Could only complete the game on easy difficulty, could never do this level on moderate, I don't use hotkeys either probably a huge time waste on my part you make good use of them, you are so fast it's insane you have done things before I can even comprehend what you are doing.
very good questions! 1) Because i missed somehow a peice of video(i use fraps to record vids), that last about 6 game minutes.... I haven't noticed it untill you asked a question =( . Actually it is me who started the attack first with chariots and helepolisis. 2) Yes, plus they are cheap and fast. 3) It shows some information about enemies. For example tiny line of yellow shows that he is not a problem anymore and the absence of the red line tells that there are only his buildings left.
managed to get through the campaign of aoe : ror on highest difficulty up to this mission pretty smoothly, but this last mission is a real pain in the neck on hard. Huns build always wonder too early on me.
@@Magnatio I should have expressed myself more clearly, i meant "coming of the hunts" is more difficult in aoe:ror than aoe DE Edit: Finally made it on hard. When the huns finished building the wonder, I quickly built my base in their base and destroyed the wonder, however, i couldnt destroy all of the huns units because i had to focuse on the wonder within the short timeline i had left. I was luckily that the huns didnt attack my core base so i did have enough time to raise a second army and finally finish huns once for all.
oh my god i finally passed this campaign. i'm not joking, i tried to do it like 8 times but they always either built up their wonder and i couldn't destroy it in time or they simply killed me off. i finally finished it on easiest 😭 my strategy was to build a village inside their village and a lot of towers and workshops, so when the huns started building a wonder i just pointed for them to throw a stone to destroy it. then they started switching from being allies to enemies and then back to allies lmfao but basically i did everything i could to kill off their villagers and destroy the town center and then it was a piece of cake
Hey I had a few questions... Why does Huns start attacking suddenly at 22:36? Did you choose Scythe Chariots because Orange had Priests? Why do you sometimes check the Timeline?
i've stucked at this mission i'm playing this expansion first time and i'm playin it on moderate...i hope this would help me but can you tell me why i have problems with saving?
I was going to win.. thought everything was ok until enemy started building a wonder up. I sent my ballista but those MF catapults send them to hell and I didn't even save. Now I'm here watching how did you do (I resisted myself to watch this video before trying it)
ah i didnt think of paying tribute would be worth it... because i thought his allies start attacking from both sides so early so why bother. but this way seems to be easier
Magnatio, i've been playing on hardest too but no enemy seems to ever start building a Wonder... and the Red wont attack me even after I don't pay tribute (they send their units directly at me but due to the bad pathfinding they stay stuck in the forest in their base, LOL) Has any of that ever occurred to you?
@Getúlio Prates: Played this mission again and the red hun will get tributes from the other enemies as well. Even if he don't collect gold by himself he can build a wonder at some point.
In the history of the mission says that the goths were running west escaping in fear from the huns who came from the east, so they inevitably engaged the romans

In DE you can win this scenario by just being afk

the video has a missing part between 1475 and 715 years of red wonder. my bad
The shortcut keys are very efficient, but I still get a little lost in these frantic attacks by enemies, you have to be patient

hello magnatio
I dont know if you consider this "cheesing" but you can wall in the Hun's town center once you become ally
I haven't tried it. But it looks irrelevant. They have post iron age army right in the beginning
@@Magnatiotrue. You can also put houses on where the AI would place his wonder to stop him.

I guess if you don't tribute gold, red won't have the resources to complete the wonder. I guess it was that.

how do you destroy the goths .the goths always attack my base when i were developing empire in the bronze age

Hola
My siege workshop is disabled so I can basically forget it -.-
Siege workshop is enabled when you build archery range
Thank you! I always neglected to build one because the Romans don't have crap for archery units. Thanks for clearing up my idiocy ;)
+diestar1 I did that too. I ended up converting an enemy siege workshop. sigh
stupid question, but who the fuck is yellow, because you gave gold to the huns and they both stand ally but then why yellow attack anyway ?
I guess in history there were different barbarians against romans.
