuse that turns on with the car
Where are these other videos that show sub installs?
This is the only video that shows a general overview of the install. It's not a step-by-step but as you can see still pretty detailed.
Great video!! Thank you!
When will the video for the gt2 be ready?

Thank you for trying for months to sort out the mess of wires in my stinger
I need a subwoofer box that supports a 10" sundown subwoofer.
