Your dog at the end is so cute! Oh wow flashback to sheamoisture which was my first ever styling product for wavy hair years ago! I remember I paired it with their gel souffle before the product got weird after they reformulated. I haven't tried them out since probably 2019.
The whipped curl cream looked really good! I loved the volume and definition you got. The bounce back you got from the curl smoothie looked good and it also made the bottom of hair your a little bit more full from the ends. Making me want to try it even though i have enough products in my arsenal 😅
Thanks 😂 she's definitely a cutey.
I was definitely surprised by the results I got. I want expecting them at all. I am glad I got the trial size of the smoothie because I'd likely never go through the full tub. But I am glad I tried them again.
Sorry I'm a bad influence 😂
Yes, would love to see your updated routine.❤😊👍
Awesome 😊 thanks for the feedback! I'll try to get it out soon then
I am impressed what curl creams can do alone. All of them did a surprisingly good job. The whipped cream held up so well.
I am highly interessted in an updated routine or tips how you get longlasting results. Your hair looks amazing and very bouncy. 😊
It definitely depends on the cream, but these all did an amazing job! I was definitely surprised. ☺️ and thank you for your feedback 😁
So interesting to see your results. I pretty much leave my curl cream in my shower and apply as a last step before styling outside of my shower. I have wash days I’m just not feeling like styling. Thinking this would be a good way to style on days I’m not feeling up to doing a full routine. Definitely going to test this out. My favorite cream is from not your mothers. I don’t have to watch how much I use like other creams. Great video!
I thought so too. I used to skip curl cream but this video has me rethinking to rather skip the gel. 😅
That's a great idea! I used to do that too, but I wash my hair and film in distant areas, so not anymore. But I definitely get wanting a low key routine. I think having a curl cream with some gold can be really good for that ☺️ one my favorite curl creams of all times still is the Not Your Mother's Curl Tally defining cream. I always get great results with that. I'm glad you liked the the video. Thank you for your feedback! ☺️
By coincidence, I just got a fresh supply of Curl Enhancing Smoothie after not using it for several years. Now that I see your video, I'm wondering what gel to try with it? I guess it'll be trial & error over time. Will look forward to seeing what you try! Thanks for all your comprehensive reviews/comparisons! 🙂
That's wild! What a coincidence! That is a good question... I was hoping other people might have some suggestions. I do have a couple I was thinking of trying though. Maybe the Aussie Instant Freeze or the Twist Weather Up Gel? I'll have to experiment.
If i used any of these now that I've grown out my grey hair, I'd be over moisturized! 😆
I totally get that! Especially the Curl Glam cream. That was very moisturizing. I will say though that my hair tends to get over moisturized pretty easily and even after using all three of these, it didn't leave me over moisturized. Just thought it was worth noting ☺️
Yes, my grey section hated the yogurt one (the one in the blue tub)! Maybe I used too much🤔 My hair is course and from what I learned, course hair don't like too much protein? I styled my hair upside down and soaking wet that time and bc I styled it that way, I could see what angry frizz was. There was no smoothing it. So I rinsed it out and applied the Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration leave-in (in the brown tub) & it was much happier & silky. I saw what it means when your hair is like seaweed. Have either of you tried that one?
@@Linas_lovelylocks Figures it's the one that's harder to find. 😂 I should just diy a cream light enough for my greys and that moisturizes what's left of my natural. (It's not much!)
@@simplycurlyde My hair loves proteins and I actually used to use that whole yogurt line but now it's way too much moisture. I also used that leave in! It was so nice when I used to dye and had hard water but now, way too thick for me.
@@PandoricaLost I guess all grey aren't the same 😆
