Please note that, unlike Ivy League schools in the USA, an engineering degree from Waterloo, or any other university doesn't get you preferential treatment or higher in the job market. Don't get too caught up on where you go, instead try get a wholesome, enjoyable experience. Done right, university could be the most fun time of your life.
This is slightly false in my own experience. For example, SAP use to strictly recruit from waterloo for their internship programs, specifically in comsci. I do agree raw skills matters more, but having that uni name on your resume makes it easier to land an interview.
Hi! No, from my experience, the scores won't be revealed to the students. You will only know your admission decision after the admission process. However, for AIF, if you've submitted it, the minimum score is 0.5, so you won't get lower than that. Hope that helps!
As far as I know, when video interview first came out around 2017, it's always been treated as an optional thing. So if you do it you get some extra marks, if not, you get 0 for this portion. I don't think there is a minimum score for it. Hope that helps!
Hii! Normally students wouldn't know their admission score even after they got the offer, so I don't know about my AIF and interview scores. I can let you know about my average at the time, dm me on insta @thewilliam1iu
@@thewilliam1iu Hey, I couldn't find your instagram, if you changed your username can you update me on it? I just want to see your admission average, thanks

Great video. However, how did you get scholarships in Waterloo? It will be better if you make video on scholarships.
I'm in ECE, class of 2027 and for the interview, there were only 2 verbal questions in my year
Thank you so much for that info!! I have included that in the description!
Wait after you attended Waterloo for some time, did you know what you score on the video interview and AIF?

Is the video interview thru Kira Talent?
Can I include grade 11 and grade 12 grades together
Hey, could you share your admissions score assuming average aif and interview scores?

bro stop reading off of your screen. It doesn’t feel like you’re talking directly to the audience
I mean he did have some pretty good points, thats why I'm watching anyways, not for his talking skills
