I flushed my horses with vinegar and baking soda and they exploded. This video should have some sort of warning about that sort of thing. Do you do a video on the best method of removing horse guts from the roof?

i use vinegar all the time to remove rust in the radiator. i do run the engine so it can also reach the rust in the engine. after which i flush as much as possible vinegar out with cheap radiator fluid.
if there is a dinnerspoon of vinegar left throughout the engine cooling line, its not bad. the coolant should be slightly acidic. near 7.
when using vinegar its fine to have the engine run to pass it completely through.
Ye, strong acids eat at metal, especially the corners. but not quickly.
and it depends on the type of acid and metals.
iron and vinegar do not really react.
and household cleaning vinegar isnt that strong.
when flushing it shoudl be ok to use normal water, since we get rid of all the water eventually, except for some residu. but we will also have vinegar residu, together they are fine in the engine if its at very low values, like next to nothing.
    d
if you want all water gone, drain it in very small amounts, every 3 drives or so.
there is not much to do except drain a little and then add new.
So its the othe rway around than suggested in the video:
when flushing with regular water, disconnect the radiator completely. you do not want regular water in the radiator.
radiator, just soak it in vinegar, flush it with the cheapest fluids. ofcourse you can push water through it, but the aluminium is so thin, the slightest water will add rust, even though its aluminium.
the vinegar is also a bit dangerous, again because the radiator alu is so extremely thin.
so i dont let it sit in the radiator for weeks.
overnight, mixed with cheap demineralised fluid (cheap radiator fluid is fine). the vinegar will still remove rust fast even when thinned out.
for the radiator internals, after really completely unblocked again, if worried about thin walls you can spray some anti corrosion rust convertor on the outside, to cover any potential microscopic leaks. but by then a replacement radiator is probably better anyway.
the insides could be further treated with all sorts of cleaners but again, a radiator isnt expensive, and getting all the crud out is usually impossible. while any rust not removed is going back in the engine, causing further rust.
so the thruth is mostly, get a new radiator, make sure all rust is gone from hoses and the engine block.
disconnect the radiator to replace it anyway, and make use of the hoses to directly force pressure to remove glunk, junk, and glogs,

Well I managed to get about half a gallon of vinegar down my first horse but it's gonna be hell getting the second half in him, and any advice on catching the rest of the herd they ran like hell especially after he started foaming at the mouth from the baking soda.

The best method to clean or flush your car radiator is:
Drain all old Radiator coolant or water and then close drainage bolt.
Mix Harpic 100 ML in 3 litre water/ in the same way if required more.
Start your car engine, fill fluid until air-bubbles desappear.
Close radiator cap and wait until cooling fan starts.
Switch off car engine 3 minutes after stopping of cooling fan.
Leave this fluid inside radiator for at least one hour and then drain it.
Clean radiator in similar way now only with tap water or distilled water if you can afford it.
Add new coolant in radiator after draining that water.
    Seeing is believing 👍🏾

I have a suggestion, maybe it isn’t right but maybe if you do the flush with baking soda first as this will try to make the ph level more base thus preventing electrolysis which is one of the reasons why does the inside of your coolant system corrodes (because ph rises) this happens… then use vinegar to increase the acidity to normal level….
    No?
