The isopropyl alcohol is acting as a solvent for the Behentrimonium chloride which is the conditioning cationic ingredient even the high end products use it
I've tried the shampoo and conditioner, the weird thing is that I didn't think the conditioner had a good slip. As far as drugstore gels go, and I've tried several brands, I find them to be a disappointment. I'm all for drugstore hair products, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing any of them. I haven't tried the cream, but I think it'll be fine. I'm currently using L'Oréal Elive Dream Lengths Curls Collection, which I like. They just don't have a styler. I really don't concern myself with what's in the ingredients list.
That's so interesting! It's funny how products really do work differently for different people. It's good to know the conditioner didn't have great slip for you. And that's definitely true. I have a pretty hard time coming up with a drugstore gel that I really love, which is a shame. Maybe I'll have to try the L'Oréal curl products. I've been curious about those as well. ☺️ That's fair. I'm trying to almost retrain myself but to care as much about them. A lot of them have definitely been demonized more than I think they deserve.
@@Linas_lovelylocks 😆 I didn't finish my train of thought about not concerning myself with what's in the product, it's because I do clarify once a month anyway. 😆Sorry about that.
That's fair. I still want to retrain my thoughts on that though. Even though I do clarify frequently, I still hesitate when I see a product with silicone in it. I'm trying to reframe my thoughts on a lot of ingredients that people don't like.
I like the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner better. I find it actually conditions better and has more slip. I did not find their Sleek & Shine Conditioner moisturizing.
It does look nice 😊 i dont understand why drugstore products are supposed to be bad. There are a lot of nice products for a fraction of the price 😅 Personally I like silicones as Well. Only downside is remembering to cleanse regularly.
I don't know either. It's too bad because there are some pretty good drugstore products out there! And it definitely helps the budget 🤣 or at least it lets me buy more products for the same price 😅 And I get that. I don't mind them. ☺️
The conditioner was super drying for me. The leave in cream felt like I had gel in my hair, left a somewhat sticky feeling
That's good to know! Thanks for sharing your experience. I did kind of wonder if the producty feeling I was getting wasn't the gel, but the cream.
Thank you . Iv been wanting a review on these. X
Glad I could help!
I love their air dry cream!!
Good to now it works well for others too! I'll have to try it again with a different gel

Thanks for the info
I love these products

Have you tried umberto gianinni? I would love to see a one brand wash day with that brand 😁
I haven't! I definitely want to though... Hopefully I can get ahold of them soon. I would love to do a review of them

🤣 it's definitely possible
