My daughter is finally old enough to be of help around the farm. I've had her out with me digging taters, cleaning out chicken brooders, catching chickens and planting in the garden just like how old Finn is helping you with your maters. I reckon when they both get older they'll look back happily on memories of that stuff and will be glad they didn't spend their whole childhood on a tablet. We've dipped down into the 40s this past week, Fall is acoming! That's a beautiful farm sink. God Bless Brother!
Finley is an excellent harvesting partner and co-chef. He did a great job telling us what you were doing! Glad you were able to harvest so many beautiful tomatoes and the cows got a nice treat with the corn stalks. God bless you! 😊🙏🏻🌻
Howdy y’all- the Lord blessed y’all with a pretty good mater harvest. We been in such a drought that we haven’t gotten enough maters to cover a dinner plate. We keep pouring the well water to them hoping for some later. Mister Finn is a fine helper. Y’all take care and God bless
Your juice looks delicious ! I hope Finn will always want to help on the homestead. This is precious time you are spending together. May God continue to bless you and your family.
So envious of that beautiful "perfect condition" tomato harvest. ;) Texas has been miserable and not much has survived this year. Hoping for a good fall harvest though.
@@FlutyLickHomestead I heard all about it! My oldest lives up Tomahawk and got blocked in for a day or so. Never remember it flooding so bad when I was growing up there. We'd definitely be able to use some of that water down here though. There's always some kind of fire popping up here this year.
What a great tomato harvest!! Wow...don't know when I ever saw so many hanging on vines. Finn has grown so much this summer. Love to listen to his thoughts. You have a beautiful home. Hope the rest of the family is doing well! Ya'll have a great week ahead! God bless!
Looks like you got a good crop of tomatoes this year. Best to wash them or at least rinse off in a bucket outside to keep dirt out of your traps. I can remember doing wheelbarrows of tomatoes back when I had gardens and canning them up with my Mom. Opening a bottle of tomato juice on a cold winter day and having it cold in a glass made all that summer work worthwhile. Your son is a very good worker.
Awesome haul of tomatoes! Love some good mater juice and so many uses for it as well. I like to double the salt in mine, just because I like the taste. I flip mine upside down too, shhhh don't tell the feds 😂 I love that Fin is your little right hand man!
Joel Salatin needs Finn to be a guest speaker at the next Homesteaders of America event. 😉 We were debating a purchase of this kitchen-aid attachment and you just sold it. GOD bless you and your family!
Looking mighty good Brother we might have to have one of them juicers Miss Teresa still got me on the hand crank --- it might not suit everybody's taste but she slips a hot pepper in every now and them nothing like home grow home made!! sure like what y'all doing God Bless y'all !!
Thanks Jared and Finn for the great tomato harvest and Juice canning, you both did an excellent job. Jared, have you ever canned tomato butter? I can't find a recipe for that , I live in Texas now but grew up in Ohio and that was always a favorite with all the leftover tomato's. Sure wish I could find that old recipe. Glad to see that you are all safe and hope you can find a good deal on some sweetcorn since your corn got ruined by the storms. Stay safe and keep up the good videos and tell the rest of the family we said hello too. Fred.
He's such a good helper! Bad year for corn here in KS, at least in my garden. 100+ for weeks on end and very little rain is just too much! Lovely tomato juice!
I know you're going to want to keep Finley on the farm, but he seems to have a very active mind. I think he has higher education in his future, and I sure hope he goes Agriculture!
Finn is adorable! I love to hear his thoughts. If you got some ph strips and tested your juice before you add the citric acid, I bet it would be acidic enough that you wouldn’t need to add it. If it’s below 4.6 you’re good to waterbath can with no acid added. Edited to add: I wrote that before I saw that you were not going to waterbath can them. I’m surprised they don’t ferment if you don’t can them.

You're blessed. Cherish those moments. Even uf they don't look back on them, you sure can :-)

The boy knows his maters. ❤️ perfect condition.

Wish we could send some of our rain to Texas. We had a record wet July but came with lots of flooding

You are living the dream. I wish half of us were that lucky. Great tomatoes.
Gollee Finley is growing up quick! As always great to see yalls homestead coming along. Thanks for sharing
Most beautiful tomatoes I have ever seen, and tons of them.

We are just now getting tomatoes because of the late planting. The juice is looking good. God Bless and stay safe.
Perfectly perfect. God bless y’all.
Virtually no tomatoes here in Orlando. Yours are gorgeous.
Thank you

Wow very awesome video. Finn is getting so big. Your tomatoe juice looks DELICIOUS 😋. God bless

You got a better crop than I did. We got basically nothing, not a good year.
This is one thing that has done good this year. Not much luck on corn and beans are iffy here
@@FlutyLickHomestead we got an okra crop and some beets, everything else is not good. Too much rain earlier now to hot. Planting some fall crops.
Tomatoes look great. I might try that kind next year.
Beautiful tomatoes!
Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you and yours ❤
Yall make so super excited to move to Kentucky

I’ve never heard of that here in Ky. Will have to look that up
I've never heard of tomato butter. We've got neighbors that make apple butter though every Fall. I'd bet the recipes are similar.
Wow that's a good amount of tomatoes. Tomato sandwich is heaven. Finn is a smart little man. Congratulations on all your harvest
Other than the Kitchen-Aid juicer I can mine the same way. If I'm making it just for me, I add 2 cayenne peppers to a quart.
Them are some pretty looking dumaders! I like them "Air Quotes" you threw in there! ✌ 😁

Sure would like to have some of those big red tomatoes on a good old bolonga sandwich. Boy I can just taste it. .,How did your beans turn out ?
Your tomatoes are beautiful wondering what do you use for fertilizer
My husband grew Romas a few years ago. I canned 65 quarts. I hate removing the skins & cores! I dared him to grow any more! 😂
Ha ha that boy growing
"That ain't how yur sposed to do it" .......nice
Finn is a talker!
Like your video 😊😇

That Fiest sounds like he's "treed"
